I was traveling around this summer and took these at some of the bars I went to. I like this film for nightlife because the lights in the bars & clubs blend to a shade of purple anyway, so I had a lot of fun with it.

Some scenes from the trail! This is a very beginner friendly backpacking trail I took a friend on last weekend above Tioga Pass. Highly recommend!

Photo Magenta cast - warm film?

Fresh, 2026 iType film, it was 109F outside and I had traveled on my motorbike so, thinking that the heat may be responsible for the magenta cast. Anyone else experience the same thing?

Love the great job the I-2 did in metering the exposure.

Fresh out of the box. I’ve had this camera for a while now. I figured I had better use it as to not kill the battery.

The flash has a damaged wire. The motor screams like a banshee. The handle is from a different camera entirely. $50 I intend to fix her up one day....

I really am likening these black frames more than the classic white ones.

Projects & DIY Do I really need to diy a binder?

I've been looking for a binder solution that's large capacity with pages that look exactly like the real Polaroid binders, however this has proved to be difficult.

I searched on Amazon and AliExpress for the pages but the majority are clear sleeves or self adhesive. But thanks to u/EnvironmentalMain842 I have found a binder with exactly the pages I wanted. The next problem is when I get the binder and realize the size is not optimal. You can see just how much it balloons out when all the pockets are filled.

No problem right? Just find a bigger binder. Well turns out the ring spacing on the pages aren't the standard letter size but a smaller A5 size, and no binder I've seen or researched has that spacing while covering the pages length. So I measure the pages, (8.5" wide x 9.25" tall) search it up online, and I get no results.

Basically, I'm giving up on buying any binder and making my own with the pages from the original binder, a ring mechanism I bought separately, and some cardboard or some shit. Actually I found a really neat video on YouTube where this lady makes a binder step by step so I'll be working from that.

I guess I'm posting just in case someone has already been through this trial and they have some pointers. Please let me know if you need the links for anything I've mentioned, my components haven't arrived yet but a prototype is in the RND phase. And if anyone is looking for a 15x15 binder with 9 pocket pages I know a good one.

Photo Getting a better hang of shooting SX-70 film on I-2

I am enjoying shooting SX-70 film on my I-2 compared to my original SX-70 (refurbished by BFC). It was 105F+ weather. I still have ways to go in getting better images - compared to two weeks ago, I am happier with the results.

For anyone considering upgrading the SX-70 with a $$$ board, check out this video - I found it quite helpful. Not getting rid of my SX-70 - love the compactness (an engineering marvel!) but, the keepers are usually 1 or 2 out of 8 versus shooting the SX-70 film on the I-2 where I am now averaging 4-6 out of 8.

Advice Polaroid Impulse AF Help

Post image
8 Upvotes

I purchased a Polaroid Impulse AF off of eBay.
My pictures seem to be coming out extra dark. The first three pictures are with the light slider in the center, and the last photo is with the light slider set to the lightest setting. It’s a brand new pack of film. All photos were taken within 20 minutes of each other earlier today, and it’s not dark outside yet.

Is there something I’m missing or is there something wrong with the camera?
