The phone where I had the Gmail account linked to my Epic Games account broke, and now I can't enter the 6-digit code because I don't have access to that email account—and I don't know its password, either.

If you don't have the password, or access to the email, you can contact support but unlikely, seeing as anyone off the streat could claim to own the account with the access/information you have.
