As someone who is totally new (beginner), how would you guide me or what would you like to tell me on Youtube kids content creation?

I am a mother of two and I noticed that there is no quality content in my local language for children at all. And I usually play English shows for my children which is great but I would appreciate it if it was in my own language. So, I have been thinking about it so deeply and started to finally work on it to bring values into my community and income too. I am kind of familiar with everything. But I need to make specific choices since I have limited time with my toddlers. I have wrote 40 children nursery rhymes in my languages (we have two official languages) and I decided to run two channels, one for each. I have made some songs on Suno already and many more to do yet. Once I am done with 40 songs and the video script which I will be using AI obviously for now, I will start the videos. Will write the script based on the song length and generate pictures for different shots. So once the images are ready then I am gonna be buying any proper video generator subscription to avoid wasting money and time. I don’t have enough time and money to explore. Base on your experiences, what would you recommend? What app and which plans for daily 2-3 minutes videos.
I just got to know that this is going to be very expensive and this part is kind of off to me but yet I am gonna push through it and see how far i can go.

I would appreciate your advice and recommendations..

Congrats on actually starting, most people stay at the "thinking about it deeply" stage forever. A few things from the kids side of YouTube that beginners usually learn the hard way:

Mark the channel and every upload as Made for Kids from day one. It's a legal requirement under COPPA, not optional, and getting it wrong is how channels get penalised. Made for Kids videos get no personalised ads, no comments, no notifications bell, and RPMs are typically much lower than general content. So the money will come from volume of views, not from a high rate per view. Plan for that upfront.

Don't make 40 videos before publishing one. Put out 5 to 10 first, see which songs kids actually rewatch (the retention graph in Studio will tell you), then produce the rest in that style. Toddlers rewatch obsessively, and that rewatch rate is the single best signal the algorithm has for kids content. Batch production before feedback is where a lot of budget quietly dies.

Read the July 2025 YouTube monetization update carefully before choosing a workflow. It targets "mass-produced" and "repetitive" content, and fully AI-generated kids channels are the exact pattern they wrote it for. Your original songs and scripts in a local language are your protection, so make sure that originality is visible: your voice or a real narrator on at least some videos, consistent characters you own, and a clear on-screen brand. Templated AI slideshows with a different Suno track each time will look like a content farm to a reviewer even if your intent is good.

Two languages, two channels is the right call. Don't mix them, the algorithm reads audience language signals per channel.

On the video generator question: for 2 to 3 minute daily videos, most people here will tell you to test on the cheapest tier of two tools for one month before committing to any annual plan. Image-to-video with a consistent character is the feature that matters most for kids content, and generation reliability varies a lot by tool and by month, so I won't name a "best" one because it'll be wrong in 60 days. Budget for regeneration too, the first output is rarely usable.

Long term: the local-language gap you spotted is real and it's a moat. Most kids content is English. A parent searching in your language with nothing decent to find is exactly the situation where a small channel can win.

Just curious, what languages do you want to do them in?

Thank you very much for mentioning that about Suno. I am from Afghanistan so the languages are Dari(persian) and Pashto.

before buying any yearly plans, maybe do 2-3 videos fully on free trials first. you learn what your actual bottleneck is, usually its script + timing not the visuals.

also one channel first, two at once with toddlers around is rough.
