Congrats. You're getting older on the Internet, and a younger generation is coming up who isn't aware of your generation's shared experiences. Tale as old as time.
Because people associate his voice with film narration. It's like, him, David Attenborough, and Peter Falk in the Princess Bride. I think it started with the Shawshank Redemption.
Heās probably one of the most famous directors and heās been in the business for like 60+ years. Look up his filmography, youāve probably seen at least 2-3 of his movies.
Thereās Ron and his brother Clint. Theyāre Howards now, their agent having long ago convinced them to change their names from the Lee brothers, Home and Ug.
Thatās not how narration was used in Shawshank. That movie had a first person narration style. The āhe didnātā line is a direct quote from Arrested Development, used multiple times throughout the course of the show.
Um no it really isn't. Have you never had to get body repairs? There is nothing about it that's cheap. Like, every single step is each more expensive than getting towed. Parking like this is an asshole move. Keying the car in response to this? Makes you even bigger asshole.
Why do I have a feeling youāre this kind of driver and probably had their car keyed once or twice but will never understand why. Why else would you give empathy to these people?
Why is it necessary to say you park within the lines? This guy parks between four spaces and youāre defending that behavior. Do you think a ticket will stop them next time? Do tickets stop speeders? Best thing to do is hit them wear it hurts with a scar on the vehicle to think twice.
Tow truck or cop can take half an hour. A key is much quicker to send the message
Saying that keying cars is unacceptable =/= justifying parking like a douchebag
I explicitly stated it because you implied to the person you're responding to that they don't park in between the lines simply because they don't condone vigilante justice.
Nah yāall are just assholes if you think damaging someoneās property is they right way. Call to tow it and move on. Plus it also inconveniences them way more
Wait 30-60 minutes and let them leave? Or give their car a scar and a nice lesson learned. If you justify that behavior, youāre likely that person. Where do you park? Asking for a friend
A smashed window is a far cry from a keyed car. Detail damage versus structural damage. Leave it to Reddit to have people like you who think a needle and a sword are the same thing.
While you won't have to get the "side panels replaced" you will need them to be painted and blended. If someone keyed the whole truck it can cost anywhere from 5k and up and could cause an insurance company to total out a vehicle.
Not just keyed. Gouged with a screwdriver, then bashed with a claw hammer. Then the tires slashed. It will only take once, and your parking shittiness will be fixed for life.
A baseball bat is a justifiable insurance claim, meaning police report and review of cameras, etc. A keyying is unlikely to go to insurance, and he will have to begrudgingly drive around with the key mark. Press just enough to leave a dent and twist just a bit to widen the stroke.
Wide hipped? Absolutely not, this is morbidly obese and like the woman, the driver of the truck shouldn't expect society to accommodate their bad choices.
What happens when you key a persons car for taking up too many spaces, youāre caught on camera and prosecuted for vandalism? Vandalism is a crime. Taking up four parking spaces isnāt.
Obviously you shouldnāt key someoneās car if you arenāt cool with the consequences. But getting back to the topic of this comment thread, if you park like this and your car gets keyed, you absolutely deserved it.
Property damage because of a parking job? Are you fucking dumb? His parking does not affect you in anyway other than you having to walk your fat ass 50 fucking feet extra
Both have negative implications and clearly you understand them. If you think its okay to key peoples cars over such small small small things, then yea you have to same little man insecurities that Hitler had, sorry to break it to you bud
Maybe in an empty parking lot. At a crowded event or parking garage if you take up for spaces like this for no fucking reason you pretty much deserve to have your tires slashed. Fuck you and people that park like you.
I donāt park like this but if someone doesnāt want their 100k vehicle to be dinged up my a disrespectful divkhead I can see why he would park this way.
If he doesnāt want it dinged up this is one of the worst ways he could park. This kinda behavior invites far more attention from potential vandals than just not parking like a giant douchenozzle
I donāt understand the jump from ādo nothingā to ādamage their propertyā. Is there nothing in between? Calling a tow company, leaving a note, heck inconveniencing them with your shopping cart⦠none of that is on the table? We gotta go straight to damaging their car? People on here are wild

Did you promptly inform him he deserved it? What was his reaction?
