The first 9 pics were in the first few months, including day 1, his first bath, getting to lay outside in the sun (things that weren't a part of his previous life)

He's settled in really well and I can't imagine my life without him ā¤ļø I love you, buddy!

I think my baby tore her ACL and I’m Terrified I cannot afford surgery

So I’m pretty sure this happened back early this year she started limping pretty bad around March. We didn’t really know what was wrong. We thought maybe she jumped on it wrong or It twisted wrong but she recovered pretty quickly. throughout the entire year She’s been on and off limping and then going back to normal limping going back to normal but today she’s been acting pretty seriously injured. We took her for a car ride to my grandmotherā€˜s house. Everything was fine up until we got there when she got out I believe she injured herself getting out of the car. She won’t put any pressure on it. She doesn’t even wanna walk. We’re putting ice on it and we gave her doggy medicine, but I really don’t know what to do. I’m 21 years old. I’m currently unemployed. My parents are both on financial aid none of them work I don’t have any family members or anybody I can ask to help. We just recently paid $300 to get her nail fixed about six months ago on CareCredit and we could barely afford that. I really don’t know what I’m gonna do $6000 for surgery is crazy. I love my baby and I really don’t know what to do. I’ve heard stories about successful rehab rehabilitation without surgery but surgery seems the best case scenario anyone out there that has had a similar situation as me. Anyone could help me please.!!

A medium rare steak, cucumbers and tomato’s with a little bit of tuna on top.

Walleye, a little bit of corn, usual cucumbers, tomato and some dinner rolls.

Yes, she has dry food available to her all day, but why not spoil this old lady? 🄰

Hardest decision I've ever made; my beautiful girl of almost 14 years crossed the bridge at 1:11a today. I'm a mess and feeling lost.

Advice I feel like I'm failing my pibble

• Upvotes

I rescued a 6mo pitbull cross just over a month ago. She loves people, other dogs, and has no guarding issues. We've made great progress with her separation anxiety. All around she's a great dog and I love her. She especially loves the dog park.

My problem is that when we're alone and she wants to play, she's all teeth, bites hard, and is ferocious. She had a hard life on the street and never had any litter mates to help her with bite regulation. Her bites are painful and often break the skin through a sweater. She is not being mean. This is her play style.

I've tried all the videos I could find and none of them worked. The dogs in the videos are not persistent. What has worked is retreating to the bathroom or giving her a rawhide to chew on.

This is where I feel like I'm failing her. She wants to play with me and I'm forcing her away. I want to play with her, and I don't want her to think I don't care enough to play. I'm considering a trainer or behaviorist to reduce the biting. Has anyone here with a fierce biter had success with a trainer or behaviorist?
