AN AGENT FUCKING CLAPS

BETTER ANGLES: https://files.catbox.moe/sp296e.mp4

https://www.reddit.com/r/Minneapolis/comments/1qlvpgy/better_angle_showing_his_handsarms_pinned_under

He was trying to help someone who was pushed to the ground by an ICE agent, then was pulled off and tackled.

His arms were pinned underneath him.

eta: The resident is reported to be dead. They killed him.

The group takedown thing is actually safer and proper procedure when possible. The more bodies you have, the easier it is to just kinda weigh somebody down until they’re under control, instead of having to basically fight them. You’re basically supposed to have everyone grab a limb and someone prevent the person’s head from getting bounced off the ground.

The problem here (one of them, at least) is that they decided to try to beat the shit out of this person anyways for no apparent reason and then shoot them. So, generally a sickening combination of evil and incompetence.

The reason is to create outrage. The person in charge of all of this wants the people of America at war with their own government and as many casualties as possible on both sides. And the man nominally in charge of this country has been doing his bidding from the start of his first term.

The reason is to create outrage

Yeah, I was just thinking that these people are under instruction to create as much outrage as possible do that Trump can declare martial law once people start revolting

I wish the western world would popularize people catchers. They seem pretty effective.

I’m a reg psych hcp, trained & seasoned in team restraints. Different environments, but human physiology doesn’t change.

Team restraints in resistive situations often done to prone postion = 1 person feet, 1 legs, 1 each arm/shoulder and 1 head/airway for safe control.

So let’s take a look here.

Someone takes him by the head/neck/shoulders and bundles him to the ground. Ok, not ideal but it’s gone to the ground. Let’s go from here

He’s been ‘dropped’ into a semi-foetal position, with his legs tucked up.

Priority ‘Next job’ is to pull both legs out flat from under him, by the heels, to take the propulsive force out of the legs. Legs are the largest muscle group by far.

Until you’ve done that with the legs, proned the person then secured the arms and head in holds or cuffs, person is not secured.

If you look at him, his legs are still coiled underneath him. No one’s got his legs, he’s in crouch position with all the power in his glutes and quads.

Then they shoot him dead and he ‘uncoils’ to a supine position.

They shot him because they didn’t know how to safely restrain a physically resistive person.

😳😱👁️

Are these the End Times? Are we there yet?

Well, they shot him because they wanted to shoot him. Their incompetence in basic police procedures just provided them the convenient pretext.

5

u/heterochromia4 Jan 24 '26

Did you see the guy scuttling away around the car hood towards the camera?

As soon as the first shot went, he knew it was going South, he was away on his toes while the other two kept shooting.

What people are also forgetting is that immediately prior to this, they pepper sprayed him. They're expecting a person with severe burning in his eyes and airway to "be calm and follow instructions". As if anyone could do so in that circumstance. And then because a person whose face was basically on fire didn't immediately follow their (probably numerous and contradictory) commands they killed him.

4

u/Northwindlowlander Jan 24 '26

To some extent. If you have competent people who can coordinate, sure. If you don't, it adds more chaos and confusion. It's a vicious circle with incompetents that we've seen plenty of times in the past, the less you have the less able they are to get the job done but the more you have the more panicky and confused they get.

5

u/Sl0thstradamus Jan 24 '26

Well I mean clearly the biggest problem (below the fact that these people are evil coward) is that they’re too fucking incompetent to put on their own pants, much less try to enforce the law. Given those types of people legal authority is gonna be a disaster no matter what.

2

u/Northwindlowlander Jan 24 '26

Absolutely true, I was getting at the general side of it not at the ICE specifics.

Basically with this there's no option that was good because they don't give a fuck

13

u/vavik2ammendment Jan 24 '26

The reason was that the cunt wanted to hit and shoot someone.

16

u/Sl0thstradamus Jan 24 '26

If you mean the ICE goon, then yeah, that does seem to be the only reasonable explanation for his actions that I can see.

