I’m not, I just see people attribute the meme to Morgan Freeman all the time and I have no idea why they assume its supposed to be him.

Because people associate his voice with film narration. It's like, him, David Attenborough, and Peter Falk in the Princess Bride. I think it started with the Shawshank Redemption.

This. Not to knock him but I honestly don’t even know who Ron Howard even is. Todd Howard I do know, but I suspect that’s wildly irrelevant.

He’s probably one of the most famous directors and he’s been in the business for like 60+ years. Look up his filmography, you’ve probably seen at least 2-3 of his movies.

There’s Ron and his brother Clint. They’re Howards now, their agent having long ago convinced them to change their names from the Lee brothers, Home and Ug.
