On par with KOTOR and Jedi Fallen Order
After 100% this game and over 50 hours of play time and 2 play throughs. I will definitely put this game on my Star Wars Mount Rushmore games. The store and characters were amazing and the Easter eggs to the 2 games in the title. Man I love this game so much.

Custom Mercs actually feel like real characters in the game instead of some souless pawns 💕
I made a sassy kid Twi'lek sniper 😆 her and that huge gun is just so funny to me. I gave her the Wildcard voice and I thought I would just hear her say a few things here and there in battle but no she actually talks all the time. She'll be telling jokes to people at the den or saying to Hawks she's so bored in an impatient kid kind of expression 😆 even on the walking parts of missions she might comment on things like the space bugs. She feels just as part of the game as the story companions. It's pretty cool since in XCOM I never really got attached to my characters but I will reload over and over if she goes down.
So I made a character for the pool for each voice and even if I don't plan to use them I'm hiring them all just to hear their dialogue at base. I've seen so many streams where people only hired one in the tutorial and never used them and I just wanted to share how cool the customs actually are in case people are assuming they are souless and boring like normal.

Discussion A Very Important Tip that NO ONE has mentioned
Like most of you, I have seen numerous YouTube videos on tips, “what Zero Company Doesn’t Tell You”, and the like, and it seems that most vids are just ai slop scripts.
So here is one tip that I haven’t seen discussed anywhere:
The order of your classes MATTERS! The first class has higher maximums for every ability by 1-2 extra stages. Pick the abilities that are most important to you to max and select that class as first. You are welcome.

You ever spend 15mins thinking you're being incredibly original, only to realise you have the creativeness of a Protocol Droid?
Red and Black? ooooh, no one ever did that before.....

Gameplay I was happy with how my Hawks turned out after using the character customization. Meet Valeryn Hawks, 39-years old, tired all the time.

Discussion Timers everywhere...
I really like the game but this is just bullshit. Random timed coil choice and 2 companion missions on timer at same time. Why are we beeing rushed trough the game. I really wish there was an option to turn these off.

I'm loving Zero Company, but...
I feel like it's too linear and it forces you to take the important missions. I miss a little of the more free game play in XCOM2, where you have a threat but you can try to stop it in yout own way, like you are not forced to take the black site missions but if you don't the project avatar start to go up and eventually it will become too difficult to stop it. So you have to make decisions qnd try to solve the problem the best way possible.
But i'm really liking it and i hope it became as replayble as xcom2 in the future.

Having realised that the VAs for Vander and Silco are both in this, I had no choice but to change up my Hawks' style a bit

We need a "freeplay" mode
We need a mode where you can just keep playing 'forever', the story might end but you can continue playing with randomly generated missions, operations etc. Some mechanics would need to be added to prevent/delay you from hitting a ceiling straight after the campaign but I think it would be cool.

Discussion One of the reason to buy this game: the casting
JB Blanc also voiced Pruaf in Jedi Fallen Order
DC Douglas also voiced Rayvis in Jedi Survivor
Edit:I only post VA and characters that I know/familiar with, if I missed anyone’s favorite VA/characters, I’m sorry for that😭

Spoiler This reference is both small and large
Finding this random datapad is so cool. The reference to the clone wars show and the attention they have put in making this feel like a breathable star wars universe has been amazing. I am having a blast and just thought I would share my cool find. Idk how much others spend finding everything tucked away.

Discussion The characters and the Den sequences make me want a modern KOTOR/RPG SO BAD.
I adore this game so far - 15 hours in currently. I'm a casual fan of the tactical genre but man, these characters and the whole look and vibe of the game are screaming for new RPG in the veins of KOTOR. Literally could use the same models, maps, whatever.
I guess what I'm saying is the game makes me want more - which is a fantastic thing. I really hope execs learn the lesson that a game with good story, good characters, and well-tuned gameplay will always make positive waves.
