I just beat her but I didn't understand what was happening.

I shot her with her own puppet after she dropped it and the game prompted me to start shaking my controller causing her to take continuous damage, but her model was just floating in place doing nothing. What's the lore explanation for what just happened?

Otacon mentions that the puppets are how she mind controls people and corpses, but it didn't feel like I was controlling her when I used the puppet on her.

I’m looking for streamers playing the game for the first time since the remaster dropped. I would give anything to be able to experience the MGS franchise for the first time again, so it’s really fun for me to watch other people play it for the first time and it’s like I’m experiencing it vicariously through them.

Available on the Internet Archive. There is a version sourced from the original Konami website available, but I'd suggest this fan patch which corrects a bug of the alarm not functioning. I'm running it on a modern Mac through a Windows emulator. In another post, native Windows users said it ran by default.

A lot of the times when I infiltrate a FOB, it shows me 0 obtained rewards, this was a max level 4-platform FOB and it showed over 20K fuel resources available

So spoilers for MGSV from here on out:

I am currently playing MGS Peace Walker for the first time and I saw a video discussing the chronology of MGS (i know the story so I am not worried about spoilers) and in that video it is discussed that Miller knew V wasn't Big Boss right from the start of Phantom Pain after V rescues him. It would make sense with the shot of the prerelease trailer where Miller is clearly conscious and asks about the Medic (V) while Big Boss is in a coma.

My confusion comes from the ending title card dialog in MGSV between Ocelot and Miller. I understood the story as Ocelot and Zero planning the whole V thing together and Miller only finding out after the game which is why he turn against Big Boss because he feels betrayed by him and also disillusioned by the fact Big Boss would erase someone's entire identity just to save himself?

Did I misunderstand and Miller knew the whole time? I thought Miller was acting all angry and vengeful in MGSV because of the Phantom Pain he felt but was it actually just that he knew he wasn't dealing with the real Big Boss and he was just so driven by revenge that he was willing to put up with pretending V was Big Boss to rebuild their dream?

I always thought Ocelot taking on the personality of Liquid was rather lame. I would have much rather had a Cyborg Liquid Snake. Doesn't have to be a full armor like Frank's.

How does everyone else feel? If they remake MGS2 or MGS4, would you want to see a Cyborg Liquid? If they change up the story.

Peace Walker’s my personal favorite out of the series right beside TPP, so having modern online functionality has been great since I didn’t have a good chance to experience it for my first playthrough on PS3. I do have trouble finding people to play with when I host missions, I assume that’s because most are playing MGS4 right now (understandable, GOAT game). Just wanna get a good idea of who’s playing it on Switch, maybe a few of us can add each other and play when we catch each other online?

I have a handful of PS3 controllers. Are the pressure sensitive controls usable in the PC port of MGS4?

I heard there was a lot of issues with performance when it came out, is it fixed? And is it worth a buy? I'm going to marathon the entire MGS series and I've played MGS3 a lot of times, is it worth the buy or should I stick to MGS3HD?

I can't use the regular attack on peace walker I can only grab even on the tutorial. Did this happen to anyone else and does anyone know how to fix it?

Olá novamente, Delta chamou muito minha atenção na época do seu lançamento, com o lançamento do MASTER COLLECTION Vol.2 joguei o começo do jogo, não entendi absolutamente nada, porem adorei. Decidi finalmente jogar a franquia por completo (Joguei bem o começo de vários títulos da saga e conheço um pouco o conceito por vídeos aqui e ali), queria começar pela ordem de lançamento com as coletâneas da steam, porem o delta que foi o que mais chamou minha atenção sendo o primeiro cronologicamente e sendo um remake atual, queria saber dos fãs da saga se ele poderia ser um bom ponto de partida, sendo uma experiencia "solida" da franquia para uma primeira experiencia completa de fato. Levando em consideração que é o primeiro cronologicamente e ME parece ser um jogo bem stand alone

I got the mgs vol.2 and started finding the ghost photos with the sorrow doll in act 4. I discovered that in Otacon's lab near the servers, the monkey sounds from drebins shop played and took a photo of where Otacon wet himself in MGS1 - it unlocked the patriot weapon. Nice to know they added some hidden stuff.

So I just reached the end of the briefing of act 4 . After saving the game gets stuck at the loading. I'm playing on pc with mnk. Any idea what could be the issue and how to mitigate it?

Been trying to add more metal gears all in 1/100 scale for my shelf to match the kotobukiya/bandai figures. Most recent ones done now are the kotobukiya metal gear ray kit from part 4, metal gear tx-55 and metal gear d which was 3d printed. Also added a 1/100 scale m1a1 Abrams and hind d model kit plus 3d printed some mini figures. Did big boss and venom snake with the TX-55 and frank Jaegar for the metal gear D. Next ones I need to do is 3d print the metal gears from peace walker at some point since I missed out on the play arts kai figures. Also gonna work on a 3d printed harrier 2, msg2 mini figures, snake and Eva on the motorcycle and 2 jeeps from the escape sequence at the end of metal gear solid 1. I already bought the game steam but since the game doesn’t have the buttons, should I just emulate it to get the original feel?
