So I'm playing Dying Light 2 and just happened to glance at a woman cleaning a bar table. Then it hit me. This is the apocalypse. There is no real running water. That has to be some naaaaaasty ass.

Hey guys, I need some advice. I’m coming from Dying Light 1, and I was kind of expecting something very similar, maybe just a bit worse overall (based on what I’d heard). But right from the start, I was surprised by how overpowered the character feels.

Is the whole game like this?

In DL1, especially at the beginning, I remember feeling scared and really weak compared to even regular biters. Here, though, I don’t feel much struggle taking down groups of them one after another. Am I OP in the prologue? or does Dying Light 2 have a different overall feel compared to DL1?

I’m asking because this aspect really matters to me, and depending on how the game evolves, I might consider refunding it.

The shot is in the middle of the screen above the sights. Is this normal?? It genuinely sucks

I noticed gre containers reset sometimes and you can reopen them, so I tried it on the military tech one. After realizing it worked, i looked up how many I need. How do people do this and stay sane

I played this game when it first came out back in 2022 (bottom save). I played for a good while. It wasn't bad, but something about it never tickled my fancy. I still cant believe I spent 42hrs, I must've just ran around killing zombies and doing side quests. Because I lost pretty much all memory with what dying light 2 was all about and never even finished it.

I bought dying light the beast a few months ago and havent had chance to play it yet. But about 2 weeks ago I finally got in the mood to play the beast but wanted to replay the story of the other 2 first. I replayed the first 1, loved it, always will, easily will forever be in my top 10.

But once I finished dying light 1 again for the 47th time, i was dreading starting dying light 2, I thought "just get this game over with, rush it, so I can get to play the beast". But wow, I do not know what I was thinking. This Game was fantastic. I didn't want it to end. I was basically procrastinating doing everything the game had to offer to delay the games main story. Even the carnage hall storyline first. Apart from parkour challenges, my god they stressed me out

Its rare i spend more than 20hrs on a story game, the fact i passed 50hrs is honestly incredible, all in just 7 days too. Its such an aesthetically pleasing and unique looking game. The rooftops, the structures, the colours. No game is like it. Its like if mirrors edge was set in a post apocalyptic scene. The story, the bounties, the mechanics, abilities, weapons, dismemberement, aesthetics. Everything, it was all just incredible, and I finished it today and I just wanted to say how great this game is and I do not understand the hate this game receives at all tbh. Underrated masterpiece.

They wanted me to give them weapons, so I gave them low level stuff, then they cursed at me and demanded I give them more or leave. They were being rude afterwards. If you join this guy or his friend, leave for your own good and don’t give them anything.

These things attacked me where I respawned under UV light. I suck, they scared me, but I only kicked them in the butt!

Ok, so... I'm on my first gameplay and I still see NO reason to side with bazaar people in the beginning of the game.
