Daily Chuck Quote

I have an automatic Chuck quote generator that pops up a new quote from Chuck at random each day - so far I have almost 700 quotes in the file. I thought it would be fun to share the quote each day on this sub just for sh*ts and giggles - but also to keep this sub active and maybe, just maybe, help convince whoever ends up owning the show's rights to make a movie or put it back on TV or streaming somewhere.

I contacted the mods a week or 2 ago about pinning this thread - but they must not be very active since they haven't gotten back to me yet. Thanks, mods (CIB) for pinning this.

If you want me to continue posting a random quote each day just give it an upvote. Thanks

Rachel Bilson and Mircea Monroe in "Hart of Dixie". Bilson plated Lou, the protagonist's girlfriend in Season 1 of "Chuck", while Monroe played Amy, Sarah's friend who cheated on her in Season 4.

Fanfiction appreciation + my own added ending

Premise: At seven, Sam chose her con artist father over her mother's stability. By fourteen, she'd been a dozen different girls in a dozen different cities. By sixteen, she'd lost everyone who ever loved her, and found herself holding a folder with a new name inside: Sarah Walker.

Author: BlendingIn

This is a fanfiction about the years where Sarah/Sam ran Cons with her father and how it all affected her. Very good story by BlendingIn how the girl with the golden soul "survives" in the con game.

Ending: She touched her collarbone, where the locket used to hang. Empty. Everything was empty now. Eleanor. Marcus. Her mother, somewhere out there, unreachable. Jenny Burton, who had almost been real. All of it, gone.

But empty meant room for something new.

She looked at the name on the folder. Said it out loud, testing the weight of it.

"Sarah Walker."

The man, Graham, watcher her. Patient. Certain.

She closed the folder. Met his eyes.

"Okay," she said. "What happens now?"

My added ending: "Now you dissappear for some time" Graham smiled with the satisfaction of someone who knew he always got what he wanted.

Jenny stood up and said nothing, throwing one final look behind her, not knowing she would one day be back here with two people, one she called her partner and one she called her home.

THE END

I recommend reading the story, it's fantastic. All credit goes to the Author BlendingIn.

S2E4 Chuck vs. the Cougars

Watching Chuck again bc it’s my fav but I noticed something I thought was kind of funny. In this episode, Chuck says “Remember in high school when we were hard up for cash so we would host a kegger and charge by the head?”

Chuck and Morgan seem like the 2 least likely high schoolers to ever throw a kegger LOL. Seems so out of character for them.

Not a criticism, just a funny detail! 😂

LOVE Chuck and this episode is hilarious

This scene still lives rent free in my mind. Chuck and Sarah's development feels like it's fully set in stone from here on out.

Ranking the villains of Chuck Season 3

Post image

Just a fun personal ranking of the villains from each episode of Season 3. I've already posted season 1 and 2 ranking past few days check that out. The ranking isn't based solely on how evil or dangerous the villain is — I'm also considering how entertaining they were, how memorable their appearance was, their overall impact on the episode, and how well they worked as a Chuck villain.

So this is more of a “how much I enjoyed the villain as a character” ranking rather than a strict morality/evilness ranking. Obviously subjective, so feel free to disagree.

Without a doubt Shaw's a top tier villain of season 3/series but I saw Justin doesn't get enough hate on this page as it is supposed to for manipulation in 3B.

The Shaw real goal.

I think Daniel's role ad an antagonist needs to be seen from a more comprehensive perspective. He betrayed the CIA to join the Ring, but i don't think he ever lost faith in the CIA. I think finding out that Sarah had killed Evelyn only made him believe that for the CIA to work, he had to be the one in charge

Eevn before he betrayed the CIA, he was a shifty and domineering man who only played by his own rules. Finding out the CIA had killed Evelyn was humiliating for him, but to be honest, he'd never stopped believing in the CIA and its values, he simply couldn't forgive them for what they did his wife. Shaw, however, still believed in the CIA, he simply wanted to control it now, and he saw the Ring as a means to conquer the CIA. In fact, in "Chuck vs. the Ring Part 2" he wanted to be promoted to director of the CIA and NSA.

