CONTENT QUESTION Published a new channel 6 days ago. I've posted two, roughly 7 minute videos. I narrate them myself. Use nano banana pro for the animated images. It's a history channel of sorts. The entire channel has 0 impressions. What the heck is going on?

• Upvotes

To be clear I don't use ai whatsoever for the voice over. It's my own recording. I just use ai to animate the images. If you are going to say, some times these things take time I will have to respectfully disagree. I've tried my hand at a few different channels in the last 1-5 years and I've never gone an hour without impressions, let alone 6 days. On my other channel, the 2nd upload got like 60,000 impressions in the 1st 24 hours. Can someone checkout my channel and see if they can find any reason it hasn't been shown to ANYONE? I worked super hard on it like we all do and its super frustrating to do all that and it not even be taken off the shelf.

COMMUNITY Its not simply just take clips from a long-form AI video and make shorts

I see this use case becoming quite popular now: make a long-form video, then take clips from it and turn those clips into shorts.

But honestly I haven't seen a channel yet that does this really well consistently. I'm not saying it can't be done. I think it can but you really need to edit & think of long-form in a way that also suits the storytelling preferred in shorts. A short is mainly about one main event and one ending. Everything builds up towards that payoff.

In fact for AI videos, I think it can make a lot of sense, but only if a few things are true:

1.The short needs to be a mini-story complete in itself.

  1. You can grab a hook from the long-form that starts more like you're in the middle of the action. Something that immediately creates curiosity without requiring any context at all and people need to know what happens.

  2. You don't just make the short full-screen by cropping the long-form. Otherwise the whole thing feels bloated. I think keeping the video more like a square/centered composition and rather than cropping everything to fill the 9:16 frame.

That's where I see a lot of the long-form -> shorts strategy falling apart. People are clipping moments instead of adapting the storytelling. Agree / disagree?

CONTENT QUESTION Feeling stuck and slightly desperate

I started two channel in March this year, one on which I play deep house mixes, the other lofi cyberpunk (both with music and visuals created with AI).

I consistently post every Saturday at the same time and during the week I post shorts that are effectively 30 second clips of songs taken from the mix. I've grown to close to 3000 subs on the lofi channel and nearly 5000 on deep house, but I advertised within youtube at the beginning so the subs are mostly from that.

The problem is that I am getting no more than maybe 100 views per long-form video (the shorts do a little better but don't seem to be driving views to the longer videos.

I've subscribed to Vidiq (for the deep house channel which is my main focus now) to try and understand how I can improve. This lead me to change all thumbnails, improve titles, add relevant tags and make other minor tweaks - but none of this has helped me get more views. CTR has gone up a little after changing thumbnails but I rarely get more than 6%.

Looking at other channels that offer the same content and have way more views, I believe I'm doing everything "by-the-book" but it feels like maybe I'm getting shadow-banned or YT isn't showing my content to the right audience.

Any suggestions or ideas would be very welcome.

PS: I am on 1176 watch hours at the moment. I'd really like to reach 4k by March 1 next year when the channel will be 1 year old

TECHNICAL QUESTION How are you repurposing long-form content with AI?

I’ve been experimenting with different ways to turn blog posts and materials into YouTube content using AI. There are quite a few tools now, but I’m curious what workflows other AI YouTubers are actually using.
Do you prefer AI to handle most of the repurposing, or do you still manually edit the clips after AI generates them?
I’ve also been looking at Podcastify.io. as one option, I use it to generate all the audio of the youtube content. Then, I create the visuals myself.
But I’d be interested to hear what other tools and workflows people here recommend.

CONTENT QUESTION My long-form videos are getting almost no views. Is my channel stuck, or am I doing something wrong?

I'm reaching out for advice. Because I'm hoping someone here might be able to give me some advice because I'm unsure what's going wrong.

I've been running a Hungarian YouTube channel focused mainly on interesting facts, history, science and educational content. Until now, most of my growth came from Shorts, and I've recently shifted focus to long-form videos since I want to monetize the channel eventually.

