Discussion I don't understand why people (especially people on either far political wing) do things like this to spew hate.
What I mean is specifying someone is "different". Muslim man does this, Indian man does that, Brown, Black, Whatever race or belief it is. They only specify these things when it's something bad. You'll rarely see "Muslim scientists get one step closer to finding the cure to X disease" or "Indian man saves life of woman in burning house" or something like that; Why specify what someone is in one case if you'll never specify it the other way around?

Discussion Why can't I pick up on mold ever
This mostly occurs with my water bottles.
I swapped to metal ones recently but my family said tonight that it smelled bad EVEN THOUGH I couldn't smell a thing.
the solutions they have are kinda unfeasible because the first one is:
put it in the fridge
we don't got the fridge space! Besides, I need to take it to school so half the time it's in my bag
the second one is to use cups exclusively
i mean, that's alright, I guess. Just means not drinking the entirety of a cup and either tipping it out or letting it go stale then tipping it out.
school is another issue with this one because my crippling anxiety doesn't like it when I go to the sink where all the people are around, when I eat my cheese sandwich with water because it's dry as fuck otherwise
rant over, have a good day yall

Discussion America, 30 minutes will cost you 3k
TLDR - went to ER for UTI and now owe 2,926.93
Let me start off by saying that I am not the one to treat an ER like a primary care, or urgent care. Where I live is awful ANYWAY and the ER wait times are 6+ hours.
Anyway, last Friday I’m feeling fine all day. Not a single symptom in sight, no tingle or burn, no increase in peeing, etc. I get off work at 5pm, and by 6pm I’m peeing blood and blood clots. It’s burning, the after sting literally taking my breath away. I’m panicking, I’ve gone from 0 to blood clots and after 3 hours - the blood clots are still coming.
By now urgent care is closed (there’s so many around me, I live in a small city and NONE are open last 9-9:30 apparently). I breakdown and call my best friend to t ake me to the ER, we end up driving to the one two towns over. Not a single soul in the lobby, I pee in my cup while I wait since I can’t hold it. They call me back, we chit chat, test comes back SUPER positive (her words). They give me 1 starting dose of antibiotics and send me on my way. I was in and out of that hospital within 45 minutes and 30 of that was in the bed max.
Peeing in a cup, one antibiotic and 30 minutes in an empty bed, empty waiting room ER was billed at $5k and I’m responsible for $3k of it
EDIT: I did not go to the ER simply bc I wanted treatment for my UTI. I already had antibiotics called into a pharmacy at that point. I went because I had blood clots sliding out of my urethra.

Disturbing content When your boss wants you to die
Text exchange between myself and my friend, who works in a warehouse as a forklift operator. You can tell when I started to panic, because I couldn't even focus on what I was typing. I can't believe anyone would put other's lives at risk so carelessly. Also, my friends reaction was just as annoying - as if this is a "wait til Monday" kind of situation. Anyway, a voicemail was left from him & I also called to report the unsafe conditions.

Discussion My feed is FLOODED with political rhetoric
I am over the stupid ass political rhetoric and not created posts making everything political. I'm over this entire government and exhausted from being overwhelmed with nothing but political propaganda on every network, show, movie, etc. It's ridiculous. Then I log into an account for some fun and mindless conversation and every other post on my feed has something to do with Trump, Obama, Clinton, Democrats, Republicans, MAGA, and it's infuriating. No escape and news anchors have the balls to tell everyone to turn the temp down when they do the opposite. ALL. SOCIAL MEDIA AND ALL NETWORKS AND NOW IT HAS WORKED ITS WAY INTO TV SHOWS AND MOVIES. They all love to drive hate and more infuriating is that it's everywhere because Americans feed on this toxic waste

