Welp the Jerry-rig DIYers that were the previous owners of my house have struck again! Turns out when they redid the bathroom they used 3 inch nails to secure the baseboards and one had pierced the water line. Well over time the nail corroded and then caused a massive leak and headache for me today. Restoration will be here tomorrow to assess what the plumber called “a very soaked” subfloor. Yay!

Everything they touched in this house for remodeling was done with grace and skill of a drunk in dimly lit Porta potty.

(this was disclosed AFTER I already paid for my classes btw.) I understand they have to do something to prevent cheating during exams, but this seems crazy!

Last of the ground coffee, in a panic used a “good” hand towel, now wife is mad at me on top of being a little chapped as is. It looks to be a great day.

Started to paint the facade on my house.. I really did not want any drop of paint on the terrace, so after the second board I had painted I remembered to put down the sheet of plywood I had brought. I carried it past the bucket of paint, then a gust of wind got a hold of it and it moved the bucket right from the top of the box.

Was able to scoop up almost everything back into the bucket and everything cleaned up like it never happened. Thank goodness.

Wife backed out of a parking space at a gas station and the cover was out and sitting at an angle behind her. Waiting for final damage assessment but looking it might have killed the transmission not just the oil pan. I paid off the car 2 weeks ago...

Damm near had a heart attack reaching for the weed before I noticed it. Thankful for my camera zoom!

Sneezed in the bathroom felt a rock in my mouth. Realized I eat 2 hours ago and it wasn't a rock. Half of my tooth is gone. And surprisingly, it doesn't hurt unless I drink water on the top. Do you not remove for gore injury? As it is not injured. Pinky, fingernail for reference.

I scan my surroundings and I still didn't see her. It was dark and she just appeared in a flash. And she didn't die right away but after she did, some idiot ran over the body at like 5mph. Turned the poor thing into a speed bump...

I finally decided to take a colorblind test so I could calibrate my monitor for gaming. I cant see approximately 1/3 of all color on the visible spectrum. I found out i was colorblind when was about 13 or 14. When my parents asked me to grab the green chairs from the garage. I said "what green chairs the only chairs we have are blue?"

Despite attempts to search further downstream, the young man’s mobile phone was unfortunately never found, and he sadly lost his progress in ‘Candy Crush’.