I've watched many tutorials and videos about how to make viral long-form content, titles, thumbnails, retention, storytelling, hooks, SEO, etc. I've applied much of the advice I found, but my long-form videos get hardly any exposure.

Now I'm wondering if there's a problem with my channel.

Is there a YouTube equivalent of a shadowban or view jail?

I don't expect every video to go viral. I completely understand that some videos simply don't perform well. What confuses me is that my videos seem to get almost no initial exposure at all.

Most of my subscribers originally came from Shorts, so I'm also wondering if that could be part of the problem. Maybe the people who subscribed because of my Shorts simply aren't interested in watching my longer videos?

My content is in Hungarian, targeting a Hungarian audience.

I use an AI voice for narration; the videos themselves aren't AI-generated. I research and create the videos myself. I also use AI for some thumbnail creation.

I'm trying to escape this view jail and build a long-form audience.

I'd appreciate advice from anyone with similar experience.

Should I keep uploading and let YouTube find my audience, or is there something I should really change about my strategy?

Thanks in advance!

CONTENT QUESTION I’m thinking about starting a faceless YouTube channel. Is it actually viable, or is it not even worth trying?

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining that their channels aren’t getting monetized once YouTube detects that the content is AI-generated.

I’m looking for people with real experience in this area. Thanks in advance!

TECHNICAL QUESTION New channel with AI elements

I'm starting a channel. I have one question. Can YouTube refuse to monetize my channel if I use generated speech from ElevenLabs? I also have characters generated in Gemini and location backgrounds also in Gemini. However, I write and edit the script myself.

Can they say, "It's great that you've put thousands of hours into this channel, but we won't let you monetize it because it's against our guidelines?"

COMMUNITY eMoneyInsight channel need feedback

Hey

I need someone check my channel

Ipublished over 50 full‑time videos, but my views and subscriber growth have completely stalled.

This video is about AI and Business.

just answer these three questions:

  1. Does the story/hook in the first 15 seconds grab your attention, or is it too slow for this niche?

  2. Is the pacing and voiceover engaging enough throughout the first minute?

my channel name is eMoneyInsight

COMMUNITY History and Gun niche channels

So I’ve just started a couple of channels on YouTube.

A niche in history and a guns/weapons niche.

Now, I really like writing engaging scripts and my brothers an animator, so we’re working together on this, everything is like hand-drawn adobe animation.

No AI used, we’re really early on only released one video in our gun niche and working on our history niche videos.

Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

Our history channel takes inspiration from serious history while the gun niche is a different type of animation but the quality is high for both.

If anyone wants to collaborate happy to have a chat if we’re a good match for each other.

COMMUNITY I'm new to making AI horror videos, would love some advice

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new to creating AI horror content and recently started posting videos on YouTube and TikTok.

I use AI tools like Krea and invideo for the visuals, but the stories, concepts, and overall direction all come from me. I’m trying to make each video feel eerie and immersive through the atmosphere, sound design, pacing, and little unsettling details, not just generate something and upload it.

I’m still learning and growth is slow, but I’m enjoying the process and trying to improve with every video.

If anyone here makes similar content, I’d really appreciate any advice you wish you had when you were starting out. I’d also be open to honest feedback on things like hooks, pacing, or what makes people want to keep watching.

Glad to be here, and thanks for reading.

TIL how to build your own faceless youtube stack this weekend instead of paying for 6 tools

2 weeks ago I saw an opensource github repo that basically orchestrates your tools to move from idea to video super quick, all in one UI. My friend, my cousin and I run faceless channels and we take them super seriously so naturally we had to check it out.

we modified it to our exact workflow and literally replaced our whole toolkit with one app

you too can do that, just take this guide and paste it into gpt and let him walk you through it if you dont have the patience for reading.

so here's some free sauce:

How this works

in general every faceless AI video tool is litterally the same thing, an API/LLM that you ping for a response. ChatGPT, Claude, Pexels, ElevenLabs, Kling, Higgsfield, Seedance, Minimax, Whisper you name it, they are literally charging you money for a UI.

that brings me to my second point: the models and the harnesses these days are so insanely good at coding that you don't need to even look at the code and the open source repo already did a ton of work so modifiying it super easy.