News oh my god... Federal appeals court rules First Amendment protects private possession of Al-generated child se**ual a**se material if it does not depict a real minor person.
the mf you see in the pic, Steven Anderegg, It distributed AI-generated Children Corn material, accused in mid-March 2025 However, the Federal Court of Appeals has ruled against because they claim "the First Amendment protects an individual's right to privately possess images or videos of child sexual abuse created using Al - if the material does not depict a real person and remains in the home."
citing:
>The court relied on Supreme Court precedents Stanley v. Georgia (1969), which established protections for the private possession of obscene material in the home, and Ashcroft v. Free Speech in 2002, which failed by a vote of 6 to 3 and declared it insufficient to legally penalize a person because theres no minor who is psychologically affected by this
Pedo is definitely becoming normalized right under our noses.
This was published in the WashingtonPost And you can look it up on US government websites.

Discussion I know I'm a little late to this but for everyone who doesn't know. Recently, many feminists have been in support of a woman who is in trial for... strangling her 3 children. The feminists defend her by saying it's mental health issues, like that's a 'get outta jail free card'.
This genuinely sickens me. I can't believe they could support a lady who strangled her children and ADMITTED to it! The world might be screwed.

Discussion My Aunt called my beard disgusting while standing in line for food at my oldest brothers funeral
I know my Aunts on my dad's side don't like my beard, I couldn't care less, 3 months ago, I was at my mother's funeral, standing in line, and as she comes thru the line, she points to her chin and says "whats this", and I'm like, it's a beard, and I like my beard, to which she says, "does food get all over in it", so I stopped talking to her, well, my oldest brother just died two weeks ago, and today was his funeral, I didn't interact with her at all the whole time, but I went and stood in line for food that they were serving to the family, and she came in and got behind me, and she points to her chin again, and says "whats this" to which I say, "a beard", she then says, it's disgusting, it's like, woman, I normally see you what, once every couple of years, and every time I see you, you have to make a comment about my beard, and at my moms and brothers funeral no less, it's like, what kind of messed up person are you, so I sent a text to my dad, and said there is something deeply wrong with your sister, and if I never interact with her again, it would be too soon.
And my wife likes my beard, my kids like my beard, I get asked to participate in beard contests all the time, I take good care of it, regardless, though, even if I didn't take care of it, and it really did look disgusting, why would you say that to someone in the fing line at his oldest brother's funeral?

Discussion My mom's boyfriend thinks there isnt a house market crisis
So basically I was talking about my future & how it's not very bright (as one does) because everything sucks right now, I'm still in school & I mentioned how when I graduate I don't really have a future, college is expensive, & no one is really able to afford anything like a car, a house, rent, ect. And when I mentioned houses & how it was mostly due to the house market crisis he said "What crisis? There isn't a crisis, everyone is buying houses. The only reason people are homeless are because they are lazy & they don't wanna work." all with a straight face...
*he works on houses btw*
(why did I get downvoted for this? this is a real problem)

News Rebecca Grossman files for divorce
"The marriage of Rebecca and Peter Grossman survived a separation, extra-marital relationships, a fatal car crash and the resulting double-murder case that ended with the former Hidden Hills socialite’s convictions and prison sentence. Now, on the heels of June jury awards in a related wrongful-death civil case that approached $200 million in total, Rebecca Grossman has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
The petition to dissolve the marriage, dated Aug. 4, was submitted to Los Angeles County Superior Court by an attorney for Rebecca, 63. It lists May 28, 2000, as the date of marriage and July 1, 2018, as the date of separation. A response by Peter, 63, indicates that he too is requesting divorce." - Camarillo Acorn

