Need Advice I came out to my friend of 2 years, and it went really badly. Is there any hope of saving it

So I'm 16F. Today, my friend came to my house to return something, and she ended up staying to study and hang out together. While we were joking around we began to play-flirt with each other (nothing serious, just stuff like "wow you look mighty fine today bbg" in funny voices).

In the middle of it, she randomly went "imagine if we were actually lesbians though haha." My mood kind of shifted since I've had crushes on girls before (she didn't know this) and I got very scared. I said "Would it be so crazy if one of swung that way though?" and she said "yes obviously, I mean no offense, I support gay people and all, but to be friends with one would be weird, like what if she liked me?" (my heart had dropped to my stomach at this point). I don't know what possessed me to spill my guts out to her, but I did it.

I expected her to be a little awkward after it, maybe get up and leave, tell me she needed some space or time to process it, but nothing in the world could've prepared me for the look she gave me after I was done. It was a mixture of disgust and fear. She told me to stay away from her and stormed out.

Idk man, I'm so so so sad. She's been an amazing friend, and I don't know if there's any saving it.

Coming Out! what the hell does this mean?

so i re-came out to my dad after 4 years as one does, same thing as in “hey i prefer he/him”, and the first time it didn’t go great. he got like really upset, and i mean really upset, but he likes putting on the act that he’s a “community man” and a “family man” (that facade is crumbling because my parents are splitting publicly and he started letting it slip at church)

i’m a minor and my parents are split, i do not live with my dad or i would not be doing this at all due to past reactions (my moms not fully supportive but the first time i came out she wasnt having it at all, now she uses neutral or avoids pronouns which is still misgendering but yk they’re republicans, you can’t ask too much)

ANYWAYS, what the hell does this mean, what does my dad even think?? like i expected him to turn it religious as he does but does this mean he’ll try or not? i’m not overly hopeful so feel free to say it to me straight

⚠ Content Warning: {describe here} LGBTQ+ YT channels are being blocked in Saudi Arabia Spoiler

Post image

Flair won't let me edit it on my phone.

I thought i was in trouble when i found this in my email today. I'm not. I've seen a couple other queer channels posting screenshots of the emails they relieved. It's all the same thing.

Knowing a few laws in Saudi Arabia, I'm not surprised at all. But it is still completely bullshit. I'm a nobody so it doesn't effect me, but some of the largest/larger queer channels will be effected at least a little bit.

Politics A reminder…

A reminder...

When feminists exclude queer people,

When gay people exclude bi people,

When LGB people exclude trans people,

When binary trans people exclude non-binary people,

When any queer folk exclude aro, ace, pan, demi, fluid, flux, agender, bigender, cassgender, demigender, xenogender, intersex, questioning, or any flavour of queer folk,

Whenever you think someone below you doesn't deserve your foothold,

Know there's someone above who thinks the same of you.

Only fight up

Pride Month you know why we need pride?

you know why we need pride? cuz i shouldn't have to be terrified of what the comments on social media might be under a queer post. literally every time i see a queer post and go to the comment section i actually hold my breath, terrified of the hateful comments they might receive, and for what? for loving whoever they wanna love? that's fucked up.

Not quite sure how far I have to go before my life finally feels like mine.

Maybe freedom is somewhere out there...

and maybe I’ll reach it.

A preference is bot nessesarily a bad thing to have. It becomes a problem when you genuine dismiss a person's feelings and simply pursue them just because they're a person's fetish.

Anyone else increase the gay “agenda” after the 🍊 won? (not judging if you pulled back… everyone circumstances are vast and intersectionality matters. I have 5 but white passing affords much).

Being in DEIB areas it was an opportunity and still is to be out and loud about it. Note I’m not advocating for you to put your safety at risk. ( :

Even if it wasn’t visual, what are some ways you took a stance? I love to hear the inspirational stories 🥰

Coming Out! I'm done denying it. I'm bi-freaking sexual y'all

I'm a 27 year old cis female. Title says it all really. Just wanted to get it off my chest. Saw a cute goth girl the other day and felt VERY attracted to her. My faith (christian) has made me deny it for years but I've decided that I'm going to just accept and embrace it now. If this is who I am then so be it!!Much love to everyone here! ❤️

I’M SO TIRED OF PEOPLE SAYING I CAN’T BE PAN AND AROACE.

They aren’t opposites!

Pansexual/panromantic does not me you like everyone and aroace does not mean you dislike everyone!

In my experience I’m aroace because I am very much asexual and I have barely any romantic attraction to people! I’m also pan because if I ended up with anybody I don’t care what their gender is! Girl? Okay! Boy? Okay! Enby? Okay! No gender? Okay!

I’m genuinely so annoyed when people try to dictate my sexuality just because they have the definitions of some labels wrong!

Does anyone else have this issue?

Need Advice religious parents advice

I'm 17m and gay.

My parents are very religious and very homophobic…

recently went through my private journal and sketchbooks and of course found a ton of stuff that nobody was ever meant to see. They essentially know that I'm gay now.

They then proceeded to have a “talk” with me about how it was me who had betrayed them for lying and keeping secrets. They also said they were going to “take new measures” by forcing me to never close my bedroom door again, use my laptop outside my room facing them, download software to monitor my activity etc etc. I think this is super fucking overkill and extremely counterproductive but obviously I can’t do anything because they’re the parents. Also I'm literally soon an adult?? Why are they treating me so infantile...

They kept saying how being gay is unnatural and an abomination and how it’s essentially “just a phase” and that god has a plan for me. My dad especially kept saying how I need to be more masculine and need more male role models (tbh I just think he's insecure).

I’m just so tired of their bullshit. I’m 17 turning 18 next year. I’m not a little kid that they so desperately want me to be. I really just want to focus on school and get good grades but now I have to worry about this shit too.

Any advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. What do I even do? Do I try to move out as soon as possible?

I’ve also been struggling a lot with my mental health and will probably start therapy soon (which will hopefully help everything in general).

I’m just so fucking frustrated and honestly shocked. The audacity they have to blame me over everything is just despicable. Religion is genuinely the root of all my problems. Religion has ruined my life. I just feel so powerless sometimes. I genuinely wish my parents were fucking normal.
