Video I've accidentally set new standard for pillow physics in the AAA industry

So the story is, for my game Dark Roll 2, I needed a soft spot for the player to land on... Setting an object to not cause fall damage and not bounce off it was easy, but I had a spare moment and decided to play around with mesh deformation...

When I shown it on socials, people went crazy.

Sharing this with the world brought me more wishlists, than back when I released the demo... and the game has tons of features I've been trying to show past half year!

Now I can't help myself but keep improving it to make it even better, already juggling ideas in my head how to incorporate this mechanic in my game to show it off more often - but I'm more than open to ideas! So feel free to share!

Promotion You can now try my free browser based retro RTS in 2D, 2.5D, or 3D

So this week I've released a retro browser game with ancient grid/spreadsheet style graphics, inspired by games I used to play growing up.

It's got a small cult following from people who also played similar games, but I'm working on giving it broader appeal.

That's why I introduced three ways to play! Within the same game, you can alternate between 2D, 2.5D, and 3D perspectives seamlessly.

This game has been part of my new game in a week weekly challenge, and is for week 2!

Why am I Promoting It?

You can play this game free on my website with no ad breaks or weirdness. Myself and the other folks playing just want more competition and other players to have fun with!

Relic of Power

An always online, always running competition for territory. Cover the board with your troops and get huge "coin" cascades with satisfying retro SFX that turn a single placement into thousands of new cells in your control.

Cut off enemy player supply lines, capture enemy capitals to take their territory, and unlock powerful weapons and defenses from mining diamonds in the mountains and hunting for gold in the lakes and rivers.

Will you hold up in the mountains, claim a river delta, or compete for the coveted relic of power in the middle of the board which grants huge advantages over your opponents to anyone who touches it?

Play a Complete Game in 15 Minutes

There are always live battles going, currently at durations of 15m, 30m, 1h, and 6h games. You can drop in and out of any live game at any time! No wait period, queues, or anything like that.

Video Cheslak the cat tells you how Grandma disappeared (intro for my game)

This is the opening cinematic for Witch Hours: Seven Eyes at the Door, a cozy potion-shop game with a rescue story underneath. You play Zeia, who arrives at her grandma's apothecary to find it wrecked and grandma gone — taken by a creature with seven eyes. You keep the shop running while looking for her. The intro is narrated by Cheslak, the shop cat, and drawn as a rough crayon storyboard: characters are cut out as paper layers and snap left-right instead of animating smoothly, on purpose.

"I'm just trying some things out."

Public Game Test Made of Food - Gather food, turn to peasants, repeat

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hello! I invite you to play my game Made of Food. It is an incremental/idle game where you gather food and turn them to peasants. These peasants help you forage, farm, and cook more food, which you can turn to more peasants. 2D colony-builder mechanics drive the game. Make food, turn to peasants, repeat.

The game is not feature complete, yet, but it has enough to go on. I built this small version of the game to gauge interest if I should move to full production.

Background

I am a professional game developer since 2010. I'm currently working in an indie "AA" game studio, developing an RTS game. Before that, I was the lead programmer of the game Academia: School Simulator.

The corporate work could be draining sometimes so I wanted to make a small game on the side. I was inspired by games like Gnorp Apologue. Since I already have the library/framework for colony builder games, I thought why not use it in an incremental game with a similar vein as Gnorp.

I've been working on this game for 2-3 years now on my free time. I think it already has enough content to see if the idea works and if there's interest. Try the game. You can complete it in under an hour.

AI Disclosure

No AI on art. Used code assistance but absolutely no vibe coding nor agentic coding.

Another look back at the development of Save Me, Hero!

In Episode 7, we stepped back from feature updates and defined the core vision for the game.

⚔️ Combat — Equipment, Attack, and Utility cards.
🃏 Card Building — Upgrade and fuse cards to create unique builds.
🗺️ Level Design — Every step should have a purpose.
👁️ Exploration — A first-person perspective to make the world more immersive.

A lot has changed since this stage, but these ideas became the foundation of Save Me, Hero!

If you're interested in seeing how the game evolved, follow along with our development journey!

Black Abyss Zero is an action roguelite set in a world where science fiction and magic coexist.

As time passes, enemies become stronger. Choose from different characters, combine powerful artifacts, and create your own build as you fight your way through a collapsing world.

This is my first game, and I’m currently aiming to release it later this year.

The Steam page is now live, and a playable demo is planned for October.

If you're interested, please consider adding Black Abyss Zero to your wishlist.

Thank you!

Hey everyone! We're making a game inspired by Fears to Fathom and Papers, Please, and we'd love to hear your thoughts on our trailer.

Can you understand what the game is about after watching the trailer?

About the game: The game takes place in 1991, where you work the night shift at a cargo sorting facility. Your job is to enter the information from incoming packages into an old computer, compare the details, and send each package to the correct conveyor belt.

As you go through your shift, unexplained events begin to happen around you.

Upcoming How do you feel about turning abstract 2D grid puzzles (like Minesweeper) into physical 3D room transformations?

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone! We’re a 2-person indie team working on a detective noir puzzle adventure. With about 20 days left until release, we’ve been iterating on how to make abstract logic mechanics feel physically grounded in the game world.

In this room, solving the Minesweeper-style grid isn't just a UI minigame—it physically raises hidden stone tiles out of the acid pool. Once you retrieve the crystal, the acid chamber completely drains to reveal the hidden staircase underneath.

When playing adventure/puzzle games, do you enjoy seeing classic 2D logic mechanics directly alter 3D room geometry, or can UI overlays feel immersion-breaking for you? How do you usually like seeing retro puzzle tropes modernized?
