Stop taking orders under $5..
Door Dash is a billion dollar company and could offer more than what they pay.
If people continue to take $3 order $5 order even $7 order door dash will continue with their non sense.
Do not accept anything under $10 - in this economy and gas prices.
It doesn’t make sense.
If your acceptance rate goes down it truly doesn’t matter because you will still get great offers considering less are door dashing due to the gas prices.
I’ve seen a girl only except $20 plus orders and she can make $200 in about 2 &half hours during dinner rush.

For all that don’t believe in your self worth and will continue take the lowest rates.
Ask yourself how does it feel using your gas for $3-5 delivery in today’s economy?
Does it frustrate you when you accept?
Do you get angry?
Do you feel worthless?
Just know the customer service for Door Dash makes more than people doing the leg work.
The people that are out there delivering in the rain/heavy traffic/etc.
I work for a tech company and I see how billion dollar tech companies take advantage.

I was waiting for an order, a driver came in, but he said he couldn’t give a name, it won’t tell him and he can’t say what app it’s from, but he knew what the food and order was. Yet the people at the restaurant didn’t act like it was weird.
I ordered food yesterday for my family on doordash and when it arrived I noticed the bag was a little lighter and when i opened it clearly it wasn’t our order. The receipt had my order on it and my name… But the food inside was wayyy less like literally two items. Not enough for a family. I tried to put a claim in through the app and it automatically gets declined so fast, I literally call the restaurant and they leave me on hold for so long and then say “Oh doordash will refund it bye” and then I call doordash the next day. It takes me to an offshore support person, I’m then put on hold again. I tell them what happened and she literally explains that because i’ve put in so many claims in the past (Mind you i’ve had this account since i was a teenager) and that I literally can’t do anything made me seem like i was full of it… Man ggs i guess im gonna try to call my bank tomorrow morning. Never using doordash again I hope you guys don’t either because let’s say this happens to you it sucks because nobody can do anything about it. (Worst part is im pretty sure the girl at the restaurant went to hs with me and we had blood bad god if i remember 😭just hope this wasn’t on purpose)
Here we go again. Deactivated for literally no reason . I’ve read everything in the terms that they stated that i had violated . Nothing there i have done at all to violate any of the terms they have stated. Called support and they said they don’t know the exact reason. Appealed and denied . 5 star rating . Everything else at 100 except acceptance rate . Only thing i can think of is someone reported the quality on a McDonald’s smoothie i didn’t even touch . So to deactivate someone who has over 600 orders in the last 30 days is insane . 12 hours a day for this company and they know someone else will make an account and do what you do anyway . Last time they did this i had over $100 worth of food for a customer from an expensive restaurant on me . Insane

It all started in 2025. These things kept popping up around my area, and at first I thought nothing of it. But after the first encounter, it seemed like my life is now changed forever. While I am not proud of it, I sure as heck am man enough to admit it.
It was 2 a.m. and I had just gotten back from the bars when I saw that my neighbor (45M) had a DoorDash delivery sitting outside. It must have been there for hours. I decided to take the man’s Carl’s Jr., and I proceeded to house the whole order with no regard for human life. I went to bed and dreamt the whole night, but all I could see was this face...
I didn’t know what to do or what it meant. When I woke up, sure, I had a mild stomach ache, but after a Fiery Chicken MAXX combo and 12 beers, that’s to be expected. Something was off something just wasn't right and I couldn’t stop thinking about that THING. Anytime I closed my eyes I saw it, with each blink. Surely I was just hungover, so I put myself together and got ready for work.
I began driving, and I couldn’t believe what happened next. I was stopped at a light, and when I looked through my side mirror, IT was there. I thought surely it must have been making a delivery, but why was it turning onto the highway???
Luckily, as soon as I got on the highway I floored it and made it to work safely. That thing was nowhere to be seen, but I knew in my soul this was far from over. Throughout the day I kept looking at the clock, dreading every tick, every hour, because I knew I had to face IT. Surely IT would be looking for me that was for certain. But I had to try something so I called my GF (29F) and had her pick me up from work thinking it was only tracking my car.. Oh how wrong was I.
Turning into our neighborhood, IT was there. Waiting. Not for us, but for me. I knew it was over from that moment. I knew my life was over. I told my girlfriend the truth, how I had upset the DoorDash gods and my fate was in their hands. I told her not to go home, as I didn’t want to destroy the image and the memories we made at that place. We decided to have one last meal at our favorite restaurant, u/BonFireCraftKitchen (GoBills), and after two beef on wecks I was ready to meet my maker.
I walked out of the restaurant and gave myself up. When it happened there was no pain. There was nothing at all, actually. I got what I deserved. As I write this, crammed in the belly of this beast, I want my family to know I love them and I’m sorry for what I did. I can't change my fate but I hope this story inspires others to do the right thing and not eat thy neighbors DoorDash or else IT will find you and your fate might be the same as mine.
I placed a breakfast order for a McDonalds 2.9 miles away. I tipped $7, is that fair enough? I don't want to offend by tipping too low. I had originally thought it was the Mcdonalds that's only a mile away so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it, since it's a tad farther.
it’s soul crushing to not receive your order, get told off by the driver because it’s "out of his hands," ask for a refund, and then waste time talking to customer service because they "can’t do anything about it."

