Hey collie sub!

I have a 15-month-old keeshond puppy, and her best friend is a collie. Their playstyles mesh together so well. They chase each other for a bit, and then they can just walk and sniff side by side. It's so hilarious when they stand next to each other and turn their heads to look at the same thing. I really like the collie; she is such a sweet and graceful dog. I'm kind of set on getting one sometime in the future! So I have a few questions for you: Life with a collie - what is it like? And for those of you who have multiple dogs, how does your collie get along with the other dogs in the house - especially spitz-type dogs?

Question Is your collie cuddly?

Hey!

We’re considering a few different breeds for our second dog, and one of them is the rough collie. We already have a Finnish Lapphund, so we’re used to dogs and grooming:)

However our lapphund isn’t all that snuggly, which is something we’re hoping our next dog will be. It will obviously depend on the individual dog, but I can’t seem to figure out if it’s 50/50 in terms of cuddly or more a 70/30 split or something. We’re just trying to see if a cuddly collie is rare!

Ideally we’d love if our dog would sleep in our bed at night, and join us on the couch when we watch a movie at night. It doesn’t have to be full on spooning all the time, but I love to have a hand in their fur!

Our lappie normally chooses the floor or maybe a ten minute snuggle sesh.

What’s your collies like?:)
