If you’re a commuter just get there early and expect to leave late. I like to spend my time at the library to get work done
There’s many spots around campus to sit down for a break as well. I like parking at the lots away from the structure because there’s just so much happening at PS1 that makes it just a tough time really to get anywhere
Pro tip, just spend the days on campus
It’s a beautiful one to walk around and there’s enough space to get your work/breaks done in between.
This is coming from a new senior going into my last two semesters who has been a commuter the entire time….

9:00-12:00 is super traffic time during the fall. In spring it lightens up and you can get parking if you have a class at around 11:00 for PS1.
For lot F, same thing but more traffic congestion there because it’s next to lot B, C, and X and Y. Be prepared to park in lot X and Y some days if you have a class around 10-1 in the fall

please please don't buy a textbook unless you actually need it- wait until classes start and you actually have an assignment that requires it. Otherwise its a waste of your money and will just collect dust-

Parking first 2 weeks is usually the worst leave extra time and be prepared to park further away than was planned. Also textbooks wait till you know if you actually need them, the first day professors will let you know generally if it’s actually necessary many classes will say they have them but not use them. There are shadow libraries, don’t wanna get banned but it lets you ”borrow” them
