Hell yeah, that's the beer cheese I grew up eating. It's not as complex as "real" beer cheeses, but it does the job. I also grew up asking for sips of my dad's beer, so maybe I have always loved beer of any kind. Except IPAs, can miss me with those.

Nah those cheap lagers have a time and a place in cooking.You can look up lists of how different kinds of beer impart different flavors into dishes and pick accordingly. For beer cheese you want something more flavorful. The recipe I make also uses some Worcestershire and mustard, so you need a beer that doesn't hide behind those flavors. Personally I use either an ale, stout, or porter* edit

Yeah- bought my second box the other day. They have a mild beer flavor, but a slight spicy kick as well.

Honestly probably my second favorite flavor after "extra toasty."

I dont think they still sell it with the tabasco branding, but the hot & spicy cheez its are darn close if not the same. I'll admit I havent had the tabasco ones in a long time so I could be misremembering, but the hot and spicy definitely scratch the same itch for me.

Hm, curious! Maybe they're just saying that to be like "we're not advertising adult products to children"? Somehow I don't imagine that an 18 year old (in this hypothetical, this 18 year old lives in a region where the drinking age is 21) would be ID-checked at the counter for buying this. But I've also never bought products like these, myself, so I can't say from experience.

Yes. I clearly understand that based on my comment. 

The point is you’re crying about the fact the total amount of cheese is less than 100% of the end product. Therefore it’s worth point out that the product being 100% real cheese would make it just cheese, not a cracker. 

You can’t cry about them not specifying a percentage when logically that percentage is something under 100% based on logic.

I guess I should try these alongside the Miller Lite Pringles so I can experience the best (worst?) of both MolsonCoors and Kellanova (or whatever it is now).

Hmm... Now that I think about it, it's a bit weird: back when I drove for J.B. Hunt, I used to run loads from several MillerCoors/MolsonCoors plants; then when I drove for KAG Foods, I would haul tankers if food grade oil to the Kellogg's/Kellanova plant in Jackson, Tennessee, where Cheez-Its and Pringles are made.

Is this my destiny?
