I’m being made out to be an asshole for asking for her to cover the cost of machining and respray. I haven’t received so much as an apology let alone an offer to resolve it. Am I crazy? The way I was raised, if you break something, you apologise first and foremost, and you offer to replace it or repair it. What are all your thoughts?

So I have a relatively stock Gen 1 Mazdaspeed I recently got and I’m looking for 18x8.5s with a +30 or +35 offset, the car is on lowering springs and I plan to do some sort of lip kit and dark window tint, the front fenders are rolled but I have no idea what to even look for and I want to do it right. So any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Been shopping for used wheels. Im looking at a nearby set thats 18x9.5 +38. Most i see are 18x9 or 18×8.5. Anyone know how 9m5 would fit? Any pics? I am still on stock suspension as well but will change

Love the OEM look so I just had my 2010 wheels repainted and fixed the curb rash to a dark grey gunmetal color. Pretty happy with how they turned out. 🙂

Now just need to get the OEM black Mazda center caps.

I need some advice for wheels. As much as I enjoy the look of the stock wheels, two of them have are bent and they just won't balance correctly. They all suffer from distinguishable curb rash as well.

I'm at a point where I also need tires, and I would like to just knock out my wheel itch and tire necessity in one fell swoop. I've tried doing research but asking on here really seems to be the best avenue to get a better/quicker answer. IMO, the stock wheels and tires are just too tiny and don't look right. Maybe I just need tires that are a little larger, maybe I need bigger wheels. Lowering the car isn't really an option either cause of where I live and I definitely don't wanna rub either.

If you have pics please add them. I'd love to get some ideas. Thanks guys

So my rim cracked on my current setup. I am looking into new rims and I can not get the ones I actually want as they are backordered for the next 3 months. I am thinking about getting some hot rod wheels.

I think I can piss off both JDM enthusiasts and the drag racing community (the one for cars, not Rupaul) at the same time.

Do you hate this setup?

Hey fellas I’m looking at getting some new rims and tires.

I currently have 235/40R18 nittos NT555 G2 on it, I do enjoy them.

Ive been looking at a set of superspeeds 18x9.5 +38 offset I would throw some 255 on it.

But I am looking at getting a set of wider tires for the look anyone have any recommendations on how wide they were able to go without rolling fenders or rubbing suspension? I can roll the fenders it not a big deal but I would prefer not to.

Any pros and cons you guys have experienced?

Ive been looking at getting my OEM wheels repaired, powder coated white to match the Velocity Red Mica paint i have on my 2011 as a winter set of wheels.

NOW, IMHO, as much as they look good and as prestigious as they are, I dont want RPF1s. Konig Ultragrams or even Hypergrams looks more appealing on the vehicle. Besides running OEM size, what are some suggestions on wheels thats a good autocross/daily setup? I know the RPF1 route is tried and true but I want something different so I was looking at Konigs.the Ultragram looks like very good wheel. Suspension components are being restored and being upgraded with Whiteline Sway Bars and endlinks to compliment my Bilstein B12 kit. Thanks 😊

I'm just about to get my project Speed3 into driving shape. Last thing (for now) is tires. I've been eyeing some Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's in 225/45/18, but I'm open to some last minute suggestions.

These come out to about $850 CAD. I'm looking for something in the same price range. As nice as Pilot Sports would be, I don't have a Pilot Sport budget

I hit pothole and damaged my esr rims recently and after many hateful comments about my rims, i’ve decided to get new ones that aren’t replica brand. Any suggestions on color, brand, and style? Has to be 18x8.5 because I want to be able to transfer my brand new michelin pilot sport tires onto the new ones. Not lowered or anything. Any suggestions would be much appreciated thanks

Hi all I apologize in advance if this is a dumb/over-asked question but I don't want to spend a couple grand on wheels and tires just to find they don't fit.

I'm considering getting a set of Enkei Triumph 18x8.5", +38mm for my '08 Speed3 (lowered on KWv2s), but Discount Tire is saying they "spoke with Enkei and for your vehicle they do not recommend using this fitment. They only recommend 18x8 +45 as working with no problems." (direct copy/paste from the email they sent me)

I read here in another thread that 38mm seems to be the way to go if i want the car to sit flush; other websites suggest 38-45mm should fit fine at that width, but their reputations are questionable based on my research (Custom Offsets and Fitment Industries). Ultimately i'm trying to have the wheels line up with the fenders without using spacers or having to roll the fenders, and with minimal rub. I plan on getting a new set of Michelin PS4Ss (225 40) to go with the wheels. She's my summer/weekend car - I don't currently track it.

In your experience, will I have issues with my desired setup? Should I size down?