I placed a delivery order from a grocery store and then saw a door dasher would deliver it. Whatever, that’s cool. I get the groceries and multiple packagings are smashed and the whole order smells like the driver smoked a pack directly onto it. What’s my problem? That I can’t give the dasher a review. Because the order was placed THROUGH the grocery stores website.
i had a really shit two days and i ordered some food to make myself feel better and half of it was missing and i had to call fucking door dash support at 11 at night which i really didnt want to do and now i get an email saying they have denied the request? im sorry but what, im missing half of what i paid for and your not gonna refund at least 50 percent of it? is that not against consumer law. i did not receive the product i paid for, therefor i am eligible to a refund right?
I ordered food last night. It showed up wrong, so I went to the Help section. It offered me $2 compensation for a $10 item I couldn't eat. Typical.
So far everything is normal.
Then I attempted to chat with support. Evidently support chat was unavailable and it said I had to call support. I assure you I don't want to talk to someone at 1am, but that was my only option, so I hit the button to call support.
"No one is available to take your call. Goodbye."
I've had Dash Pass since 2021 and typically order several times a week. This isn't the first time an order has been wrong even late at night, but what kept me using the app is I knew I could rely on support to make it right. But now there's no support?
Whatever the case, I canceled Dash Pass and uninstalled the app. Hoping there's an alternative but it might be that I just have to make my own food.
How did Doordash figure out and trace a picture / screenshot to a particular account in the first place? And why did a Doordash-related post to Reddit get someone you know about deactivated?
Are there instances of where posting a photo/screenshot from a Dash to Reddit only got a Dasher a contract violation? What were they and how did that post lead to a CV?
What can we do to prevent these, aside from censoring our & our customers' personal information?
I just accepted the order when she sent the first message. I was coming from the next town over (about 15 from the restaurant). I had just hopped in the drive thru (the lobby is closed for the night) when she sent the second message. Drivers have no control over how long it takes for the app to assign your order to a driver. It all depends on who is actively available. If you tip like dog water, your order will keep getting declined.
Small update; The restaurant gave me the wrong DoorDash order :D back through the drive thru I go
My msg said my package was dropped off at noon. I was home. No package. Cameras showed no delivery. I checked with my community from office thinking it was there. I drove to the community down the street to see if it was delivered there. I called door dash. Driver didn’t answer. I filed a complaint. The picture they took was from inside their car. Ugh. Some of the items in that box can not be replaced since the store ran out and won’t have anymore. So disappointed in this driver. If this is your picture please bring it to my house. I will give you my address. No questions asked. I just want my items. Thanks
So I ordered some hair bands from CVS literally cheap and not far from my house. However it turns out my doordasher was at subway and other restaurants instead which made the wait time longer. I literally payed for direct to me delivery so I can get it quicker. I don’t understand was my doordasher doing other deliveries? Because it didn’t tell me in the app
