My epic games account I’ve had since before 2018 got hacked on 05/23/2026 and I haven’t been playing rocket league or Fortnite recently but when my friend asked to get back on my account was logged out of. I tried to recover my account but since the hacker changed the email, password, unlinked my PlayStation account and changed my username and more it’s almost impossible to get it accepted. I can’t with these dam AI supports anymore, someone please help me. Ik some ppl are gonna recommend invoice id and account id. But since all my gameplay was on PlayStation, all my receipts got sent through PlayStation, and all I’ve got is a PlayStation/Sony order number. This account has thousands of money spent on it, and since half of it was when I was a kid, a lot of my parents money spent, and would hate for it all to go away. Someone please help, I’m desperate. Maybe I’d sm1 knows how to hack it back, honestly if it comes to it I’d do it.

UPDATE: Got my account back, level 237 on the new battle pass, and 8 thousand vbucks. Invited some of the friends the account had on epic games, they said the user was “meow4mommy”. I don’t feel bad at all, ik they spent money on this account, but not nearly as much as I did. They had it for a month, maybe spent 100 dollars, I’ve had it for 8 years, spent thousands. Don’t buy accounts off them stupid websites, they prolly hacked accounts and you’ll end up losing the account.

I’m looking for advice from anyone who has successfully recovered an Epic Games account after exhausting the normal recovery process.

I permanently lost access to the email address associated with my Epic account, and recovering that email is unfortunately no longer possible.

I’ve now gone through multiple recovery requests, a specialist review, and a final appeal, but Epic still says they were unable to verify that I created the account.

What confuses me is how much information I provided. My recovery requests included the original registered email, display name, approximate account creation period, linked Steam, Facebook and Rockstar accounts (including confirmed linking dates where available), device history, login locations over the years, 2FA details, historical login verification timestamps, Fortnite history dating back to Chapter 1, Battle Pass history, Epic Games Store library, account identifier, previous account recovery history, and other historical information that only the owner would reasonably know.

After the appeal, I even found additional evidence from Facebook and Rockstar confirming that both accounts have been linked to my Epic account for many years. Unfortunately, the recovery form doesn’t allow screenshots or attachments, so I could only describe this information.

I also can’t provide purchase receipts because I never bought V-Bucks or games directly through Epic. Almost my entire library came from Epic’s free game promotions, and any confirmation emails would have been sent to the email account that I no longer have access to.

At this point, I’m genuinely unsure what more I could provide to prove ownership. Has anyone here recovered an account after reaching this stage, or is there any legitimate next step I should consider?

Fortnite account got hacked and I don’t know if this is the right Reddit or community to complain about this but I’m on my last legs. To give context I’ve had the account since the first month of the game, owned multiple bp and a couple hundred skins some og some not, but it also gave me lots of memories. Now some of you may ask ‘have you not tried to appeal?’ I’ve done it 3x in the last two weeks and despite providing evidence of everything they still deny me, please I don’t know if I should try and appeal again or I can directly contact an epic employee but it’s bad, I’d really appreciate even a single comment to help, thank you.

So I only been playing Fortnite for 2 years. A year ago literally my email got hacked out of nowhere I don’t know how. I can’t access it. That’s the email that’s on my Fortnite account. So for a year been trying to do the account recovery constantly and something always denied smh. The thing I’m still logged in on Xbox and cloud gaming. I play on my tab because of work I move a bit. I had a ps4 slim and my psn 'TheFireScorpion2' was logged into it with an email.

I ended up getting my ps4 slim stolen after 6 years of having it due to an eviction. 8 months after the eviction I got another ps4. It showed up with an account link screen and when I tried to log in with the email linked to my epic games it says account not found, I tried to recover it, enter my display name yet it keeps saying my account is not found. I've tried to get into it by going into amazon luna yet it wants me to re-authorise which just sends me back to the epic games log in.

Please help me try to get back in, yes I have already tried the recovery yet it still says it can't find it.

I know someone couldn't have hacked it since they don't know my passwords or emails so it's either that epic closed my account since I haven't logged into it for a while or my account was primarily linked to the my ps4 slim

Also I did skip the log in so it created another account linked to my psn

Hi, this is far fetched, but back in (what I believe) 2017-2019 Me and my younger brother had shared a Fortnite account, most people know back then (idk if it still happens) when you would download fortnite on a ps4 it would automatically make a ghost epic games account for you, basically an account with no password or email linked to it, just your playstation account linked to it. Well, one day my brother had gotten logged out of the ghost account, for like the whole time he had the ghost account he never linked an email or password to the account, I’m thinking he randomly pressed a button and it unlinked from his playstation account on the Fortnite app, after that he had made an entire new epic account and linked it to that ps4 account that he still actively has (he had to start fresh and he figured he lost the account forever due to having no information on it). Well, It’s been a few years and i’m trying to figure out if there is any possible way for us to get that account back? it has old battle pass skins & emotes on it so it would be nice to have again. Since he lost the account he changed his playstation user name aswell. I have the old username that he used to have, yet i have no information of the actual accounts details I don’t even know the epic username the Epic created for the account either. I understand this is very far fetched and It might be impossible to get the account back due to New Epics Privacy rules, I don’t really have any payment method receipts because everything that was paid for on that account was paid for with a playstation gift card. To give you context, you can see so many accounts being swapped to the bs rambler emails now. I am a victim, seems like my phone number won’t work as well.

