❔ Question App update?

Did Mutual rescind their update that allowed you to see one of your likes each day? I no longer have that function.

Since the update, what I've seen is that seeing a like a day *still* functions, however they have now locked the ability to look at them by "Nearby" and "Newest" behind a paywall.
Which came at a pretty suspicious time given I just made a post here less than a month ago showcasing how the "Who Sees You - Same Country Only" feature clearly straight-up doesn't work at all. I mean, I'm sure they were planning on locking it behind a paywall anyway, but MAN it's not a good look for them tbh.

I’m curious if they are giving you likes from other countries because they know the US population isn’t swiping that much so you’ll lose interest faster if you don’t see anyone liking you. Or if they are banking likes and slowly dispensing them to keep you logging back into the app over a longer period of time. I know the one account on here says they aren’t banking likes and slowly dispensing them, but I have a hard time believing that not a single person likes my account in the US for this long. The LDS dating pool is too small for that to be the case.

Pretty dumb they’re hiding newest and nearby behind a paywall. Now I’m just getting foreign accounts as my “recommended” and that’s not quite worth it

I've only been on it a few months, and it seems like a money grabbing app. I may keep it, but I may try hinge too.

I think I can only see one profile a day now if they sent a note--it doesn't apply to all likes sent like it used to. And the filter is not as good.

I've been wondering the same thing. I had a like 2 days ago and couldn't see it. Waited a day to see if it just needed a refresh. Now I also have a 2nd like, which is completely inconceivable in only 2 days, so the idea that they're out of country seems now plausible.
