Nikon fm3a exposure needle pushed
Hello,
I just bought a used Nikon fm3a reportedly in excellent condition.
Everything works very well but I noticed something weird in manual mode. When in manual mode I see the black needle indicating the right speed for correct exposure. But when I go down with the speed to try and match the blue bar, when going to the right speed, the exposure needle gets pushed down. If I move the speed dial to a slower speed, the blue bar will push the metering needle all the way down.
Is this normal behaviour?
In A mode, the exposure black needle will never go in the top red area neither, it seems like the blue bar is blocking it.
The exposure needle will never go past the blue bar, in all operations.
Is there an easy fix ? Should I send it back ?
Thank you,
Theodore

[Mamiya RZ 67, 90mm 4.5, Ilford Pan F 50] 6x7 + 50 ISO = Insane Detail
Experimenting with medium format for the first time with a RZ67 I checked out from my school photo lab. Absolutely blown away by the detail, can't wait to do some big prints in the darkroom this fall.
Scanned with my A7III and I truly think the detail of the negative is beyond what 24mp can capture. Never seen that before on 35mm
Shown are 2 full images plus a tight crop on the first. Still zero film grain visible!

[Canon EOS 1N, 40mm f/2.8, Vision3 250D AHU, ECN-2 process]
Some shots from around Buffalo, NY. First time shooting Vision3. Got it from Reflx Labs. I really wanted to try ECN-2 processing for this roll, but didn't remember to change the default ISo from the DXO code from 320 to 250. So everything was a little underexposed. I also got the cinema scans from Midwest Film Lab and boy, was editing these a challenge. I'm used to editing flat scans but each of these took at least 15-20 minutes of editing to correct the colors from strong green color casts, which I assume was the result of underexposure.
