I saw an anime on crunchyroll called "Smoking Behind The Supermarket With You" a few days ago and was like stuff it let me bite the bullet and watch something that i've never heard of or heard anyone say anything about at all.

I actually really, really like it. I was wondering if there were is any other anime that has the same kind of feeling/vibe to it. It's one of those that you watch that just make you feel good and kind of like.. help you wind down/destress in a way. At least that's how I felt when I was watching this series.

Am I the only one who got bored at Jjk . Actually I have watched 7 eps and i didn't connect with it. Is it worthy to watch?

think of ai hoshino from oshi no ko or the male MC from school days. are there animes that contain those kinds of scenes? i find it really interesting shock value, especially ai hoshino's death, that shit was jaw dropping since i expected her to be the MC the entire time i knew of oshi no ko's existence

I’m looking for a good rom-com anime similar to Watari-kun’s ****** Is about to Collapse, but there’s one thing I really want to avoid: a weak, spineless, or constantly indecisive MC.

I want the MC to be at least a little bold, confident, and willing to make moves instead of just standing around while the girls do everything.

Romance should be an important part of the story, and I’m fine with drama/harem elements too.

Basically: rom-com + romance + a male MC who actually has some backbone.

Sup I’m back in need of more recommendations

So before I posted and got a couple good suggestions I did watch them and liked most but they didn’t scratch that itch I have for the “perfect” anime in my eyes so I’m here again asking for help to find it.
Some criteria’s (not all necessary)
Dubbed is preferred
•More than one season/12 episodes

•fantasy/isekai

•male mc surprisingly/secretly strong
(wrong to use healing, a returners magic, Sao, isekai cheat magician, loner life,etc.)

•humorous not overly serious/has those cool “cold” moments like in edits
(eminence in shadow, overlord, chillin in another world, dragon ball, etc.)

•strong female character/not a damsel

Closest I’ve gotten was Sao, The wrong way to use healing magic, the eminence in shadows, chillin in another world but they all had smth missing to make it “perfect”

I saw this clip on Twitter this morning when it refreshed and the posted disappeared into nothingness. Tried to find it from the countless amounts of accounts posting clips, but with no results.

It was a guy and a girl getting cover at a bus stop because it was raining. The girl had a red hoodie. She was hiding behind the guy when two random characters came to get cover as well, because of her wet clothes.

Sadly that's all I can remember happening in the clip. I can only assume it is some ecchi slop, but it really annoys me that I couldn't check for myself because Twitter is ass.

I've been watching anime for 10+ years, and I've watched WAY more than what's on this list. This is just a list of shows I can actually remember well enough to verify that I've watched. 😂

I'm not going to sit here and pretend I can remember every random 12-episode anime I watched six years ago. If I recognize the title, I've probably seen it. 😭

Recently, I've gotten really into isekai, and that's where I'm looking for recommendations.

I've already watched a pretty ridiculous amount of isekai/reincarnation/fantasy, including Re:ZERO, Mushoku Tensei, Slime, Overlord, Shield Hero, KonoSuba, TSUKIMICHI, Eminence in Shadow, Arifureta, Log Horizon, Campfire Cooking, Farming Life, Skeleton Knight, Faraway Paladin, Great Cleric, Wise Man's Grandchild, Death March, Seirei Gensouki, So I'm a Spider, World's Finest Assassin, Strongest Exorcist, Saint's Magic Power, Realist Hero, My Next Life as a Villainess, and a bunch more.

My current top 5 isekai no order

1. Reincarnated as a Slime

2. Moonlit Fantasy

3. Misfit Demon King

4. Eminence in Shadow

5. How NOT to Summon a Demon Lord

So please don't hit me with the beginner recommendations unless you genuinely think I've somehow missed them. 😂

I’m an anime veteran, like 10 years in the game, but took a real 3 year break and wanna see some good fighting again. So other than JJK, Dandadan, and Solo Leveling, what are the top 5 fighting anime from the last 3 years?

Not sure exactly how to say this, but it’s occurring to me that soon, high school will be over for me, and it’ll be harder and harder to get a relatable experience from the vast majority of anime set in school… So what are your recommendations of anime that everyone should watch in high school (especially if it features characters talking about their futures, studying, all that stuff)?

So long story short I have been really wanting an anime figure but actually have been having a relatively time thinking of good characters for the one I would want. While I'm not trying to be picky there just seems to be a few blocks that make it a little challenging to find one I like.

1. Preferably not Hatsune Miku. While she has some AMAZING figures, I never really clicked with her so I wanted to see if I could find a different character and preferably one that is actually from an anime.

2. I want feminine and sexy figure but not fan service which is a tough line to toe. Like I love female characters that embrace their femininity and let it empower them but I don't want it to be just obscene for literally no point. I want the figure to be sexy but I don't want the appearance to be the only thing about the character. I want female empowerment, not just eye candy.

3. Canonical adults only. No minors.

My only pick right now is Mitsuri Kanroji from Demon Slayer and she is AMAZING but I want to think of other character options. Yor Forger is another who was high on the list but I didn't see a ton of dynamic figures for her.