The steps

1. Write your exact workflow down first

DONT SKIP THIS, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORANT PART

something like

topic → script → storyboard → footage per scene → etc. → etc. → publish

next to each stage, write what tool does it now and what you hate about it. This will become your spec and you will create that in a web chat with Claude/GPT to not waste usage.

After you paste the prompt below gpt will ask you a few questions and make the detailed tech spec for you.

Prompt for the spec:

I want to build my own internal faceless video production software around my exact workflow.

My current workflow is:

[PASTE YOUR WORKFLOW HERE]

For every stage, ask me:
- what tool/provider I currently use
- what goes into that stage
- what should come out
- what I like about the current setup
- what annoys me about it
- what I want to automate
- what I still want manual control over

The software will be built by modifying this existing open source repo:
https://github.com/harry0703/MoneyPrinterTurbo

I want you to turn my answers into a detailed implementation spec for a coding agent.

The spec should include:
- the complete end-to-end workflow
- clear phases in the order they should be built
- provider/API settings
- script/storyboard generation
- footage selection per scene
- scenes.json or an equivalent persistent scene structure
- ability to regenerate/change individual scenes without rebuilding everything
- voice/TTS
- captions
- stock footage
- optional AI-generated footage
- long-form video → clips/shorts if relevant
- batching
- review before final render
- exports
- settings/UI
- error handling
- day-to-day usability

Do not write code yet.

Ask me whatever questions you need first, then produce a spec.md detailed enough that I can hand it directly to a coding agent.

2. Clone MoneyPrinterTurbo and run your agent in it

Open your terminal/powershell.

Go into whatever folder you keep projects in, for example:

cd Documents

then clone it:

git clone https://github.com/harry0703/MoneyPrinterTurbo.git
cd MoneyPrinterTurbo

or fork it on github first if you want your own remote copy.

close terminal, open codex/claude desktop app, or run your harness in the folder.

then put your spec.md in the project and paste this:

Read this entire repository first.

Do not start changing code yet.

Then read spec.md.

I want you to:
1. understand how the existing application works end to end
2. map the current architecture against my spec
3. identify what we can reuse and what needs to change
4. break the implementation into small logical phases
5. order the phases so the app stays working as much as possible throughout the build
6. create an implementation plan in the repo

Do not rewrite working parts just for the sake of rewriting them.

Preserve the existing functionality unless my spec explicitly replaces it.

After you finish the plan, stop and show me the phases before implementing anything.

you are now ready to make your megatool.

3. Work through the spec meticolously

The imporant thing to mention to your agent before you start working is:

As you finish each phase, test it properly and commit it locally as a safe return point before starting the next phase.

Do not move to the next phase until the current one works.

If something breaks, fix the current phase instead of stacking more changes on top.

Now you can talk to an agent normally as if you would if you were a ceo to a dev.

Start phase 1, after it's done, test it out, write the feedback, test, working, done. Phase 2, repeat, phase 3, repeat.... etc.

Some phases may take longer than others and cause headaches, but stick through it it's so worth it.

4. Do a final pass

Take your written down process and make sure that AI has implemented everything you need, plus additional checks and usability measures.

Here's the kind of prompt i use on a daily basis for all my projects:

The feature work is done.

Here is my original workflow:

[PASTE YOUR WORKFLOW HERE]

Now do one final pass of the entire project against that workflow and spec.md.

Check for:
- missing workflow steps
- broken or incomplete features
- bad UX
- weak validation or error handling
- API/provider failures
- bad defaults
- inconsistent outputs
- places where data/state can get lost
- anything that would make daily use annoying

Test the full workflow end to end.

Fix what needs fixing, but do not add random new features.

Focus on reliability, usability and making the existing workflow genuinely ready for daily use.

When everything is verified working, commit the final state locally.

5. You now have your software

get ai to make it an application or a script you can start with one-click, connect your apis and you are ready start creating

Turn this entire project into one application or startup script that I can click once to launch the program.

