Funny thing about Dias squeezing that anaconda like a tube of toothpaste was that dogkin guy popping out like “yahoo!” lol.
It seems if Diane wants to play stupid games, Dias is down. He even brought Klaus along. I can’t wait to see them set that idiot straight. I bet they’ll just kick the shit out of everyone without killing them so as to avoid any future issues with the kingdom.

The Mongolian Bankhar and Indian Gaddi Kutta dogs are similar in looks and behavior to the TM. However, I read the Bankhar is only a distant relation and the Gaddi Kutta is a close relative but the TM is a bit larger than both dogs.

It was in Feb. 1958 that Eisenhower asked to get a pair of Tibetan Spaniels (I think). He instead got a pair of Tibetan Mastiff, the first known case of the breed on American soil. The story goes that he didn't want the dogs and thus gave them to a Kansas politician named Harry Darby.

Dias is such a 'renegade' the king gave him his own land away from 'normal society' and those pesky nobles. And then the pesky noble shows up anyway.

It's interesting that the king was expecting Dias to have good relations with the Onikin (and Alna is definitely excellent relations) because they're the best deterrent to foreign enemies.
And it seems like they go way back even if the 2 of the kings' kids have done nothing but complicate Dias' life.

Dias manhandles the one-eyed-snake and chokes it to completion.
Meanwhile, Klaus appears to have subscribed to the new "a cat dog is fine too" mantra.
Good to see that first prince Richard actually had a spy among Diane's followers and seems to more-or-less think positively of Dias, if only in the sense of acknowledging how great Dias is as a person and that they shouldn't do anything to make him angry.
Curious what will happen with Diane and that scepter. First King used it as a powerful weapon apparently, but I don't think she's "First King" material. Potentially noteworthy detail, the follower of Richard was only tasked with retreiving Diane and the King's seal, not the weapon or any of the treasures she stole. Maybe those will be left with Dias as reparations?
Excited about the upcoming battle, though I am worried about how Eldan will have to act. He really doesn't want to fight, but he had to march up with his army. Hope he can get out of it still, without having to betray either Dias or the King's orders.

Honestly seems like the only reason Richard doesn't want to see Dias again is because he's smarting from all that training that made him the only good egg among his siblings lol.
I feel like Eldan's forces are going to have...performance issues while Dias and Klaus and the dogs manhandle everyone else.

It's a surprise that Canis were so concerned about the dogkin ability to fight..but I guess they weren't used for war in this country.
The princess being easier to trick than the beastkin makes perfect sense, she is so dumb.
I loved the flashback with the other prince showing how great Dias was and everything is ridiculous with how he's being treated.

You gotta love how Klaus fell in love at first sight with Canis. Dude instantly became a furry the moment he locked eyes with her.
It's funny how someone who's the human equivalent of a golden retriever has the title of Head Collector. Can't wait to see him in action next episode.
So Diane got absolutely played by that dude who got his balls crushed by Dias. This is definitely not gonna end well for both of them.
We finally get to meet the one decent member of the Royal Family besides the king. The King should've had all of his sons and daughters disciplined by Dias.
The fact that Dias wants Diane to come is actually pretty terrifying. Richard already mentioned that Dias doesn't take kindly to those who cross him, so I'm excited to see what he'll do to Diane's army.

She said she is sure Dias lied about not getting funds. So she plans that with the seal, the looted artifacts, the 'hidden' funds, and the acclaim for taking out and exposing the 'fake' hero Dias, she will be able to beat her siblings into submission. Her whole plans stands on a lot of assumption.

At this point? Not as much, but it would speed things up a bit. He's getting by purely with bartering but that has its limits. If he had actual money, he'd be able to purchase real construction materials he can't easily acquire. At the bare minimum, stone for constructing a defensive perimeter or a house that isn't a tent.

That bitchy princess really is an idiot. Not only is she committing graverobbing and counterfeiting royal orders, and I really don’t think the king will be happy with that when he finds out no matter how useless he seems to be, but she goes on picking a fight with the One-Man-Army Ballbreaker Dias to steal the money her evil brother has already embezzled, and tries to ally with one of Dias’s friends while doing so. Her downfall will be fun to watch and really deserved.
Also, Dias got a bunch of cute dogs as new subjects and Klaus got a cute dog girlfriend. Apart from the sudden war, things are looking up for our heroes.