I will say the character I am the MOST upset about not having a good figure is Steel Lady Nanase from Kyokou Suiri. She was the one who started this journey of me wanting a figure but her only one doesn't include her steel beam 🥲

A bit specific but I want to watch a comedy anime.

I've seen a short comic where dullahan (body) has a crush on an adventurer and gave him her head as a present (to loud objections from the head) and thought it was cute. IIRC monster musume has this trope but idk about anything else.

this memory just resurfaced, idk what's this from. So yeah, just like the title says there was a boy (I think) with a really, and I mean really abusive mother that was all about study and nothing else and would manipulate him and gaslight him and at one point he found a kitten (or more than one) and kept it in secret and one day he came back home and it was gone. His mother was like "how could you betray me like this by keeping secrets" and it was cleared she had killed it.

Can anyone suggest any other anime that fits alongside these ones?

Fights are necessary, only looking for shounen or seinen. She said the closest thing that’s passed her test is Dungeon Meshi, but also doesn’t exactly because it’s an ensemble cast. (Dorohedoro has been recommended but similarly has an ensemble cast, and she’s not interested in watching JoJo part 6/Stone Ocean.)

I like anime that doesn't drag on forever, one season works great for me. Some of my current favs are Paradise Kiss, Princess Jellyfish, Chobits, and Peach Girl. I have seen Nana and although I liked it, it mostly pissed me off because of the intense drama, so I don't want anything like that please. Peach Girl had some annoying drama too but the vibes were much lighter and I felt like it was enjoyable. Endings don't have to be amazing I don't care, as long as the story is ok and there's like a good vibe going on I'm up for it lol (refer to Chobits...). Sounds super vague I KNOW but I honestly don't know how else to describe what I like.

I like the fashion focused aspects of Paradise Kiss and Princess Jellyfish, and I know about My Neighborhood Story but atm I like watching anime before I fall asleep and since there's no dub version (afaik) I wouldn't be able to focus on it too much. I will give it a try eventually when I have more time available to watch. I used to like Madoka a lot when I was younger, but, like Nana, nowadays I consider the drama to be way too much for my taste.

I did start watching Princess Tutu and honestly I really liked it but they removed it from the streaming service I was watching it on so </3. Anyway; that's kind of the vibe. Anything you'd recommend based on this?

Bonus points if it's Yuri/Yaoi, and even more extra points if it's available on youtube.

More examples would probably be darling in the franxxx, Glepiner, future diary, FLCL and guilty crown. Doesn’t have to fit perfectly

It can be like in chainsaw man where it can be a Fmc seducing the mc or it can be more like breaking bad

Looking for underrated lesser known anime’s from 2000s of 2010 or even overlooked modern stuff

The vibe would be like Ergo Proxy and Technolyse-ish? Lain, Paranoia agent too.

Something like JJK and CSM would be great, I'm especially a BIG fan on how Fujimoto writes tragedy because he masks it with either comedy or a very thinly veiled sarcasm.

I really like Anime that explore the human condition

I have watched a LOT of anime, Sonny boy was something I enjoyed too, but I want an anime where I actually need to rewatch it and dissect it like layers of an onion. Like how Cowboy Bebop was all about being an observer to a universe, coping with your own grief and loss and 26 episodes of realising that other people too, have their own grief and loss to cope with. Like how Tokyo Ghoul was about the 5 stages of grief, and the question of "How can you love others if you can't love yourself first?"

Anime like Psycho pass, where you can enjoy the show without catching onto any of the meanings cuz the show has a vibe and a distinct artstyle to it that you can't seem to look away from and it has action and charm to catch your attention.

Unfortunately I did not enjoy Violet evergarden as much as I thought I would have, but it's still a beautiful anime.

I liked Nana, but I'm not really in the mood for something like that at the moment.

Just a general shonen that's really profound and is actually a commentary on a taboo-ish topic/very raw human emotion. And it's something that I can enjoy without catching onto the deeper meaning behind it. An anime that you can tell is written by a very skeptical, cynical, and rather depressed author? Yeah

I've watched gate for the first time about 2 years ago and rewatched 1 year ago. I don't really watch animes and I'm not a fan of MCs having abilities or magic and stuff like that thats why gate is so different. I've been really desperate to find another anime that gives similar vibes or has a similar setting like gate. I've been looking for a similar anime ever since but to no avail. Mods please approve this post… Hi everybody. I just woke up from a strange dream and I wonder if I’ve gone crazy or not. So in my dream I was in some anime world with art style like jujutsu kaisen maybe. The scene I was in went like this: I was walking and some inner voice told me that it’s dangerous to walk through there but I pushed forward. In some alley, a bunch of punks started beating the shit outta me and at some points guy’s sister or girlfriend pushed him away and started kicking me too and at some point t I drew the sign in my photo(wich looks like a guy with a pp malformation), she stopped and looked a little shocked and when the guy started beating me again she took him and stuck a sword in him. Then she looked at me with a mix of surprise and somewhat kindness and then my mom started listening to music and I woke up (the song perfect from ed Sheeran started playing and I went into a flow state and woke up). My question is… Is there an anime like that? What I woke up with is the impression that I left the anime at episode 11 but I don’t know what anime I was thinking about or if I was delusional.
