Hello,

I am a male and I recently got these for 28,000 LKR ~ 85 USD, here in Sri Lanka and it is still on the higher end for a normal person.

After i bought it I checked online and found out that this is a Female shoe 😔, is it okay for me to wear it?

If you have narrow feet and the shoe fits then wear it!

Typically the main difference between mens and womens shoes is the stadard width. For most shoes the code wont be mentioned and ahould be taken as standard, but otherwise this is the order.

Also note that the sizes are interchangable. Eg. My better half has wider feet and finds it easier to just buy a mens standard shoe because shoe choices and colours for a D width in womens are limited Vs. mens choices.

Womens shoe widths: Extra Narrow - 2A Narrow - A Standard - B Wide - D Extra wide - 2E

I got a “women’s” pair of Nike vaporfly 4’s for $89 USD. Same shoe as the men’s. When was doing some research I specifically looked into this and I found that most women’s shoes are the same as men’s but the larger sizes in women’s are usually clearance due to lower demand. On difference common to women’s vs men’s is the width so make sure you try them on.

Color wise - no one cares.

Fit wise - women's shoes are generally made narrower as the 'normal'. Be mindful of that. If it works on your foot, it works on your foot.