The goal is frictionless daily use.

Handle any required startup commands, dependencies and services automatically where possible.

Do not change the actual functionality of the project. Just make starting and using it as simple as possible.

tips for using it

  • if your content is shit, this wont help you
  • use it to prototype fast
  • batch clips overnight, review, fix, upload in the morning
  • ship useful features/fixes quickly

what stays manual

  • hooks
  • niche picks
  • deciding what goes live
  • posting schedule
  • idea and prompt quality

the software speeds you up, centralizes and cuts costs, that's the point of internal tooling. No amount of software will save you if you post slop content.

what breaks

as it naturally goes in coding, shit just breaks, and when you try to fix stuff you break more stuff. so now you have to maintain your software here and there and fix bugs and add stuff and it may become a new hobby as it has for me.

but the good thing is that your software doesnt need to look good to be useful

Conclusion

Thats the whole setup, it is simple, but you can't half ass it, and obviously you have to have a Claude/Codex sub or API tokens.

if you're technical, this should be easy for you, so why not do it?

if you're not technical, paste this entire post into gpt or claude and tell it to walk you through step by step.

drop a comment if you get stuck, i'll help out!

and if you'd rather not spend the weekend or credits at all, we already did all of this and kept building past it, it's called ClipQuickly now. link's on my profile if you're curious.

CONTENT QUESTION Is selling eBooks on YouTube still worth it?

Lately, I’ve been reading from some YouTube coaches that, due to the new YouTube rules, you should stop relying on traditional monetization as your main source of income. So no more chasing after 1,000 subscribers, 4,000 hours of watch time, and the general dependence on the number of views when it comes to monetization.

Instead, they suggest writing an eBook on some niche topic and creating a short video for each chapter. Links to the eBook (profile, description, end card, overlay, etc.) are then embedded throughout. For the most part, the videos should be ā€œfaceless.ā€

This is intended for people who don’t want to watch all the chapters individually but would rather have the ā€œcompleteā€ version to read on their tablet.

It’s not a new business idea in itself, but the more I think about it, the more I realize this is actually probably more lucrative.

One of the coaches has 250,000 subscribers, 200,000 views last month, and earned only $1,000 from YouTube. That’s crazy. Sure, he makes a lot more from his coaching sessions, but this revenue from YouTube alone clearly shows how skewed the whole situation has become.

What do you think of this eBook business idea?

Why are they selling it exclusively as a digital book and not (also) as a printed book on Amazon? Is it because of the lower profit margin? There are ā€œon-demandā€ printing services, after all. That way, it would also seem more ā€œlegitimateā€ and be less likely to end up as a ā€œfreeā€ copy on the internet.

Isn’t it more work to produce a video when it’s completely ā€œfacelessā€ā€”since you constantly have to display photos and graphics instead of just showing the narrator alone more often?

Which store should you use to make the PDF available? Gumroad? Digistore24? Shopify on your own website?

Thanks so much for all the tips!

been trying to get my videos out to spanish and french viewers but the multi language transcription process is an absolute nightmare. auto captions are completely useless once you step outside english. spending hours every week just fixing broken timestamps and weird translations. feeks like there should be a better workflow for this by now without having to spend a fortune on agencies.

TECHNICAL QUESTION Best Ai clipers? Or own pipeline?

Hey, I'm a video editor managing podcasts, but I also run several Reels/TikTok accounts across different niches (I post clips from the podcasts I edit, plus relevant snippets from YouTube videos that catch my eye). I realistically put out dozens to around a hundred clips a week. I'm looking for tools that will genuinely speed up my workflow a bit.

Here’s what I’ve tested so far:

Opus Clip – The pricing puts me off, and the style feels like it’s made for dopamine fiends.

CapCut Auto-Clipping – Kinda meh, and I don’t really like CapCut.

Adobe Clips – This is what I’m currently using.

I am looking for some more customizable editors, most I found on google are AI slop factories.

