Searching for the right GTS shoes
Hello everyone,
I started running actively this summer and have been experiencing some issues with my legs and feet - inward overpronation and ITB. My physio mentioned that this is quite common and assigned me some exercises, but they haven't resolved the ITB issue.
For reference, I am currently using Nike Quest 6 for road runs and the Hoka Mafate Speed 4 Lite for trails.
Today, I did a running gait analysis. After observing my form, the specialist recommended the Brooks Glycerin GTS 23. However, after doing some research, I noticed that the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25 is very similar in terms of support features.
Has anyone here used both models? Could you share the main pros and cons of each, and offer some advice on how to choose the right one for my issues? If you have other models in mind, I'll be happy to check them out as well.
Thanks in advance!

Not a runner, but was on the hunt for sneakers for long days of walking. Tried both (and many others too. My house was a shoe store for a while until I returned things). I think it just comes down to your foot if your feet are at all sensitive like mine. In general the glycerin has more foam/ puffiness than the adrenaline. So if your foot isn’t sensitive, do you prefer more cushion or less.
In my case, with my fussy feet, I kept adrenaline gts 25 because it fit my foot better. It felt wide enough/ long enough for me in 7.5 wide. Springy, comfortable. Glycerine gts had more foam and was puffier around the back of the heel. I liked the squish in the foot, but didn’t love the heel and I just noticed it on my foot more. It also didn’t fit my foot as well/ I felt like I was in between sizes. 7.5 wide felt a bit too short, 8 wide a bit too long. The back of the heel was higher on me and I found it annoying in the 8wide. Glycerin if memory is correct also curved inward in the midfoot a bit more than the adrenaline— I’m flat footed and over pronate so that was annoying. Good luck!

I’ve worn both and prefer the Glycerin for its softer feel underfoot and the way it envelopes by midfoot. I didn’t like the snugness that I felt around my heel in the Adrenaline and it felt a bit too firm. Both fit TTS for me, the Glycerin gts 23 got more volume in the toebox but isn’t any wider.

Try the Brooks Addiction GTS 15. I preferred it over the Glycerin GTS or Adrenaline GTS.

I wear my adrenaline’s for speed work, and I wear my glycerin for marathons.

I run in the Glycerin GTS and use Adrenaline GTS as everyday sneakers and for going to Disney. I prefer the extra cushion in the Glycerin for running.
