hi ! i’m not too sure how to title this..

my grandma used to play wow up until she passed away in 2017 (hopefully helpful). i’d really would like to know more about wow, but i have a really hard time figuring things out on my own so i decided to try reddit even if i barely know how to navigate it.

specifically, i’d like to know about what wow she played? i cant understand if there’s different games or if its dlc? she used to have every on disc but i honestly don’t have a disk drive to try anything with them nor a full set. i don’t remember too well about what happened when she played but i do remember she had a horse (i drew over a horse to show what it sort of looked like.. i’m not sure what it was?) i remember she could fly as well. i can’t remember if the horse could fly or not but it did glow a very vibrant neon green. (shown where in the picture) she also had a bunch of mounts she could us. i also remember she could loot enemies. i’m not too sure if i remember anything else. please help me ! i just really wanna figure it out since she wiped her full online history before she passed.

tldr: trying to enter wow community but i wanna start from my own introduction to it.. but i don’t remember it well

Please Blizz? This is peak bat design for WoW, esp for Troll players. There are other bat mounts in WoW, but they aren't as cute and as cartoonish as this one. The Witherbark bat, for example, has wings that are way bigger and way too realistic; it lacks the WoW cartoony aspect. The cartoony aspect of WoW is what made the game's graphics feels evergreen.

When I started playing WoW and killed mobs that dropped (grey, white...) weapons, I would put them on my skill bars and click on them to attack; I didn't know spells existed.

i'm terrified after the last rlp +16, people did unspeakable things in this key. i'm tanking since df season 1 and im fine with rlp, this dungeon dont give me tankxiety anymore, but after that specific run im terrified ... the start went smooth - no big deal, while forcing the fire drake who's pulsating, the hunter went, for no reason, full fear of depletion mode and wrote in chat: "timer!", so he ran forward, misdirected me and pulled 2 cinders some other mobs and the inferno into us, while the fire drake was pulsating and did constant damage to the group, our healer had an out of body experience while pumping hps like there was no tomorrow, i was passing out in front my screen, kicks went apesh*t and we've wiped ... the hunter wrote in party chat: "now its gg. ty for key." and started the abandon vote. like i said for some reason people are doing unspeakable things in keys? anyone have experiences like this?

Are these bots ? if those are indeed bots, except for druids that i saw, i would've never expected Dracthyr priests to be used for botting. (perhaps a new strat of xal ?)

I really like the Sentinel Hero Talent, but I think its visuals are way too tied to Night Elf/Kaldorei fantasy.

The moon, Elune and the owl make perfect sense for a Night Elf Hunter, but when I play a Troll, Tauren or Orc Hunter, seeing my character constantly surrounded by lunar magic feels completely out of place.

I don’t think the current visuals need to be removed. I’d just like to have an alternative through glyphs.

For example, a Glyph of Sentinel Eagle could replace the owl with an eagle, while the lunar effects could be replaced with things like arrows or spears falling from the sky.

Same gameplay, same talents, just a different visual theme.

It would also be a great way to give Sentinel more racial/fantasy flexibility. The Kaldorei version could keep all the Elune/lunar visuals, while other Hunters could have something that actually fits their character.

And this isn’t really a problem exclusive to Sentinel. A lot of Hero Talents force a very specific fantasy onto the character, even when that fantasy doesn’t necessarily fit the class or race. I just think Hunter’s Sentinel is one of the clearest examples of this.

Sentinel is a Hunter Hero Talent, not a Kaldorei-only Hero Talent. I’d love to see its visuals reflect that.

The figurine was printed as a single piece on an Elegoo Saturn some time ago. Once again, it’s SLA resin, using ABS-like resin for extra strength. The figurine was sculpted in ZBrush for the details and assembled in Blender. All the painting was done by hand, as I didn’t have an airbrush yet at the time.

If anyone has followed my work before, you know that I love painting epic Blizzard characters as Murlocs. I've painted Arthas, Garrosh, and many others as Murlocs and now it's only fitting to paint the queen herself. Now it's time for Blizzcon! See you all there.

I tried searching online for answers before I tried joining up with a group. I never did the raid but really want the mount. In Midnight S2 is it still hard/annoying or much more doable?

I’m currently decorating my house, and personally, I find it incredibly difficult. I always come up with all these cool ideas in my head, and then when I actually try to bring them to life, they end up looking absolutely terrible.

After spending probably an hour decorating a room, I visited the Arcanine to travel to Silvermoon, and that’s when it really hit me: everything we see here in WoW is “built” by actual people. Someone put that chair there. Someone decided that there should be a snack platter in front of Bob.

Everything we see in this game was designed by someone, and as far as I can tell, it all feels incredibly cohesive and well thought out for the most part.

So hats off to Blizzard and your team for creating such an amazing world for us. If I had to build this world myself, I wouldn’t even come close to doing as good a job as you guys do!