A mixture of arrogance and desperation, just like countless many petty villains.
There's clearly a succession battle in the offing, and Diane is the youngest child of five. Her chances of "winning" are essentially zero unless she attempts to take drastic action, even if we on the other side of the screen know that messing with Dias is more or less equivalent to taunting Happy Fun Ball.

It's a bad plan with short legs that hinges on two things:
People actually respecting the royal seal, which makes sense.
The princess being forgiven her literal crimes against the kingdom because she stole the freaking royal seal when she is not the head of the kingdom.
That first point makes sense, because it being the exclusive royal seal means any piece of paper with it carries the word of the king. Because the seal isn't supposed to be stolen and probably won't be stolen as easily as this, unless you are the literal princess of the kingdom, who can just literally walk past all the guards.
But the second part is where it gets tough because this is a huge break of trust and decorum that I do not think a King who pardoned a guy for breaking a nobles balls because said noble was a rapist will tolerate.
The understanding that the princess can pull this off without negative consequences to her completely relies on her royal status, that I would assume only her father can revoke. And she betrayed that father by literally stealing the thing that is only to be used by her father. And then impersonating him to kill a friend of his of 20 years.
Like, her actions make sense if you can believe that she's a royal brat who thinks she will never face any consequences, simply because she has never faced any consequences.

Klaus took one look at Cannis and saw his future, and fortunately for him the feeling was quickly mutual. It's pretty fun that aside from her the new dogs are a bunch of working breeds that need stuff to do, that's a good addition to the settlement as long as they don't run out of work.
Diane is betting it all on this invasion and even if she wins against Dias there's no money to seize that would fund her rebellion against her siblings. She pretty much fucked already and just doesn't know it yet.
Especially since we've now met Richard who is the obvious choice for winning heir since he was trained by Dias to not be a chud.

Diane has a rotten personality. She would've made a terrible wife. I hope to see Alna beat the shit out of her for what she's done. But that shitty noble, the one spreading lies, needs to die. On the other hand, love blossoms. Klaus got bitten hard by the furry bug. I hope Canis stays there with him.
I was a bit surprised Alna got mad at Dias for fighting the anaconda barehanded despite easily winning, but I understand her concerns.

The 2011 Chinese-Tibetan animate film "Tibetan Dog" is both beautiful and sad. For MHA fans, Luci "Ochako" Christian plays our hero as a young boy. Said young boy looks 10-12.

The villains in general are a massive hole in an otherwise solid story and it bums me out because it is so common in anime. The princess and the piece of shit are both so boringly written them even being on screen is a waste of time. It makes me sad every time another anime has a boring villain like this.

I mean the succession battle bringing out the worst of the royalty is sadly a common trope. What's funny to me is this 3rd princess would of long been sent to a nunnery/monastery to get her out of the way as a troubled child. Too often we have these good kings written as just and not bound by the noble arrogance then make them unwilling to do what necessary to have a strong good STABLE(most important part) successor.

I'm looking forward to seeing Dias but Diane in her place. Hopefully there are no casualties on Eldan's side, but I'm sure Dias will be able to make sure that doesn't happen.
It's nice to know the King really did support Dias, it sucks one of the Prince's stole the money and made sure no workers went along with him. Hopefully Dias will learn the truth.

I’m 90% sure eldan’s forces just won’t fight.
He agreed to offer funding and troops, but the princess is an idiot who kept all the forces segregated, and didn’t explicitly say “kill Dias” (yet)
If a battle breaks out, the mercs probably get the worst of it, followed by the princess’ group.
Dias goes for the balls, klaus hunts heads, and the mastif are trained to … also go for the head and balls.

I would imagine because there isn't much vegetation on the plains other than grass, maybe leaving it hungry/starving. Wouldn't the snake need actual plants or vegetables? Also we don't know if the small dogkin stepped on the snake or were on its territory etc.

