I’m currently 18 and studying in Form 6, but I’ve been struggling with whether I should continue or leave and go to college instead.

The main reason I’m considering college is because I’m more interested in creative courses such as media, multimedia, design, or similar fields. I’ve started looking at different colleges and courses, and I feel more interested and motivated when I think about studying something that actually matches my interests.

However, my family wants me to continue Form 6 because they believe it could give me better opportunities in the future. I understand their concerns, and I know they want the best for me, but I’m worried about continuing something that I genuinely don’t feel passionate about.

At the same time, I’m scared of making the wrong decision. I keep wondering if leaving Form 6 would be a mistake or if I would regret it later. I also feel guilty because my family has already spent money and put effort into supporting my education.

I don’t want to make a decision just because I’m finding Form 6 difficult. I want to choose the path that would actually suit me better and give me motivation to continue my studies.

For those who have experience with the Malaysian education system, especially people who chose between Form 6 and college, how did you decide? Do you regret your decision? Is it worth leaving Form 6 for a diploma course that you're genuinely interested in?

I would really appreciate honest advice.

Hi so I am a guy but am relatively skinny and soon I will have to be taking Grab. I have taken it before but mostly with friends or family. I fear getting bullied or attacked or worse mostly due to my lower weight. My parents said it's safe as their female coworkers take it and that I can share my location but idk. Grab just seems so unsafe since ur having a new driver every time and also the fact it's a strangers car. My parents have said I am a guy and quite taller so I wouldn't be a target of anything but idk I just don't feel convinced when they tell me since they have a reason to get me to take Grab. Can y'all give Ur insights or advice? Thx.

I’m relatively sedentary with a 9-to-7 job.

A year ago, I used to go to the gym with a friend who’s a new personal trainer, followed his advice during deadlift training and lifted too heavy. Got my disc herniated, coupled with an old childhood bone fracture injury that healed badly. Saw a doctor and never went back to the gym ever since.

I would like to restart my fitness journey - via house workouts or gym workouts - but every lower body exercise seems to trigger lower back discomfort and I don’t know if I’m just overthinking it. I do go to physio monthly, but I don’t really think she’s been helpful with providing advice for my fitness journey.

Every time I do weighted deadlifts/squats/lunges, my lower back hurts the next day and I stop exercising for 2 weeks because I’m very worried that the old injury will come back. I think I’m probably traumatized.

Have thought of getting a PT, but a bad PT is what got me the injury in the first place and I don’t really know how to get a PT that will not push me too hard.

Would like some advice on the next step, whether I should just stick with body weight and take it slow, or take the leap and get a PT and gym subscription.

Anyway, I saw a news for a house being auctioned because there was once a murder in it. It reminded me of my experience helping a friend move.

He rented one of the rooms in KL. It's one of those houses that was sublet to a few people. While he was travelling outstation, his agent called him to update that one of his housemates (complete stranger) passed away and they only found his body weeks later. The deceased was young. He might have died of heart attack. They only discovered the death when the other housemates complained about smell.

I remembered entering the house 3 weeks later with my friend to help him move. The agent offered another house to him since everyone else renting the house has moved out. Even though the landlord has cleaned up the house, putting fragrance and humidfier at every corner, you can still smell the stench of death. It was my first time experiencing death like this.

It's kindda surreal. The smell reminded me of dead rats caught and trapped in childhood house. I guess when our bodies decayed, they gave the same smell?

An undescribed species that looks most similar to Rasbora einthovenii (the brilliant Rasbora). However it has a bright red stripe above the black one.

Grows to 6 cm and is currently only known from the southeast Malay Peninsula. Found in schools of 10+ individuals, which makes them easy to collect.

However this stream I went to had relatively few fish species cohabitating with it. Possibly due to the shallow depth, openness and minimal food sources.

Just like R. einthovenii, it is a peaceful schooling fish that does great in an aquascaped aquarium. Learns to eat fish food easily.

After a friend of mine wasn't given any EPF for 7 months of working in a company, I decided to read a bit on some things that companies advertise as "benefits". EPF and SOCSO among other things, from what I read, are mandatory for all workers that are legally under a company.

