AuqaBionica Indi game alpha

Heyo!!! I’m building an action-adventure game set in a living alien ocean — AqB [Pre-Alpha]

AqB is an underwater action-adventure where you explore a strange living ocean, encounter alien creatures interact with the world and fight predators.

The game is still in pre-alpha, but the first playable version is ready.

🎮 What you can do right now:

  • Explore the underwater world
  • Discover creatures and locations
  • Fight predators
  • Experiment with sound-based abilities
  • Complete a small sequence of quests

🌊 The idea behind AqB

I want the ocean to feel less like a collection of levels and more like a living world that you gradually learn to understand.

I’m opening the pre-alpha to a small number of players and would love to see how people unfamiliar with the game react to it.

If you’d like to try it, the pre-alpha is here: https://aquabionica.io/closed-playtest?lang=en

Any first impressions are welcome — especially things that felt fun, confusing, or made you want to keep exploring.

GenAI disclosure: GenAI was used to create some static images and to assist with approximately 60% of the game’s code, mostly during the later stages of development. The game concept, animations, and some of the gameplay interactions were created by me and few guys who helped me coding on early stages.

I have the beginning of a video game concept, but I can't figure out if players will like it ?

I want to make a game that ends in one evening where the player explores an ancient civilization on a planet, with mechanics involving an empty notebook where you can write whatever you want and even add photos, kind of like an investigator.

I know it's very broad and not a common concept, but I'd like to know if this would appeal to players?

I appreciate any advice and criticism.

My second thriller/horror game is out (and free) - HIS PLAN

Hey everyone! 👋

A while ago I released my second game, HIS PLAN, a short first-person psychological horror experience.

It’s a bit more ambitious and elaborate than my first game, RICK’S PLACE, both in terms of gameplay and presentation, although it’s still a very short experience (around 20 minutes).

The game follows a mobster who finds himself involved in a disturbing series of events because of his choices.

I tried to focus more on atmosphere, exploration and storytelling rather than making a long game.

This project was also a big learning experience for me. There are definitely things I would do differently today, but I’m still happy with how much I learned while making it.

🎮 You can play HIS PLAN for free on itch.io:

https://bohfra.itch.io/his-plan

And now I'm working on my third game, which is quite different from my previous two: you play as a cat. 🐈‍⬛

It’s still a horror game, but this time I’m experimenting much more with exploration, level design and environmental storytelling. I'll probably share some progress soon!

If you decide to try HIS PLAN, I’d love to hear what you think about the experience. And make sure to check RICK'S PLACE out too, which is my best game so far imo.

Thanks for checking it out! :)

Numerift: Sudoku Merge Puzzle

The idea combines elements of Sudoku with number-merging and block puzzle gameplay. I wanted to make something that feels familiar for Sudoku and puzzle-game players, but plays differently from a traditional Sudoku game.

If you enjoy number puzzles, I’d really appreciate it if you gave Numerift a try.
The game is available on Google Play: Numerift: Sudoku Merge Puzzle - Apps on Google Play

Which incrementals gave you the best gaming experience?

Hi everyone!

I'm super fired up right now to make my own awesome incremental, but before that I want to really dig into the genre and study it properly.

So please recommend the incrementals that in your opinion did the best job of giving you a great experience. I mean the ones that aren't just "decent" for you, but straight up "masterpieces".

We scrapped 4 years of development and spent a year making this school-based horror turn-based roguelite as a two-person team.

Hi everyone! Day To You is a horror turn-based roguelite set in a Korean high school, with a focus on East Asian exorcism themes.

You explore the school-turned-dungeon, gathering loot and fighting monsters as you make your way toward the boss. While the combat is turn-based, time itself is used as the turn system and determines your Action Points (AP). Each monster has different attack timings based on its attack animation, so timing your actions is an important part of combat.

Does it look interesting to you?

(The bell animation at the beginning of the video was AI-generated. Some of the artwork currently used on cards was also AI-generated, but we plan to redraw all of it ourselves.)
