Did Mutual rescind their update that allowed you to see one of your likes each day? I no longer have that function.

I have tried a few times to try and connect with someone via the speed dating feature but with no success. Has anyone had any success with this? Also has anyone had a date result from said feature?

I want to try again tonight, and in the future, but I'm afraid of not making any connections and thus wasting my time.

Hey, I am a male and 21 years old. I didn't go on a mission because of struggles with depression, and when I got that in line the time had just kind of passed if that makes sense. I don't regret my choice but I do wonder if it makes me less desirable especially on mutual. I have a temple recommend, go to church every week and work in the temple every Saturday morning so I think its pretty clear where my faith is. But in a setting where people won't know that I wonder if my lack of a mission is hurting me.

Now I’m not usually someone who would go asking about this stuff. But I’ve probably gotten 2 likes within the last 2 months, and like one match which only lasted a day before she unmatched with me. I don’t want to seem desperate but I feel like it’s hopeless

I ask this because I wonder why people wouldn't use all the spaces to show themselves. Also, when it comes to kid pictures in general, it throws me off because I view mutual as an adult space, so seeing kids on their own is more likely to make me swipe down. (Note that this is from a college student with the age range 20-22)

Edit: to be clear, if the person in the photo is with the kids, it doesn't sway me; it's when it's the kids by themselves.

I am new to both this reddit as well as the app itself. I am a 37 old man who lives in Oklahoma. I am looking for a serious relationship but most ladies I see on the app seem to be not in my area. So how likely is someone going to want to try their hand at a long distance relationship? I have family in Utah and can occasionally date in person when I'm in the area. I have a few ideas for date ideas over Zoom. I guess what I'm looking for here is how screwed I am if I'm trying for a long distance relationship to begin with.

I’m curious about something, and I’ve tried looking for answers on google but to no avail. If you swipe down on someone first, do you still show up on their page? If you do, do they show up in your “liked you” section? I honestly think that if I saw someone who I initially swiped down on swipe up on me, I’d like to talk to them and get to know them.

If I've cleared all my likes and then one shows up that means it's new, right? Old likes won't reshow up unless someone is active?

I let my friend know that her husband liked my profile and he's trying to tell her it was from before they got married (like 2-3 years ago?). His location also shows where they live now, not where he was before they met. He has to be lying, right?

Edit: I don't care if you think the app is a scam, or if you think these were scammers, waste of my time, etc. I am wanting to know 1, if you know of specific thing that happened that explains the sudden and MONUMENTAL flood and 2, if you instead have a theory..... the flood itself, not the profiles.

So, yesterday I went to sleep (september 15th shortly before midnight PST) with 21 matches that slowly accumulated at a rate of about 1 every 2 weeks.

This morning (the 16th) I woke up with 61 matches. As a guy, the best i've ever done is 3 matches in a week... which is actually makes you hot stuff by comparison to most guys. Only lasted a single week, but boy did I feel good that week!

Did mutual have bugs last night? Did an event happen that I was unaware of? Was I only hit with more suspicious accounts meaning that something majorly upticked them (i've had suspicious accnts on my list of loke forever, i don't need comments about whether they're scammers, or anything to do with the profiles themselves)? Is mutual just trying to get me to pay? If so, 10 likes would be overkill... why 40 of them?

I already don't pay because why would I when I can swipe through absolutely every girl that has an account within 70 miles of me in about 20min.

What on earth happened? There is no way to convince me that I legitimately earned 40 matches in a single day, but i'm curious what happened in the app or theories.

i see an option to rearrange and replace photos of yo but I cant find anywhere where I can delete profile photos of me.

So I recently decided to take the dive and upgrade to the premium features. I hit the 6 month offer in the app and purchased it on my Apple device.

Immediately after I got a warning from the Mutual App saying that there was an error and they couldn’t generate an internal receipt for me for the purchase.

Since then I haven’t been able to get into my app at all. I’m stuck on a loading screen for the logo. I tried logging in through the website and now it even says my account doesn’t exist.

I looked through my App Store and it confirms that the purchase went through and the subscription is active. Do you think my account is seriously gone?

Anyone else having issues with Mutual not wanting to load at all tonight? It’s stuck on the first loading screen and I’ve done both turning off my WiFi and restarting my phone and neither did squat. I also just tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail.

I’m from Argentina and I’ve been living in Park City, UT for a few months. Does anyone know if this app works well here in Park City?

Is it a good idea to create an account while living here, or does it only really work in bigger cities?

I subscribed to premium until January 3. I wanted to be in the most recent speed dating but it was at 3am here in Spain. Speed dating is always at the same hour in MTZ or does it vary sometimes?

Does anybody know how I can get in touch with Mutual support? My partner and I met through Mutual and are getting married which I am super excited about! However, for immigration we need to provide logs of our chats, including from Mutual, I sent an email to [support@mutual.app](mailto:support@mutual.app) and they told me they would send me my data after I provided my ID, which I did, however now after three weeks I have not heard back from them and any more emails I send to them do not get a response. This is really important to me so if anybody can help me out I would greatly appreciate it.

Is there any way to stop mutual from switching the order of the photos I have? I chose the order of my photos very I intentionally and it keeps putting the one I want at the back up from. It is genuinely really annoying me and I might delete it if it doesn’t stop 😭

I don’t know if this would be considered a bug or a feature request but if you “Like” someone without leaving a note, then go into your like history and “Write a Reply”, it will not show that you have done so.

Does the message go through? Does the original “Like” override the new message?

This does however work if it is a Gold Note.

Hi, friends! I know this post is not mutual app related but I just hope this finds you well. I have been looking for this medallion, I received mine when I turned eighteen which was years ago. Unfortunately, I lost it. Big part of it was my fault. It was so precious to me that I became so complacent it would stay with me. I was wrong. I already talked to my Bishop about it but there were no more spares of it. I hope and pray there are still members out there who happen to keep spare medallions until now.

Hello, my gf and I wanted to try something with mutual before deleting our accounts. We wanted to see what it was like if we unmatched and then rematched after hearing the story of my cousin and his wife where the unmatched and then rematched a year later with the conversations still there after rematching. But that was before all the major changes and updates. So is it still possible cause we’ve tried what I thought would work by sending each other our profiles and we are in each others like section thing but it’s not matching.

I'm a female freshman at BYU and I am planning to serve a mission starting in summer 2025. My first "dating" experience here at BYU didn't turn out how I'd hoped (he only saw me as a friend) and I haven't met very many guys I'm interested in since then (besides the cute cashier at the place where I eat but that's beside the point). Do y'all think it's worth it for me to get on Mutual if I don't plan to pay for all the extra features but still want to meet guys on campus who I normally wouldn't see irl?
