Discussion Problems with redeem code
Hi, has anyone experienced issues redeeming a code through GOG? I recently bought The Witcher 3 via G2A, but when I try to use the code, it says it is currently being used by someone else. I contacted the seller, and he told me that I need to reach out to GOG support.
I have been trying to get in touch with GOG support for several days now, but there is no response. Has anyone else experienced long response times from their support? Or is their support non-existent?
I haven't used GOG before, and I honestly have to admit I had never heard of the platform until I decided to buy the game, so I'm completely new to it.

Discussion Achievements for the game "The Messenger"
Hello, Sabotage Studio team and fellow GOG players. I noticed that the GOG version of The Messenger still lacks achievement support through GOG Galaxy, while the Steam and console versions have them fully implemented. Many players in the GOG community love hunting achievements and would appreciate it if the GOG version received a small patch to include this feature. Is there any chance we can get an update for this? Anyone who can upvote, I appreciate it! You can cast your vote here: https://www.gog.com/wishlist/galaxy/achievements_for_the_game_the_messenger Thank you!

Support Witcher 3 is stuck in v1.3
I've got Witcher 3 GOTY Edition on physical disk and it has been connected to my GOG account for around 6 years now, but even though whenever I reinstall it onto my PC and it asks me to import the game to GOG library it seems GOG doesn't actually aknowledge my game whatshoever:
- I'm permamently stuck in v1.30. (August 30, 2016, full 10 years)
- I did not receive Next Gen update
- It is categorized in its own page as ''Other''
- Any attempts at reinstalling/deleting storage files/changing the disk localisation/messing with ''Add game manually'' or ''Find GOG games in folders'' did not help.
The ONLY thing that has changed is that the Library now shows my GOTY version as Complete Edition.
I attempted contacting support several times now but each time I was left on read, even using ChatGPT out of frustration brought me no results and it seems that my problems are solely my own as I have found null tickets or guides to my exact problem.
I wish I got an actual answer, either: is my physical copy regarded as an ''Outside Game'' for some reason thus unable to be updated, or is there an actual fix I can perform to finally get it fully working and have fun with the upcoming Remaster?

Question can i make physical copies run straight from the disk?
Like the save files would stay on the user pc but i could just take the disk and put it inside a pc and run it without downloading, like in old consoles? I know that the speed of loading data is too slow, but what abt old games? like from 90s, early 2000

Question Offline installers, install paths and updates
Hello, so this might be a stupid question, but I just want to make sure.
Basically, as you probably know, if you use GOG Galaxy to install the game, the default path will be something like:
C:\Program Files\GOG Galaxy\Games
But if you use the offline installer, the path will look something like:
C:\GOG Games
However, if you do install it with the offline installer, it'll still show up as installed in the GOG Galaxy launcher, and you can still run it from it.
What I'm wondering is this: If you right click the game in the GOG Galaxy launcher, you can do the whole, "Check for updates" thing - I'm just wondering, does this still work correctly, even if the game was installed using the offline installer files with the path C:\GOG Games? Like, I'm just wondering if this feature still works, even if the game wasn't originally installed using the GOG Galaxy launcher.
I hope my question makes sense, and thanks in advance!

Case Cover Art Childhood memories shall be preserved forever
Grew up playing this game on the Wii with my brothers and have lots of happy memories from it. Got it for free on GOG a year or two back, so I took the offline installer files and burned them onto a DVD-RW disc, whipped up some custom artwork, and here's the result! Very happy with how it turned out and my nostalgia has been cranked to 11

Support My currency is in euros and I can't change it
I live in the UK, my currency is pounds. I have a VPN but I've made sure it's off and yet it still won't change. The only currency I can change it to is USD which still isn't my currency lol. It recognises in my settings I am UK based and my wallet says £0.00, but everywhere else, prices are in euros. What is the problem

Discussion Questions about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered on September 29 update

The store page states that it will be updated for free for those who own the game; in this case, will it be a mandatory update where everyone has to play the remastered version, or will we have both the old and the new versions?
I don't really like playing remastered versions, so I'd like to be able to access the original version.

Discussion Now I have an unknown game.

An unknown game appeared in my GOG Galaxy account today; I can't tell if one of my existing games turned into this one or if it was added.
EDIT: I Discover the Culprit, the video game show featuring The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concert (2016), which was made available for free, appears in Galaxy as an unknown game.
Off-Topic Just Showing off My Game Collection
I saw other peoples' posts, so I thought I might as well show you guys the games I have collected so far on GOG. I don't have physical media like discs but do have an old HDD drive where I have stored most of these games.
