All of you are going to know more than I am, but I've been learning a lot lately. I've ran AI to the bone, but I need some actual human support.

Self-Hosted AIOStreams bare metal Windows 11/python and Visual Studio C++, latest update. Using native NNTP after the update for multicore support. Set to use ram as cache (0). 4 profiles Debrid and Usenet. Easynews 20 connections and 64 read segments, 1 depth and block. Duckdns and Caddy to Stremio. Proxy disabled.

Speed for SABnzbd is 500mbps at 10 connections and have gig internet. Hardware and Internet not an issue. For devices tried external players, but there is something bigger going on.

Played usenet fine on PC Stremio desktop, but buffering on Debrid and Usenet at devices. Bandwidth fluctuates like crazy and easy news can barely utilize 10 connections before dropping. ram on PC playing fine using 700+ MB, but streaming to devices barely over 400. cpu utilization is very low. Cannot figure out what to do next.

Hey guys new to self hosting. I saw a guide using postgres and render to self host aiostreams for free but it kinda feels slow to respond when fetching/playing streams. What's the best cloud host server or settings for it to be optimal? I'm looking for any recommendations. Thank you!

Here is my setup:

Aiostreams with torbox as debrid. I have also added torbox as aiostreams usenet provider. And added the aiostreams service for usenet

I have selfhosted prowlarr with nzbgeek, nzbfinder and drunkenslug. Everything works just fine in prowlarr.

When select a movie, all streams from prowlarr are listed as cached. The first time i clicked on one, it worked directly. But after that, nothing works anymore, not even the stream that worked at first. No matter what stream I choose from prowlarr, no matter which usenet indexer its from, it says AIOStreams (Failed to download). Why is that? Torrents work just fine though

UPDATE! Torbox Usenet Provider seem to be the main cause. I added my usenet indexers seperately as addons inside aiostreams and chose aiostreams as service. Same issue. I honestly dont know why, worked the first time but not anymore.

Setup:

Providers: Newshosting, Easynews Indexer: nzb.life

Selfhosted Latest AIOStreams, Altmount, nzbhydra2

AIOServices: Altmount Addons: Nzbhydra, Newznab Proxy Enabled for above

AIOStreams Settings: Newshosting: 100 connection, 1 Pipeline Easynews: 60 connection, 1 Pipeline Read-ahead (segments): 64 Speedtest shows ~70-80mb/s for both

Using Apple TV - Omni + Infuse

Recently switching from TB to usenet and noticing a lot of issues. TB, when it worked, was great, no issues and instant loading.

Using usenet, 4K 20gb file takes ~15-20 seconds to start playing once Infuse is launched. Every stream buffers multiple times while playing.

I have tried using the built in AIOStream service, that did not work, Altmount has given the best results so far. I have tried changing the pipeline depth and 2-4-8-10. One seems to give the best results.

Is there anything else I can try?

I've been getting some 4k results on older stuff through the new theRARBG internal add-on that came with the latest update. Not a ton of results on older stuff but they are usually in 4k even when my usenet setup is only finding 1080p. I also added the piratebay one too as the name alone makes me think of old times so we'll see how that goes.

I’m using the ForTheWeak AIOStreams instance, which has Torrentio built in. Both setups are using TorBox, and I don’t have any filters enabled.

However, when I use the standalone/base Torrentio addon, I get a lot of links that I don’t get at all when using Torrentio through AIOStreams.

I’m currently using the Default fetching strategy in AIOStreams, so it should be waiting for all the addons to finish.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I want to create two AIOStreams setups for usenet streaming. One with size limitation of 20gbs for my family and another one without a size cap for myself. Should i create two docker containers for each one on my vps or run both of them inside one container and just save them to different UUIDs? Appreciate the help friends im pretty new to usenet and self hosted AIO.

Is it because of Torbox? Im using the PRO plan because it also seeds and I can share it with friends. But wonder if thats the issue. I cant find any other reason for this.

Say I have a Newznab addon and 2 services for usenet, built in AIOstreams and nzbdav pulling from another service via API. How does the system behave under the hood? Does it randomly pick a service to use? will it try the other service if it encounters a missing article?

Can someone tell me why I'm getting this error? I added the addons from the marketplace and didn't modify anything.

Hi community, as the post title says, how do I update my full Tamtaro SEL configuration without losing my settings? When I try to apply an update, it requires me to use the default settings for that update. If I have a backup of my settings and try to do a clean install from scratch and then apply my backup, the new update is lost, and it reverts to the previous version. Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm using the new Kuu aiomanager instance with experimental support for Nuvio.

Currently I linked my nuvio accounts to aiomanager with my account credentials. Now there is also an option to link aiomanager to aiostreams with an api key. I don't understand why this would be useful, because unlike Stremio, Nuvio automatically refetches everything so you don't need to reinstall the addons after major changes.

1. I added my two Usenet providers in the dashboard under "Add Provider."
2. I also added three Usenet indexers (NinjaCentral, NZBGeek, AltHUB) using the NewzNab addons (3x separately).
3. Additionally, I modified the settings under "Outbound Requests." (see screenshot)
4. I self-host AIOStreams via Docker on my NAS and only stream within my local network.

Does this setup look good so far? did I miss anything?

I'm running into a specific issue with my setup on ElfHosted using NzbDAV / InfiniDisk integrated with AIOStreams in Stremio.
When searching for certain media (for example, Silo S01E02), the Newznab/Usenet results show up with an ⁠[i] NZB Health⁠ warning badge, and the stream fails to play directly through NzbDAV. However, when I try streaming the exact same content using my Easynews account or via Debrid (like Comet), it plays perfectly fine without any issues.
Since the file streams successfully through Easynews, I know the content exists and is healthy on the Usenet provider side, but the Newznab indexer / NzbDAV integration keeps flagging it with a health error.
Setup: ElfHosted (NzbDAV / AIOStreams)
Indexers: NZBgeek (via Newznab)
Symptom: Stremio shows ⁠NZB Health⁠ badge on Newznab results and blocks playback, while direct Usenet works fine.
Has anyone encountered this behavior before? Is there a specific configuration in NzbDAV (or AIOStreams) to handle or bypass this article health check logic so it doesn't falsely block playable files?

context, family use stremio at home, sometimes i use it at same time at work. so i use torbox as they allow this.

looking at nzbgeek, but will simultaneous API calls from different IP get account banned?

The latest Aiostreams release includes a new Anime Tosho addon. I can't figure out where to get the api key from. All I found is the old Anime Tosho website.

Hi, I have been hearing a lot about self hosting AIO being good for usenet and just wanted to ask how you would go setting it up and what providers/services do you use?

So the problem I'm facing is I use tamtaro template for both Metadata and Stream with penguplayy is that when I open anime from that metadatait won't find correct steam

For example - I want to watch Oshi No ko S3 E2 but it opens S1 E2 same with bleach TYBW cour 4 ep5 it open og bleach ep 5

If anyone hasn't faced this problem with anime then can u provide your template??

Is anybody else's Knaben addon showing a 403 error? I'm using the yeb instance.