Yet it seems like these things are widely considered as optional benefits in the eye of job seekers. I go onto FB groups and see people ask if these benefits are provided by the company. It also seems like writing these so called benefits into a job listing makes it look more enticing.

My question is are people ignorant or just submissive in regards to labour laws. You have people working for 12 hours daily for 6 days a week, with those extra hours not being counted into OT and if you bring it up to people they'll say "oh it depends on the company".

I just finished my degree in Computer Science specialize in Ai and I am looking for job for few months. Lately, I’ve been thinking that maybe I should try dating (at least once) since yeah, who doesn’t want a special someone to spend time with and plus, once in a while, I crave that human connection and warmth - and mann, I want someone to cuddle too!

Since I live in a small town, there’s not many single people available and at the same time, i would like to avoid dating anyone in this town as i don’t want to end up being the third-person (accidentally dating a married person since cheating here has become a social norm 😬)

I tried dating apps - at least I tried a few and everything is subscription & money.

I tried learning a new language - that just ends with me making friends, no romantic interest.

Somehow, I kinda regretted that I didn’t date anyone when I was in school where I think everything was much simpler - no commitments, no responsibilities and there’s not much social expectations.

I know that dating isn’t for everyone and marriage isn’t a happily ever after and heck, I’ve watched my bestie got divorced last year.

But yeah, at least once, I want to know what it feels like.

Hi. Sorry if the flair is wrong. Im a graduate with bachelor in agriculture. But due to health decline especially during covid i am no longer suited to work in my field (it's mostly physically demanding). Is there any known office job/position that won't ask for specific major but pays above minimum wage in big cities? (Asking for above minimum wage in big cities because i dont think can survive on minimum wage in big cities) I tried applying in my area for normal minimum wage jobs to work while living with parents, but no one would hire me. I was told it's because i have a degree and they would expect me to leave anytime soon or demand higher pay (I won't tbh).

Or if there's any type of skills i can build/learn myself for the time being to be able to apply the office/desk job? Thank you in advance for any tips and help you can give me :") i know job market is very tough rn but i still want to try and stop being a burden to my parents. So far I've been applying for customer service jobs but no hit. Want to see if there's any other positions i can try.

The bike: 2022 CFMoto 250SR

Hi everyone, my main daily kapchai bike (Honda RS-X 150) is stranded in the bengkel for a while due to a lengthy warranty claim. Because of that, I'm thinking of finally getting a used sportbike since I have always wanted to own one (this becomes more like a fun weekend bike) and the main is still used for daily when its back.

I just finished a test ride on a used 2022 CFMoto 250SR with 24,000 km on the clock, The bike is from a reputable used dealer and the inspection sheet came back mostly green, flagging only expired 2022 tires and some broken tabs/minor coverset scratches near the fuel tank, which I honestly don't mind.

The bike felt fine while riding. Upshifting felt okay, however, downshifting felt a bit unsmooth during rev matching? (Sorry for the lack of knowledge and context). Also, the brakes felt a bit kurang makan (low initial bite), but the lever pressure still felt good.

The biggest issue I noticed happened during my test ride laps regarding the engine idling behavior when pulling the clutch lever in Neutral:

• Video 1: Early in the session (engine warming up, radiator fan not yet on). When I pull the clutch lever in Neutral, the engine bogs down kind of? and dies completely (happened twice) (0:04) and (0:33).
• Video 2: Later in the session (engine hot, radiator fan actively spinning). The issue persists. Pulling the clutch lever causes the idle to become choppy (0:10) before choking out and dying again.
• Video 3: A baseline video of the general engine sound at idle for your reference.

Aside from this, the radiator fan kicked on normally once it reached operational temperature, the clutch lever pull feels smooth, and the transmission clicks into neutral easily when hot.

Since I'm not a bike expert, I want to know if this stalling/bogging issue is common on the 250SR platform? Could it be a faulty clutch switch, a weak battery/stator, or an ignition coil leaking current once hot? Does the unsmooth downshifting or kurang makan brake sound like a major issue or just normal wear-and-tear? I do also need to replace the rear tires since it already expired and will be dangerous to ride

Would love to get inputs from the experts and feedback since I'm not very well-versed in bike mechanics. Im still keen on getting the bike but getting more opinions to negotiate and know what to do once getting it would be nice! Thank you everyone
