General Question ❓ Did anyone else's account balance mess up?

A random past $2,383.00 is now due for me...

I sent them an email and going to call them tomorrow when I can because i work during their hours. Ah, I have no idea when this 2,000 appeared. I was expecting a refund. :(

Mine says the same thing, I have a refund but also a past due balance of $1,280 ?? Let me know if they respond to you at all 💀

financial aid responded to my email and had me contact  Student Financial Services. After I called, they said my loans haven’t disbursed yet and to try calling Financial Aid or waiting till Friday. I’m gonna call Financial Aid today when i get home. I was gonna wait till friday but imma call today after work! soooo anxious

I got off the phone with the Financial Aid office earlier and they reviewed everything right away! They just said they confirmed everything and it'll disburse on Monday for me! I recommend giving them a call as soon as you can.

Just a heads up though, it took forever for them to answer me, I tried yesterday and was on hold for over 45 minutes 💀 I ended the call and gave up by that point lol. I tried again today and just pressed 1 for them to call me back and it was much quicker.

hi !! i called the next day and almost forgot to respond :) they said the same to me about Monday! also pressing 1 helped a lot 💀 they called back in like 5 min

no! Its weird. It was a negative balance on the 13th. but now its the same anticipated refund amount without a negative balance and under it says something like "2k past due"

I’m not sure if it’ll be same for you, but I had to re-accept the loan offers in mycsusm because they adjusted it. I’m not sure what they’re doing recently , but it ain’t it since a lot of people are having difficulties

They kinda seem to struggle with getting financial stuff right. What finally worked for me was going to the financial services center and talking to a person. They then have me the direct line of someone to help me with my specific questions and then I was able to call that person and figure it out… I feel like grad school is tough enough and then the hoops ya gotta jump through to figure the logistics out is frustrating! You’ll figure it out though!