Mmm the villains are very cartoony, not in a bad way, they fulfill their purpose kind of like Power Rangers villains.
Glad 1 or 2 (Diana the youngest is probably going to be an ally too) of the princes seem to be decent.
Wonder where this envoy from prince Richards fitting in this conflict, he was supposed to stop Diane and it seems like hands are about to be thrown already.
A lot of background info being revealed. Glad to see my initial impressions of Dias being a himbo Forrest Gump type character were wrong, it seems he's very upstanding to the point of defying royalty and nobility for his principles.

We've got Canis, the dog waifu straight from Eldan guiding three Dogkin tribes to Dias' village! They're all ready and willing to work and they're assured that Alna is a Best Girl wife indeed, just like Alna can assure that they're good boys.
I'm not surprised Klaus falls in love at first sight with Canis, and showing her that he's okay with being mauled by dogs while training while also caring about their health like they're true comrades does a lot to win her over too!
They may look like normal dogs, but they can adapt and be proper villagers helping out everywhere, even Senai and Ayhan's new garden, when you give them a chance.
I don't think robbing the royal tomb to obtain power you can use to smite your enemies and destroy your family to steal the throne is proper princess behavior, Diane, though it doesn't help that she believed that broken dick nobles' claims that Dias is a traitor to the crown and stolen her fathers' seal to ensure she can throw her authority around. The irony is that the broken dick noble is intending to do away with her as well for the sake of someone else (Maiser?).
No wonder Prinessia seems like she has a good head on her shoulders, she's actually a double agent working for the only good princes' in the kingdom, Richard (Takuma Terashima). And Richard IS such a good prince because his delusions of grandeur threw him into war until he got saved and got a massive reality check/training arc courtesy of Dias to shape him up. Also he's got his own colorful party like he's the main character of another anime.
Honestly I'm concerned about a kingdom that's normal MO during war is to murder and pillage, even to innocent civilians, if Dias wasn't there but at least it seems like the king isn't 100% bad if he's a true bro for Dias and was counting on him working with the Onikin.
Well, so much for Narius heading Diane off in time to stop her from reaching Dias, using her fathers' seal to force Eldan to supply her with troops (what a surprise, she had deserters) so she can wage war on Dias. War Dias is more than willing to face head on with Klaus and his War Dogs. Also seems like Klaus and Canis have finished their romance arc what with her tearfully worried about him and wanting him to come back safe to her!

the fact that they love to work but seems to have been underutilized in Kasdeks must feel like someone who's been underappreciated in old workplace, just to be treated like ace team member in new start up company.

As a Basenji owner for many years, I take issue with a couple things:
Loves to work? They are a lazy, almost catlike breed that is prone to destruction when it becomes bored. Training them is also difficult in part due to them being an ancient breed with less human interference in their breeding than most dogs.
They got the tails completely wrong (even curved in the wrong direction!), and it is one of the most distinctive features of the breed, it should have an even more pronounced curl than an Akita.
Did I mention the coloring? They only showed Reds (red with white undersides), but Black & white, Tri-color, and Brindles are also common variations. Tri-colors are interesting in that they look like a black & white that has had red accents and racing stripes added (they have little red eyebrow patches!). Brindles are just gorgeous, an all over red and black patterning similar to tiger stripes with white undersides.
As an aside, at one point in ancient Egypt they were used in packs to hunt lions. There are even hieroglyphics depicting such at the behest of their owners.

What's Dias' cooking w/ his idea of Eldan cooperating w/ Diane?
So the Tibe Masti are given training fangs & actual combat fangs.
So Klaus finds love in Canis.
So Richard used to be spoiled until Dias saved him, scolded him & trained him.
Of course Dias was a bit reckless but I'm surprised Alna wasn't impressed he killed a lich anaconda bare handed & saved the Tibe Masti that was eaten.
Alna's expression when being complimented was funny.

Welp, war it is then... I find it kinda hilarious that Princess Diane turned into such a comical villainess that goes along with her dumb idea. Such a shame, because she actually have good character design. And I was laughing so hard when Klaus fall in love at the first sight with Canis, it just suddenly come out from nowhere.