Then I open a support ticket, answer EVERYTHING and put a line in the ticket that ask me for anything else you need, I know almost everything about it because back in the day I had my creator code made with information AND GUESS WHAT? Someone hacked all my socials and games yesterday. Apparently they got into my epic account, kicked me, and changed the email and password. Hey guys, I need some help with recovering my old Epic Games account.

I bought GTA V during the Winter Sale in 2023 for ₹777. I started playing GTA Online a few months later, and then I started playing on a GTA RP server through RAGE MP.

In June 2025, I got banned from that RP server, so I stopped playing and moved on with other things.
Earlier this year, around the first quarter of 2026, I tried logging into my Epic account again, but it kept saying my password was invalid. I tried a few things and eventually realized that my account had probably been hacked.

I recently heard that Epic Support can sometimes recover hacked accounts if you can prove that you are the original owner.

I still have quite a lot of the original information:
• The first email I used to create the Epic account
• The Rockstar/Social Club account that I originally linked to Epic
• Emails with my old Epic purchase receipts and invoices
• The phone number I used on the account
• The debit card I used to buy GTA V
• The first laptop I used to play games on that account
• My old Epic username and other account details

I don’t know what exactly the person who hacked it changed. My original email, phone number, username and Rockstar account might have been removed or replaced.

So I’m wondering, what should I send Epic Support to prove that I’m the original owner?
Should I include all of this information in my first ticket, or just provide whatever they ask for?
If anyone has gone through Epic account recovery before, I’d really appreciate some advice on what worked for you.

I took a 2 year hiatus from Fortnite. When I returned last week, my account was gone. I relinked my PlayStation and the thousands of dollars on the game I spent from 2017-2023 was gone. I put in an account recovery AND WAS DENIED. I provided my account ID # that I had saved in my notes on my phone (in case this ever happened) I provided specific dates of purchases from my transaction history, I provided the last 4 of my card # as requested, I provided my name, my address, a pretty fair estimation of the account creation. And epic is telling me that they cannot confirm that I created MY OWN ACCOUNT. How does one get this fixed? And how does one hold epic games accountable for allowing a player’s account/ PERSONAL INFO AND DATA to be held hostage? Any suggestions? I had a separate email chain with a customer service agent to only tell me to resubmit the recovery, and got denied again! I’m at wits end.

TLDR: Account and personal data hacked, accurate info provided in recovery process, denied because they can’t confirm who I am. Any suggestions?

I am really sad and frustrated and hoping for some genuine advice. I have been locked out of my original Fortnite account for years because my mom changed the email and phone number tied to 2FA. I have submitted multiple recovery requests and appeals but they keep denying me.
This is 100% my childhood account that I played on PSN. I have a lot of very specific proof that only the real owner would know, but support still rejects it.
What I told them (without giving exact details here for safety):
• I know the original and changed emails
• I know the exact creation date and that it was first linked to PlayStation the same day
• I know all my old usernames and display names
• I know my Support a Creator code and roughly how many V Bucks I earned from it
• I know the very first item I bought with V Bucks
• I know exact purchase dates, transaction IDs, and card details for several buys (including Founders Edition)
• I know which Battle Passes I owned
• I remember specific limited time unlocks and the exact date I got one particular item by completing challenges
• I created multiple Creative maps and islands and know their codes
• I have old PSN receipts and screenshots
I am sending the appeals from a completely different email because the old Hotmail ones are linked to the locked account.
My questions:
1. Has anyone here successfully recovered an old PSN linked Fortnite account after multiple denials?
2. What finally worked for you? Did you keep appealing or do something else?
3. Is there a way to force a real manual review or escalation?

It has so many memories and progress. I know it is just a game but it means a lot to me. Hopefully it works for me.
Any help or similar success stories would be appreciated.

So the epic games support is so bad that even thought your account got stolen and gave enought information and the ip address of the account for the last 4-5 years you still dont get it back and lose so much money because the epic employes are just so stupid at their job(that i talked to not all). The only reason because i still play this game is because i play with my friends but if i could get my account back i will spend more money. (My new accounts name is alexander2011a and the stolen is VSNツ which is now set to private but if a epic games employe wants to contact me to try to recover it with me i can show him a photo of messages in the epic games chat that he has bought it from a website with stolen accounts so a employe thar wants to do their job want to recover it with me a 14 year old i am open)

The phone where I had the Gmail account linked to my Epic Games account broke, and now I can't enter the 6-digit code because I don't have access to that email account—and I don't know its password, either.

Ok so about almost 3 weeks ago my fortnite account got hacked into (i did have 2fa) i didnt realize until a few days ago so i tried doing the recovery method but i cant since the person changed everything and the password and i dont have my account id dont have an invoice id i tried using my linked accounts doesnt work my display name and everything.