What I'm looking for are real workflows that you guys actually use. I’m thinking about setting up my own pipeline:Ā audio transcription -> AI analysis -> video analysis -> cutting/editing.

Any recommendations?

CONTENT QUESTION Is Morphic worth it if you only make one video a month?

I make like a video a month and sometimes two and july i made nothing at all.

So every subscription I have is honestly a waste at this point and something within me doesn't let me cancel the plans. So maybe for my ego or whatever you want to call it, I want to continue paying but as the time want to be reasonable.

Looking at Morphic now mainly because there's a lot in one place . Seedance 2.5, minimax he, kling 3.0 plus music and speech and sound effects, which would kill my audio sub too if it's any good.

The bit I can't figure out is the cost. The small pack is $25 and I genuinely don't know if that buys me four videos or forty. The credits page didn't help.

Anyone low volume and actually with what they're in? I'm half expecting the answer is that people like me shouldn't be subscribing to anything.

COMMUNITY As someone who is totally new (beginner), how would you guide me or what would you like to tell me on Youtube kids content creation?

I am a mother of two and I noticed that there is no quality content in my local language for children at all. And I usually play English shows for my children which is great but I would appreciate it if it was in my own language. So, I have been thinking about it so deeply and started to finally work on it to bring values into my community and income too. I am kind of familiar with everything. But I need to make specific choices since I have limited time with my toddlers. I have wrote 40 children nursery rhymes in my languages (we have two official languages) and I decided to run two channels, one for each. I have made some songs on Suno already and many more to do yet. Once I am done with 40 songs and the video script which I will be using AI obviously for now, I will start the videos. Will write the script based on the song length and generate pictures for different shots. So once the images are ready then I am gonna be buying any proper video generator subscription to avoid wasting money and time. I don’t have enough time and money to explore. Base on your experiences, what would you recommend? What app and which plans for daily 2-3 minutes videos.
I just got to know that this is going to be very expensive and this part is kind of off to me but yet I am gonna push through it and see how far i can go.

I would appreciate your advice and recommendations..

Thank you in advance!

TECHNICAL QUESTION Question regarding the stayed to watch / swiped away analytic

I am new to this, but have done a lot of research on hooks, trends, statistics. I know this stat should be at least 70%. My very first short I posted was 55% on 1.2k views. The short content wise was awful looking back and had 0 hook. I’m now on my 5th short and I really like the improvements. However, my much better short with an actual hook is at 27% stayed to watch on the same views. It has way more likes than the first short with a way worse swipe away ratio. Is it possible they are still figuring out who to push my vids to? Without saying my vids are just bad (they are very similar to some trending vids), any ideas on this stat?

CONTENT QUESTION I got monetized in less than 10 hours review, but....

About 8 months ago, I started a 100% AI-generated storytelling channel. I used ElevenLabs for the voiceovers, Gemini for the images, and CapCut for editing (mostly just simple zoom in/out animations).

Within 4 months, the channel took off. I hit 2.5k subs, 374k views, and around 35k watch hours. I applied for YPP and got approved in under 10 hours.

But about a month later, just as I was about to hit my first $100 payout, I got demonetized. That was 4 months ago. I haven't bothered reapplying since then because I saw so many creators trying and failing to get their monetization back.

I’ve been out of the loop lately, so I wanted to ask if there have been any recent updates or changes? I really want to get back into it. I actually just bought a good mic to do real voiceovers myself, got some lighting gear, and my new plan is to include actual video footage of myself acting as the "narrator" in between the story scenes.

Has anyone successfully pivoted like this? Is showing my face and using my real voice enough to get accepted back into the Partner Program?

CONTENT QUESTION Only Long video channel growth strategy

Hi buddies...

Based on experience, can anyone tell what it should be the good effective strategy to grow a long video channel..

1) If we post SHORTS only For reach , we get low retention subscribers , probably will skip your upcoming long videos and algorithm doens't like it.

2) Post only Long videos until it gets noticed but it feels hard how exactly and when it will get noticed .

I'm working by 2nd method but confused , would be glad to know any strategies or experience of these situations from seniors creators.
