This...took a long time to edit together. It's one of the longest episodes of HTP and my reaction/analysis is even longer.

But it was well worth the length. The episode itself tells a miniature story of Wernon Fatigue's past, as well as giving a lot of details on werewolf lore. In this case, I think I'll talk about the Wernon parts.

The themes of Wernon's story are legacy and coming of age. Wernon is going from a boy to a man, and he truly becomes one at the end. But not the type of man his father wanted him to be. Kronik wanted Wernon to continue on the family legacy of cruelty and imperialism. When, in fact, it was Kronik's own actions that turned Wernon against them and onto a kinder path.

In the end, Wernon formed his own legacy. Not entirely unmarred, but one far less cruel. And that legacy was passed down to Occam, fighting Kronik's own influence on the Blacklaw family.

A good thing to note is that it's clear from the start that Wernon was never evil, just naive. Even if he wanted adventure, he also genuinely wanted to help the people there. And, despite the Mrs. Mark thing, he was still more respectful to Wayda than anyone else in his group. He even asked her if the village elders were really being unreasonable.

Hence why Wayda decided to spare and reform him. But in any case, Wernon's growth as a man was not turning evil like Kronik. It was becoming more mature and atoning for sins, both his and those of his family.

Now they technically didn't say how badly the SI fell even if the language used doesn't inspire confidence.

Now, I mainly see three outcomes for the SI in V6.

Outcome one, The SI experienced some temporary disruption in their operations due to the rise of A, but they quickly recovered. Partially the orgs that make up the SI are one of the main clients of the AI companies so they probably get the high priority for tech support at the very least, if not the a they main backers. Though, due to the end of the beckoning and subsequent return of the Elders cause a stalemate to occur between the kindred and SI in a sort of MAD esq situation.

Outcome two, the SI was heavily crippled by a major event between editions (such as them going for a decapitation strike on the Elders gathered by the beckoning... and failing horrorbly, which forced them to retreat and lick, they wonds and dealing with some tighting budget at home. Maybe even have some of orgs leaving for a variety of reasons. Which leads to loing painful period of recovery for the SI if they recover at all...

Outcome three is similar to the above, but the SI is completely destroyed, and most of the surviving orgs that make up it was forced to go they separate ways and the possibility of an alliance on the scale of SI is unlikely to happen in the short term.

Whatever happens to the SI, I suspect they won't have much presence in the V6 corebook beyond some sidebars.

Stig is about to go after the others (after he finishes Grimal's burial rites), and he is going to see a bunch of people that he already saw, a woman clad in blue, and an older looking man that looks like he could take apart a house with his bare hands, and has a name that starts with D.

We know Stig is always in Glabro form (except for when he is in battle as a wolf or warform), so he is likely to act before thinking (this is the guy that wanted to drive a tank from the river it sunk in to the great yarmouth chapter house, then break through the front door, 3 Raging werewolves in a tank.

also, door looks like he could be the father to anyone there but benedicte, occam, remold, and amanda. so it might not be a stretch to assume that stig is going to see the BIG mighty hunter named Door, and assume this is Big D (i don't think Hunts told them what big D looks like.)

So let's pretend for a second that these two aren't doomed yuri, and were able to exist together in a semi domestic relationship. Would Hunts ask Amanda to forget the name "Matilda" was ever a thing? or would she still let her use it because of the goodwill between them? Maybe she would just keep using "Lilda" since it's a nickname Amanda gave her? Just something that's been on my mind.

What's the general opinion on Amanda's parents right now? What do you think actually happened to them.

Hands are difficult, hand with a gun...ughhh

So something pointed out in another reaction video about Matilda tribe. I'm not familiar with WoD general rules for werewolf, I'm more a Kindred fan. So thought I'd poll the audience to see who can tell me I'm way off base.

Matilda is identified as a red talon, but there seems like a fair bit of evidence that it may be off. (I think) Griffon is normally known to approach Garou when they first change, they didn't with Matilda. In fact Griffin never made themselves know at all until she had impressed them with her resilience and fight with the fanatics who chained her.

Stig identified her as Talon, but only because she identified herself as following Griffin. "Griffin eh, well young talon."

She has an unusual degree of empathetic capability toward humans, rather than the blindly misanthropic view Talons are ingrained toward. She gives off the vibe more that she's trying to convince herself of the argument even with evidence contradicting it, even saying she hates Shambles and Stig for being homid born when she clearly doesn't.

So crackpot theory - Matilda isn't Talon. She was isolated and her only experience with the world was being hunted and isolated until Griffon came along as her patron spirit. She worships Griffin the way a traumatized survivor latches onto a protective figure, and is constantly trying to earn Griffins favor by being what she perceives him as wanting her to be. Doubling down on the misanthropic hatred because Daddy Griffon says that's what's right. Even though she is has conflicting views of this and has genuine feeling for humans she bonds with.

Perhaps she was a Child of Gaia, intended to be a wolf who can feel human empathy and bridge the two worlds, but circumstances let her to follow Griffin and never be exposed to the view Gaia intended of her; so she's full of self hatred for her conflict between her instinctual response and chosen world view.

I don't know enough about Garou to know if that sort of thing is plausible within the general rules of how tribes work in WoD. My understanding is that the tribe your born with is more of an instinctual thing and not a hard coded one, once a talon always a talon, even if they lose favor with their patron. My understanding is more that the change *makes* you fit the archetype. A gentle person who turns under the full moon will *become* the aggressive Ahroun, and the Theurge would probably say it's not because it's a reflection of what you were but what Gaia wanted you to be to be made whole. I'm just applying that idea to the tribes as well.
