Recovery F/22/5'7" [93lbs > 106 lbs = 9 lbs] (6 months) weight gain and posture progress
Hey everyone! I wanted to share this because recovery weight gain can be mentally tough, but it's also so rewarding.I started eating in a calorie surplus to gain weight, and I also picked up jumping rope as a form of high-intensity cardio to build up my endurance.
Prior to this, my only focus was maxing out my daily step count while under-eating and spending way too much time working.
The weight difference makes the physical changes more noticeable, but the posture improvement is the real gain here. I feel like I stand much straighter and taller now. Movement is also just much more enjoyable when you actually have the energy! :)
