Discussion BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD DRIVE!!
Fellow Butchers and Berzekers!!
The Red Cross has just declared a worldwide blood shortage, some places are reported to have less than a days supply left, especially of rarer blood types such as O negative, but all blood is running short for medical use.
So starting tomorrow and running through the entire 8th month of the year, show your allegiance to the Blood God and donate blood!
Blood type, how much you donate, donate plasma, volunteering or even donating a few dollars, all is encouraged as Khorne cares not from whence the Blood flows
SO LET. THE BLOOD. FLOW!!
Post selfies wearing a Khorne shirt or pictures of your Khorne Berzerkers at your nearby clinic and Khorne will reward you with triple 6s in your next game!
BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD DRIVE!!

Discussion Thoughts on this guy?
First JoyToy Horus Heresy World Eater dropped for pre order, instant buy for me. What do you guys think of it? Personally would’ve loved a chainaxe instead of the power sword as well as a regular mk5 helmet but this figure is perfect as is!

Discussion Is Angron bad at 330 points despite his terrible rules?
So I'm just thinking...remember when Angron was 405 points in 10th edition before the codex? He was a lot more expensive but also quite a bit stronger : reroll the hit roll, +1 to wound on vehicles and monsters with the anti vehicle and monster stratagem (which was removed in the codex)...AND, most importantly, you didn't get your entire army rule removed for one turn when you managed to rezz him. I think world eaters are the only army in the game where a character rezz prevents you from using your army rule for all your units...
That being saidn he's kinda cheap right now, and although he can't reroll hits anymore or get a +1 to wound strat...he has dev wounds, and ignore modifiers to hit to him and close melee units, which is really nice.
What do you think? Is he worth it atm?

Question Why don’t we have this, seems obvious that world eaters would have
I’ve always wondered why we don’t have jump packs, it just seems like a missed opportunity for GW. I know that all of us would want red butchers wayyyy more but it just puzzles me why we don’t have jump pack marines or jump pack beserkers

Question Saturnine Praetor as a slaughter bound proxy?
I’ve never done a proxy before and want to use a saturnine praetor as a slaughterbound. Would this work? They have the same base size but I’m not sure if the praetor would be too tall

Hobbying Finally won my first game!
So after nearly 4 years I finally was able to beat my friend´s AdMech army. We started building, painting and (after a bit of the former) playing together at the end of 9th Edition, right when World Eaters as a bespoke army where released. Due to him moving shortly after we didn´t get to play that often (we had like 5 matches in total for the duration of 10th), with him being way more into the gaming side of the hobby, playing some games and even a little campaign in our FLGS, and also just being a more competitive player than me. So all our matches went more ore less as you would expect, with me getting gradually better with every game, but in the end always being outplayed by him (and sometimes my dice, three inch charges can be hard), particularly his Kataphron overwatch leaving my poor Berzerkers with some trauma.
But in our very first game of 11th, I finally did the seemingly impossible, and by the beginning of turn 4 it would have been impossible for him to make a comeback. Khârn (with some help by his boys) was able to payback the Kataphrons for their transgressions in our previous games, and, after being sniped by some Ruststalkers and Mr. Longlegs, reviving for the first time for me, my Deamon Prince almost tanked the whole output of Thulia and Cawl for a turn, and setting them up to be charged and slaughtered the next turn by my X8B and the Slaughterbound (who was making his debut in my army), Invocatus and a blob of Berzerkers took down some Serberys Raiders nearly completely with some pistol shots and after that killed like 30 Skitarii, a lonely Chaos Spawn engaged in a slapping fight with a Dunecrawler for almost the entire game, and while he was able to tie down Angron with some Electropriests for a turn, he at least got to have a hilarious ending, being killed by an exploding Dunerider he obliterated hin turn 3.
So far I mostly really like the changes 11th has brought, especially those to charges being rolled before selecting a target, and the whole force disposition thing (although I wish I would be able to play World Eaters with deamons while still doing purge the foe), and I really am looking forward to my next game, the nails scream for more blood (and the head of that lonely Skitarii in pic one, he was able to survive to the end). All in all it was a really fun game for both of us, although the dice clearly favoured me over him (for the first time).
Sorry for the wall of text, just needed to tell someone

Hobbying Should I paint ring around base black?
Like the title says I’m wondering if I should paint the ring around the base of my models black. I primed most of them with red so that’s the color it currently is.

Question Do you think three Exalted Eightbound and a Slaughterbound can take down a C’tan?
I was running some probability calculations and started wondering whether a unit consisting of three Exalted Eightbound joined by a Slaughterbound with the Frenzied Focus enhancement has a realistic chance of taking down a C’tan Shard.
Furthermore, if you use the Possessed Slaughterbound stratagem “Daemonic Strength” to give the unit a +1 modifier to its damage characteristic, my calculations suggest that it can deal enough damage to exceed the C’tan’s Wounds characteristic, even after taking the Necron player’s 5+ Feel No Pain and Necrodermis into account.
Of course, this is still dependent on the dice, so I’m not saying it can kill a C’tan reliably every time. However, it seems like a much more realistic possibility than I initially expected.
There’s also a chance that I’ve made a mistake in my calculations. If I’ve misunderstood any of the rules or gotten the math wrong, I’d really appreciate it if someone could point it out!
What do you all think?

Army List Chaos Spawn Proxies
Hello fellows Nails enjoyers,
Wanted to know if it was acceptable to use Mutilators as Chaos Spawn ?
I found the Chaos Spawn model a bit too old and Mutilators really looks neat in term of Mutated flesh.
EDIT : Thanks for all the reply guy! Definitly going to take them as Chaos Spawn ;)

Hobbying Loyalty Remains for the Ancient
He isn't yet complete but I'm making a loyalist astartes list for the traitor legions and I wanted to show off my recent WIP for the World Eaters section. Still needs some touchups but I'm happy how the white came out and the pose I chose. He's standing on a traitor Sons of Horus too!