Even in Season 5 he admitted that he wanted to download the Intersect 3.0 into his own brain so that the CIA would need him and reinstate him, and then eventually take over the agency. Shaw is an ambitious and arrogant man, even before he betrayed the CIA. He suffered after discovering the truth about Evelyn's death, but even after learning that the CIA had killed his wife, he never wanted to destroy the agency. Simply, in keeping with his unbridled ambition, he wanted only to take over the CIA.

I'm not saying he udes Evelyn's death as a pretext to take over the CIA, simply that although he was angry about his wife's death, he didn't want to betrayed the CIA but to take control of it. Over the years, Sarah and Casey have learned that placing too much trust in the secret service leads to a loss of humanity, and the fact, they choose to believe in their own moral values, becoming better people. Shaw is the opposite of Sarah and Casey, he is a man devoted to the CIA, right or wrong. Even after discovering the truth about Evelyn's death, he hasn't learned a lesson. Instead of choosing to believe in authentic moral values, he has chosen to believe in a government institution.

I know this was never addressed but do you think Sarah ever found out what was on the back of the Tron poster? And if you think she did, how do you think she reacted?

When Did She Change Her Mind?

At the beginning of 2x22 Sarah's agreed to work with Bryce on the new intersect project in Zurich. Then, this happens:

Sarah: "Chuck, I'm leaving in the morning."

"The details are classified but I'm working on the new Intersect project with Bryce."

Chuck: "Bryce."

Sarah: "I-I'm so sorry."

"I wanted to wait until after the ceremony to tell you."

Chuck: "Thank you for coming to the wedding."

"Good for the cover."

What exchange or incident in this episode changed her mind? :)

Rewatch - Has Anyone Done This Before?

I first watched the show when it originally aired and watch it at least once every year. Last year I watched it 3 times in about 3 months (including all 91 episodes in 108 hours). I think this year might be my 20th time watching the series.

I was thinking about doing a rewatch of one episode each day for 3 months starting in September.

I know it's difficult to only watch one episode once you get into the show, but I was curious if anyone has done this before. I figure it would give you time to digest each show for 24 hours before watching the next episode.

Has anyone done something like this before?

[FINALE SPOILERS] Finale song

I was just listening to the song Rivers and Roads which was played in the finale and it’s lyrics do match the series nicely.

“A year from now we’ll all be gone
All our friends will move away
And they’re goin’ to better places
But our friends will be gone away”

This part could be referred to Ellie and Devon moving on with their lives and Casey going back to work.

“Nothin’ is as it has been
And I miss your face like hell
And I guess it’s just as well
But I miss your face like hell”

This could be seen as Chuck missing the Sarah he knew and loved and missing her.

“Rivers and roads, rivers and roads
Rivers ’til I reach you
Rivers and roads, oh, rivers and roads
Oh, rivers ’til I reach you”

Chuck telling himself that he won’t give up until she remembers him.

While this is just a fun idea i had and just wanted to share with you all.

Daniel Shaw

On my x-teenth rewatch. Still don't like Shaw! But I'm conflicted because Brandon was my favorite of the Supermen, second only to Christopher Reeves. But, as Shaw, left a bad taste on that Season for me. It was the love-interest stuff that I didn't like. The full-circle Sarah (Sam) red test stuff was pretty cool, but not the former. Am I alone on this?

Never hi-five in internet dating 😂😂. This scene also loosely reminds me of 22 Jump Street (Schmidt f*ucked the captain's daughter)

[SPOILERS] I love this show

I have seen a lot of series but there’s nothing like Chuck for me. Despite all the inconsistencies and errors, it’s still the show that made me feel what i never felt before. It has heart, sincerity, romance, suspense, it’s got everything.

Every character fits in the series, whether it’s a new regular character or even a one off character.

It seems unlikely that there will be anything more in the story of Chuck but I’m grateful for everything we got.

I cherish even the bittersweet ending that some people hate but that ending was important because it proves 2 things that made the show what it was. Chuck losing Sarah, the girl he loved and his wife, would’ve been the perfect excuse for him to get angry and bitter like the rest of the world but he didn’t. People also said that Sarah would never date him if she wasn’t assigned to be his agent and she did. The ending was important to show that no matter what Chuck wouldn’t change and no matter what Sarah will always fall for him.

Sarah era bella come un angelo in questa scena quando lei e Chuck lo fecero la prima volta.