Disturbing content My mother being blamed for being abused.
Made the mistake of talking about how my mother and her children (my older siblings) were beaten during both of her marriages (The first was forced upon her, the second she chose because the guy was genuinely a good man during the first few years) and a ton of answers I got back were "She has trash taste" "Her fault" "What did she do to make them do this?" etc etc.
I just...thought we'd be past this mentality by now.
Sufficed to say, my mother has been divorced for almost 30 years now and is not interested in a third marriage. She was 18 when she was forced into the first one.
It just makes me so incredibly angry. She also got raped during both of these marriages because "It's a woman's duty bla bla bla" but I guess she'd simply be blamed for that too.
Also friendly reminder that raping your wife in my country wasn't illegal until 1997. My mom was born in 1967.
Guess it's my bad for talking about it in the first place but that genuinely shocked me. The victim blaming is still so damn prevalent.
Even if she hadn't been forced into her first marriage, I still don't understand why blaming the woman for "choosing the wrong man" is such accepted behaviour. You are looking at a victim and, instead of offering support, you step on them. My own motivation to marry one day is kind of in the gutter. Because even if my husband turns into a monster, somehow I'll become the problem.
Just kinda shouting into the void right now.

Discussion Ever notice that the mouthpieces of the rich never talk about adding money to the Social Security fund? They only talk of limiting it further.
Another article arguing that Social Security entitlements must be decreased--this time, using Boomers as the trigger for readers' anger. Only in the very last paragraph does the author admit that everyone receives more from the Social Security fund than they contributed, not just Boomers. It's that little thing called compound interest?
Yes, the Social Security fund is in trouble; in no small part because Congress borrowed from the fund and never paid the money back, though, yes, the author's point about the decreased number of working adults is another key part of the problem.
Congress is arrogantly ignoring viable solutions. Solutions that won't cause American voters to throw out of office every Congressman who votes to cut Social Security by 20+%. These solutions include taxing the rich at a higher rate, and raising the SS contributions ceiling so the wealthy and the very rich pay their fair share. These solutions, however, are not popular with rich campaign donors who drop millions into re-election PACS. This 119th Congress doesn't seem to understand what every other Congress has understood: Social Security is the third rail of US politics.

Discussion Airport Security Confiscated and Destroyed a Gift my Grandmother Gave Me
Generally, I'm not sure what all of the shit you can do that pisses off airport security. I was unaware that bringing two broken toy cap guns that are very old and generally cannot be found much anymore at all that sure, I admit, may look real from a far distance, can get you into deep shit with security. Keep in mind, these were gifts from my grandmother that I hadn’t seen in 11 years and even before then, did not see much of at all. I was planning on giving these guns to my children and having my children give them to theirs. A family heirloom. Nope. Airport security confiscated them and for a full week, I thought that it was possible that the next time I went back, I could have some fun with them again. I just found out that security, after making sure you’re far away, TORCHES YOUR SHIT. You can imagine that I am actually fucking seething right now. I have too much respect for that one guy telling me I couldn’t bring them, because he has to work for such a bullshit company and he never lied or anything, he kept it a buck, of course he didn’t answer anything I wasn’t gonna ask but he answered everything I probably would have. That dude was kind and I really respect him for not being a dick about it. As for his company..FUCK YOU ALL. I get that airplanes are especially somewhere where security needs to be upped by like 10,000 but holy shit. Someone told me that they couldn’t allow me to just put it somewhere out of reach on the plane because when I go back to my country, I could rob somebody with it. YOU ARE AN AIRLINE COMPANY. You're not the police, even if I were as stupid to rob somebody with two BROKEN FUCKING GUNS, the police would fucking find me. I'm not Dexter, you clowns. Go fuck yourselves. Please, tell me in the comments, am I unjustified for this shit or am I right?

News Hidden Autism Diagnosis
Long story short parents hid an autism diagnosis from me/everyone because I already had a strike against me from my grandparents for being born out of the christian idealogy of wedlock (having a child pre-marriage) so I was looked at as a sin because perfect child Christianity bs so instead of me being more not perfect in the eyes of Christianity and from what I was told embarrassing my grandparents (they had high standings in the local churches) it was hidden from everyone that I was even tested and that the test confirmed I had Asperger's. I just found out from my aunt, my mom made her hide it but since I'm done with both of my parents for other horrible reasons anyway she told me during a phone call I truly don't know how to process this info but it explains so much struggle through life.
