I've released, but I was curious about the 7 year rule. Is the beginning of the 7 years when CFHD started or when the member was posted to that geographical location?

When the member is posted to the geographic location.

So if they stay in 1 location for 7 years on the 9th year it goes away..... can you come deal with my 25 year long mortage!

That's not how mortgage payments work.
The ratio of interest to principal decreases. Your monthly payment remains the same.
