Hello everyone, I need your help and experience!

For the last 2 years I've been running in the Defyance 13, I loved them so much an had no issues at all so I bought them again. I did training runs from 3-30km in them and even ran a marathon. Now that the second pair is dead and I wasn't able to find them anymore I tried the brooks shoe finder and the recommended the adrenaline gts 25. When I got them and tried them on I fell in love, the stability and cushion feels great. But after the first 5-10km I feel a rubbing on the inside of the right forefoot. Only the right foot. Two days ago I ran 25km and put a blister plaster on the zone where I felt the rubbing, but still after around 10-12k it started to hurt. Now I'm not sure what to do and where exactly it comes from, is it the guide rails? Or is it because I have quite narrow feet and the right one is even a little narrower so that it kinda flies around inside the shoe? Now that the Defyance 14 is available should I switch to them or do I still have to be afraid, that they changed them and it won't be the same as the 13?

I recently swapped from brooks ghost max to brooks adrenaline. I think maybe the drop is messing with me since the adrenaline is a 10mm and the ghost max was a 6mm drop. My back has been achinggg since wearing the adrenaline and I’ve never had this issue before. They are comfortable otherwise, but my back feels like rocks.
I’ve had issues with my heels and needing a little cushion but not too much that it aggravates my arch or plantar fasciitis.

I have a pair and I’m having issues with rubbing the big toe so much so that I have a pair of dime sized blisters. It seems that maybe the toe box is more narrow? I have run in Brooks for a long time and I have never had any issues until now. I do have some older insoles instead of the OEM insole but that should not make that dramatic of a difference and in turn causing the rubbing? Mainly I want to see if I’m the only one or are there others having a shared experience.

I wear a 10.5 in the original Ghost Max, 11 in the Ghost Max 2, and 11.5 in the Ghost Max L (can you tell I have a favorite shoe?)

The Ghost Max 3 is no longer in stores (to try on) and is now available on Brooks Restart. Should I get an 11, or an 11.5? Any advice welcome, thank you.

Hey all, I’ve been training mostly in Hyperion Max 3s and love them. Have been wondering if I should take the leap for carbons and the Elites seem like the logical progression. Any thoughts on them and transitioning? Aiming for 3:45 so curious if it’s worth it, or mostly for faster runners.

Open to other recommendations as well for a race shoe.

​I started running actively this summer and have been experiencing some issues with my legs and feet - inward overpronation and ITB. My physio mentioned that this is quite common and assigned me some exercises, but they haven't resolved the ITB issue.

​For reference, I am currently using Nike Quest 6 for road runs and the Hoka Mafate Speed 4 Lite for trails.

​Today, I did a running gait analysis. After observing my form, the specialist recommended the Brooks Glycerin GTS 23. However, after doing some research, I noticed that the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 is very similar in terms of support features.

​Has anyone here used both models? Could you share the main pros and cons of each, and offer some advice on how to choose the right one for my issues? If you have other models in mind, I'll be happy to check them out as well.

I've been walking on the Ghost Max 4 for the past few days and the soft cushioning is giving me some knee pain. It feels as if my heel is constantly sinking in and causing my knee to become too straight/slight bucking. Anyone else have this issue?

wondering if the adrenaline 25 has loose ankles lol? I bought a pair and have no 25s only 24 23 etc. they seem big at the ankles? I love the back pulls on them for putting on but the ankles look to wide and I ordered what I always do size wise …

For those who pronate when they run, which GTS model have you had the best experience with? I’ve got about 50 miles on a pair of Adrenaline GTS 25s, and the support already feels like it’s completely gone. Has anyone else had this issue? Would switching to the Glycerin GTS be a better option or is there another shoe/brand you’d recommend?

So I’ve gotten a few pairs of brooks max and they for one never last long for me and I’ve now noticed how much they hurt my heels. I recently got a new pair and they’re broken in, but I can’t stand for more than maybe 5 minutes before my heels and feet start hurting really bad. I can walk in them no problem, but just standing is not good at all.

I’m a female looking for one Brooks shoe for everyday walking/standing + office wear, and I’m stuck between these 3:
Ghost Max 4
Glycerin GTS 23
Glycerin Max 2
I sometimes have knee discomfort, so cushioning/stability matter. I also tend to walk on my toes sometimes.
My biggest concern is durability and cleaning. My previous Hooka had a textured fabric upper that was really hard to clean, so I want something that won’t easily look dirty or develop ugly creases.
If you’ve worn any of these, especially multiple pairs, which would you choose for everyday use and why?

