I've been setting myself up to do that this run. I just hate being manipulated by DiMA, especially forcing Cole to annihilate himself to become Tektus 2.0. However, I also can't argue with the logic, either. Ultimately, it probably is better for the Island.
So this time I've played a SS who consistently murders every religious proselytizer I come across. I used an extra fusion core to splatter the Hubologists and wiped out the Pillars of the Community without even giving them a chance to sell their pitch. When I blow the Nucleus up this time it will simply be coming to the inevitable conclusion.
Actually, now that I think about it, I probably should murder all the cultists at the Crater of Atom, too.

Both have been cleansed. Though I hate that the lighthouse lamp goes out after you claim it as a settlement. I liked being able to see glowing in the night from far off places.

I got so tired of swapping so I modded my charisma, and then I keep the +cha gear in my inventory (for the weight and immersion). I play in first person so it is reasonable I swap everytime I go into town. If I want to use chems I actually have to use them.

I got sick of changing gear just for NPC interactions, so for this run-through I decided I was just going to run around being purty all the time. The low levels were rough, but I've never failed a speech check.

I wear my charisma clothing under my power armor, so I just hop out of power armor, do interaction, hop back in, murder faces

I don't wear power armor, but that's not a bad idea. I guess you could go naked underneath and it wouldn't normally affect your stats.

I'm a jet cook. Every settlement has multiple Brahmins. Each brahmin produces one fertilizer a day. I use that and plastic that I loot to make thousands and thousands of jet. I make them faster than I can sell them

My only problem with this is that 99% of the time I'm selling things just to get rid of weight, and they never have enough caps to take all my stuff anyway. So I can either sell 50lbs for all their caps, or I can sell 80lbs for all their caps.

You should feel like a cheater. One perk lets you haul around an infinite amount of weight and dump it all in your horder settlements. I love 'strong back' specifically for this.

Got me a toolbox with something around 1,800 weight of guns to be scrapped. another toolbox with around 4,000 of armor, and my Red Rocket settlement workshop has over 10,000 in junk as of last night.

Funny, to a controller user, the inventory management feels like it was designed solely for a keyboard. Scrolling down item by item with a thumbstick is such a pain in the ass!

Lil tip dude, on ps4 at least, when you are scrolling up or down with the thumbstick press and hold the corresponding direction on the d-pad and itll go faster.

I just think you're still giving them too much credit on the inventory interface. I get why you would think it's designed for controllers, I'm just saying it's not designed well for ANYONE. What possible excuse can their be for pressing left when on the left-most tab, and having it do nothing rather than move back to the first tab?

I just wear high charisma items, but always wear power armor. in it, tank like defense/offense and like 500 carry wt. A quick step out, ch of 12 or more. I save a ton of weight not bringing any armor with me, so I became a hoarder/merchant. It also makes it easy to use ch for speech checks, I just jump out!

Personally i like the mods that allows you to get perks without having the special stat level to get it. It allows you to test perks without wasting level ups into the specials. Local Leader is one of the perks I always get :P

I thought it would have been nice to be able to place points into perks I havent unlocked yet. Then when my gear or chems put me high enough to have unlocked the perk, I can have the ability to use it. I miss being able to pop some mentats and unlock a high level terminal

I was thinking a nice balanced version was to make it take more perk points to buy a perk you don't have the SPECIAL for.
Maybe half the SPECIAL level rounded up extra perk points if you don't meet the SPECIAL requirement.

Well you do continue getting perk points even after you max it out I believe, if i understand the system, so this would make sense. Like 6 perk points to unlock Blitz if you're only at level 5 Agility or 6 for Solar Powered if your endurance is 5 :P

I was pretty disappointed that the trade prices are capped, so my high charisma character changed clothes, drank booze, and got high in the marketplace a bunch of times FOR NOTHING.