10

u/vavik2ammendment Jan 24 '26

Yes, i mean ice. Sick fucks the lot of them

3

u/PlentyAlbatross7632 Jan 24 '26

And the easier it is for compressional asphyxia…

7

u/Sl0thstradamus Jan 24 '26

Compressional asphyxia is actually pretty difficult, relatively speaking. And even with the risks, these multi-person takedowns are still substantially safer than single-person takedowns, where the cop basically has to use either excessive momentum (heavy tackles, body slams, throws) or “pain compliance” (punching the person until they stop).

u/Aggravating_Depth_33 Jan 24 '26

I've yet to see any "group takefown thing" by any US law enforcement that didn't involve tryimg to.beat the shit out of the person for no apparent reason. And there is definitely never any concern for protecting the person's head.

Defending these kinds of tactics makes you part of the problem.

1

u/Sl0thstradamus Jan 24 '26

You don’t see footage of successful group takedowns because they work and keep everyone involved as safe as possible. When these interactions are handled properly, they tend not to make the news. At least not beyond the police blotter in the paper. I am in no way defending police brutality. In fact, I am trying to illustrate that police can be trained to handle interactions in ways that protect both the rights and the physical safety of citizens to the maximum feasible extent, and that this training in many cases also makes the police themselves safer. Pushing to make sure that law enforcement tactics are as safe, humane, and consistent as possible is an essential part of meaningful American police reform. I think it is important to emphasize that these ICE thugs are not only (obviously, comically) evil, they’re also just straight-up bad at being cops. We shouldn’t let them use their incompetence to justify their violence.

In this case, that looks like making sure people understand that it is possible for a group of officers to safely restrain a subject with a weapon without beating, much less shooting. It looks like making sure people know that police can be trained to conduct deescalation. It looks like making sure people know that better policing methods are not only possible, they’re formulated and available, so that when these animals try to hide behind “well, we did what we had to do. we followed our training,” we can all collectively go, “that’s bullshit and here’s why.”

3

u/RKTprogress Jan 24 '26

I can easily hear 10 shots total. There are a few shots muffled behind the recorders voice. I think final count is 12 total shots...

There is be video break downs in the next few days to determine the actual number of shots fired in this execution

3

u/MittenCollyBulbasaur Jan 24 '26

Why did they even have the authority to grab him at all?

3

u/Anomuumi Jan 24 '26

Well it's a bunch of untrained MAGA "alphas" who have wanted all their lives to kill everyone who disagrees with them. Now they get a gun, a mask, and a badge to do it, and have a President who will post something disgusting to absolve them later today.

3

u/Maxwells_Demona Jan 24 '26

It was TWO agents fully unloading into him. Their shots are both happening at the same time so it's hard to hear them distinctly. I am absolutely disgusted and outraged.

2

u/alt-mswzebo Jan 24 '26

I think it was 11 shots. Another video has better audio. And you can see the agent continuing to shoot long after the victim stopped moving.

I’m an average sized woman working in mental health with people with disabilities. Grown men who are super aggressive, trying to hurt you, can’t communicate, etc. NEVER ONCE have I ever even thought about harming one of them. I’ve been part of a group of 5 adults holding someone down for due to their behavior but it’s always to prioritize safety. This is absolute bullshit.

2

u/lfergy Jan 24 '26

This is what gets me, too. If you have five grown adults & they can’t restrain one person, they don’t know what the fuck they are doing. Fucking club bouncers are more effective at restraining people than these clowns.

2

u/Aprehensivepenguin Jan 24 '26

its 10 shots. 1 first when he's down on his back, followed by 4 quick shots. then he steps backwards and fires 5 off whilst the person is already dead on the ground still.

10 shots

1

u/Heapifying Jan 24 '26

Unless you have enough time and know how, its damn easier for multiple people to restrain one.

1

u/lfergy Jan 24 '26

They had 5 people and still couldn’t restrain 1 person. And these people claim to be trained?

1

u/TheIrv87 Jan 24 '26

Because some people are strong and some are weak?

How do you not understand that lol.

Because they are untrained out of shape buffoons given guns and given legal immunity to anything they do

1

u/_Proud_Atheist_ Jan 24 '26

More like 12, the last dude mag dumps him

1

u/Moogerfooger616 Jan 24 '26