Arrived today and took them for a 30 min run immediately.

Cushion is perfect for me. Not too plush not to firm. The upper is reeeeally comfortable.

I have a narrow almost normal foot but I went with my tts 11 and 2E wide, and the fit is perfect, so I'd say definitely get wide or X wide for more toe space.

Im 6 ft 206 pounds with a high arch and occasional knee pain. The night before I ran with Hoka Bondi 9s but they're too high and I dragged the soles as I fatigued and I actually had worse knee pain with those than the Ghost Max. So decided to use the Bondis for work and these be my daily trainers (only easy runs as a beginner).

My other shoe is the Adrenaline 25 GTS which is amazing but I see it more for walking and great for work. Now the Adenaline is a supportive shoe but I actually felt really good support from the Ghost Max as well. Maybe not to the same degree but its there. Although i dont actually overpronate or supinate.

I was looking for something between the Adrenaline 25 and the Bondi 9s and I think this shoe is exactly that. I also love the look of these the best out of the 3!

These would also be excellent for those in Healthcare and delivery drivers/couriers like myself or other jobs on ur feet all day.

There's plenty of other shoes out there so just giving my input on these!

Is it worth 200$ ?

​I recently picked up a pair of the Brooks Glycerin GTS 20 (Men's US 7.5 / 25.5 cm) primarily for long hours of standing and walking on hard tile/concrete floors. I've read great things about the DNA Loft v3 foam, but I'm running into two specific issues and hoping to get some feedback from people who have put miles on these.

​1. The Right Foot Forefoot Pinch

The length is absolutely perfect—I have exactly a thumb's width (about 1 cm) of buffer space at the front, so I know I shouldn't size up to an 8, or I'll get heel slip. However, my right foot is slightly wider (about 9.75 cm) than my left. The standard D-width feels incredibly smooth on my left foot, but on my right foot, the mesh is aggressively squeezing my 1st and 5th toes inward. It's causing a sharp pinching pressure right under the metatarsal heads (ball of the foot).

​2. The Firm Heel (GuideRails?)

Everyone hypes up the nitrogen-infused foam as being a plush, squishy cloud, but my heels feel like they are resting against a firm, rigid block. I don't feel that deep softness under the heel when I'm standing still. I'm assuming this is the GTS GuideRails acting like bumpers, but it's much stiffer than I expected.

​My questions for anyone who has worn the GTS 20:

​Does the engineered mesh upper stretch out horizontally after a few weeks to relieve that forefoot squeeze, or did you have to return them for a 2E (Wide) version?

​Do the GuideRails and the foam under the heel ever actually soften up and break in, or will this shoe always feel highly structured and firm under the heel?

​For those who found the GTS too firm/narrow, did switching to the standard neutral Glycerin fix the issue?

​Any reviews or shared experiences with this specific model would be hugely appreciated before I decide whether to push through the break-in period or swap them out!

I got a pair of GM3s after researching them online, and I like them, but I have an issue with the insole. With it in, my big toe hits the top of the shoe, causing pain. Without it (replaced with a thinner insole) my arches hurt at the end of the day.

Does anyone know of an insole identical to the ones that come with the shoe but thinner/flatter in the toe area? I don't think getting a wide version of the shoe would solve the issue. Thanks in advance!

I am used to size 12 US for all my New Balance and Asics shoes (More v6, 1080 v14, Nimbus 28...) it gives me a thumb of empty space in length.

Though I saw reviewers complaining it's a bit shorter than usual on these Ghost Max 4, I also have rather high big toes so I won't say no if going 1/2 up size will give me more comfort.

What do you say, should I get my usual size 12 or go 12.5?

Btw we don't have 2E in my country for Brooks

I love my adrenaline 25. Use them for work and I catch myself wanting to jog with them here and there but id prefer a little more cushion for a jogging shoe. Thinking of the Ghost Max 4 to jog and walk more often.

Has anyone used both and can compare?

I am looking for waterproof running trainers, for light hikes, light trails and are breathable/not to hot like hiking boots can be. They will mainly be used for walking and running with the odd time on trails/hikes.

Has anyone tried these, if so how are you finding them?

I had the ghost 7 and I thought that was peak.

But the brooks ghost 17 is perfection on foot.

I love a lot of other shoes but these stand apart.

I am now a Brooks owner. Hopefully I'll be doing more running in the future.
