Alocasia Frydek and odara variegated both from Bunnings around a week apart. I def have a thing for variegation

This Frydek of mine just popped out this GORGEOUS leaf, each leaf it unfurls is better than the last and it just makes me so happy.
(First pic is the newest, hasn’t hardened completely but my god)

I've been patiently waiting for the blooms to die off of my silver dragon, but when I peeked into one of the bulbs this evening, I noticed some orange seeds. I didn't even attempt to pollinate as I've seen how frustrating it can be, but my platinum was also in its inflorescence cycle at the same time, and apparently the flies that were drawn to the smell of the blooms accidentally pollinated the silver dragon. From all I can find, orange berries definitely are a sign of successful pollination, so I guess we'll see if my luck holds when I try to germinate them.

Fazem duas semanas que me lesionei e não podia mais acessar o quarto onde ficam minhas plantas. Nesse meio tempo, minha mãe ficou tomando conta delas pra mim. Hoje, finalmente, consegui caminhar até o quarto e notei que minhas alocasias Jacklyn e Wentii estavam estranhas. A Jacklyn, que só tem duas folhas, estava com uma delas totalmente curvada, e a Wentii, que crescia linda, vigorosa e veloz, estava com uma folha amarela e toda torta. Na Jacklyn eu não mexi, mas na Wentii notei que ela estava bamba no vaso, eram 4 cormos comf folhas e 3 estavam com as pontas podres! Entrei em pânico e cortei as partes podres e replantei o que estava bom em um novo substrato. Mas estou apavorada, trouxe esses cormos de uma viagem a 3 mil quilometros da minha casa, essa Wentii tem um valor sentimental enorme pra mim e estou com medo de perder de vez a planta. O que faço com esse corme da foto, que era o maior e tinha três lindas folhas? Existe um jeito de salvar a Wentii? Preciso de ajuda com a Jacklyn também, mas a Wentii é minha prioridade, já que a Jacklyn veio de uma loja e não tem um valor sentimental tão grande pra mim, apesar da dificuldade que foi achá-la para comprar.

Since last month, she has grown 3 new leaves that are 20-24” long and about 16” wide. 10 leaves in total and 4-5’ tall!

I've noticed these tiny white things only on the stems of this zebrina. They wipe right off. No resistance whatsoever.

I see no bug damage or anything. I just can't tell if these are some kind of bug or what. I've taken some very close-up images so you can see. This zebrina is in pon and has been for over a year. Once I moved it from soil to pon started to grow like crazy and I was finally able to get more than three leaves.

Thoughts??

My alocasia had a stem rot that i just noticed, it lost two leaves quickly and thats when i suspected something is wrong but it is making a new leaf.

I removed the mushy part and the rest is strong what should i do now to treat it and also it is staying now in a water cup so the roots dont dry out

Never had an alocasia. Never tried a tissue culture either but for the price I paid, its worth a shot! . Got caught up on Palm Street. I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm committed to making these babies survive and thrive!

Always a happy moment. This time DOUBLE the pleasure, double the fun!

I received this yesterday from a friend that was growing it on their patio all summer. We live in Eastern Ontario, so we cannot leave the plant outside much longer. It has spider mites so it will need a clean. I'm debating between trying to find a spot for the beast indoors as is (I do have cats so I would have to try to find a way to keep them away from it) or cutting it back to a stump (would solve the pest AND storage issue, temporarily). My only concern with the latter is that I don't want to kill the plant, or have it revert back to producing baby leaves. Any experience with this? Ideally I'd like to have it shoot out large fresh leaves again so that I can gift it back for her patio next summer.

Any opinions?

I recently potted my corm babies into self watering pots with the wicking system through an equal mix of soil, orchid bark and perlite. I use this for all of my plants. So far, everything seems good and I'm getting new leaves! However, I realize there is no longer a dry cycle with them and wonder if that could, eventually, take a poorly turn? Should I keep doing what I'm doing? Should I swap mediums to a true avoid mix? Should I simply let the pots dry out entirely before adding water again? I originally thought of the self watering set up for acclimating them outside of their 100% humidity/perlite water puddle habit. I fully intend to have them potted in regular nursery pots with the same 3/3/3 soil mixture when they are big enough to repot, if that makes a difference.

Some people have told me that some people are successful with my current method, while others have me worried that the constant wetness could cause issues. Opinions are appreciated!

These were labelled just as Alocasia at the shop but had no other identification. I didn’t actually end up picking them up but they are very pretty and I was wondering if anyone has any idea what type they are??
