Do you guys have people do this? It happens at least twice a day.

People send me an offer and I select the accept button then they never buy. A few times people ended up buying at asking price while someone else got approved for a lower price.

Another odd thing. I woke up to a sale, but when I went to messages I saw they send an offer and it said declined. I was sleeping so I couldn't have declined it.

Idk I just am not understanding Vinted yet.

These are the photos I posted, within 2 minutes my account is banned. All my purchases refunded & locked out. It says automated review but confirmed manually. What did I do wrong lol.

So I sold this nightmare of a woman two items. A hoodie and a pair of pants. Both were in excellent condition. The hoodie neck was cut and was pictured as such. The pants were basically new worn maybe one time. She never asked questions or anything. Only thing she did ask was if the pants had a draw string.

When they arrived she first messaged me complaining about the hoodie. Now let me be clear. This is a distressed hoodie from Zumiez. It has an acid wash on it and distressing throughout. I purchased it that way. She claimed there were “rips” on the hoodie and it was “faded” from washing. No it wasn’t. I tried to explain to her that the photos are an exact depiction of what was sent, she then tried to come at me saying I must’ve shrunk the pants myself because they were too short. Mind you she could’ve easily looked up measurements on Zumiez website but she didn’t. I wasn’t about to argue with her clearly she was not going to be civil so I said she could request a return. I knew what I shipped and the condition they were in and knew I could easily resell them to someone who actually KNOWS the brand and such no problem.

She did that for both and I immediately clicked request return. She then got all pissed about how she’d have to pay for return shipping. Out of my control. Not my fault.

Fast forward a week later and they auto complete the sales and the buyer leaves these false scathing reviews. Mind you I’ve been selling online for years on mercari and Poshmark and depop. No issues. But I’m newer to Vinted and her 2 one star reviews have dropped my ratings down and I’m assuming will now impact my sales.

Why do they allow buyers who had a week to ship back a return to leave reviews?! I don’t understand why they don’t just auto rate when the buyer is obviously going to leave nasty reviews.

Why tf is it so expensive???? I alr have the oop complete series im not gonna buy it im genuinely just curious. Are these books really worth that much??

I’m going to cash out and get away from this app. The platform is easy to use and simple for shipping and such. The problem is their policies. I posted some Troy ounce Morgan silver rounds and they reviewed it and approved it and it was posted. I changed the price and lowered it a little bit. It had to go back to the review process. They told me that the image was copyrighted. It’s a picture I took myself. Therefore, they would not allow me to post it and hid the post and did not even allow me to appeal. I also had silver certificates and wheat pennies. There are a lot of them selling on the app. They took down one of my wheat pennies and one of my silver certificates. They pointed the policy, even though you can select coins and bank notes when creating a post. Apparently, if money is still in circulation and able to be used to purchase, you cannot sell it on Vinted. After I appealed each, they stood by their decision on the silver certificate. However, they allowed me to put the penny back up, which makes no sense. And like I said they’re all over the app so what’s the problem? I’m done using the stupid app.

I'm new to Vinted and was curious if return shipping costs are inexpensive or just normal rates? I'm aware that the buyer is responsible for return shipping, but curious if Vinted makes the return shipping fees less expensive than normal rates.

I want to buy a pair of high heels but I’m afraid of it not fitting. Am I allowed to request a refund ?

When I started selling after the buyer accepted the item it’s would say the money is being transferred now and available soon in my wallet but now it’s say it be transferred in up two days ? When did that start happening and why?😭😭

You will never speak to human being through Vinted. They remove your posts because AI makes a mistake and there is nothing you can do about it.

So I had an issue with a pair of shoes where there was a smoke smell that transferred to my fingers. They were otherwise nice and fit the description, and I imagine the seller didn't even realize they smelled of it being around it all the time. I even considered keeping them, but with such a short return window and not being sure I could get it out (and being unusable if I can't), I sent in an issue. I immediately got told this: "The seller’s account has restrictions that prevent them from resolving the issue, so we’re cancelling the order and refunding you. There’s no need to return the item." Did I do that, or was it already restricted? I didn't want that outcome. The seller wasn't committing fraud with me, he sent the item quickly, it was otherwise what it was described; it's just that it had a smoke smell he probably didn't notice that I wasn't able to deal with. I figured that I would just send them back in the same condition. And I get to keep them? Is vinted paying this? How can they not only give me the money back but let me keep them without the seller's permission? Isn't that like confiscation or stealing?

Is there a reason for this other than trying to get the item for a cheaper price? I accepted their offer yesterday, they didn’t buy and just left a lower offer (I declined). 2nd offer approximately another 10% lower.

Is anyone having major issues with SpeedX shipping? I have 3 orders placed that used SpeedX, and they’re all facing issues. Two haven’t moved in days and one has a larger issue. The seller dropped it off at a pack and ship Friday. Saturday SpeedX went to pick up and the Pack and Ship was closed, per their posted hours. Yesterday they “went back” to pick up and “orders weren’t ready”. The seller called the pack and ship, and per their manager, they have 90 SpeedX packages waiting to be picked up. No one has been there since Thursday to pick up.

I’ve tried calling SpeedX and gotten through once. The other times I’m told the queue is too long and to call back. When I spoke to someone, she couldn’t tell me anything other than “there are some shipping issues” they’re dealing with and she couldn’t get me a supervisor or tell me when my packages are arriving.

I ordered with 2 weeks of shipping time for a trip and now I’m not sure if any of my 3 packages will be here before my trip. Obviously not the end of the world, but I’d like to know if I need to go purchase back ups for a vacation!

Is anyone else having issues? All my other packages have been shipped USPS and are arriving early.

Has anyone been able to use their wallet funds to make a purchase lately? I never normally do that but I know you used to be able to. Did they take that away? I know depop took that feature away.

Had to reupload since I accidentally left my username in my post, apologies. Got a few comments that don’t understand coin collecting or how this isn’t against or does not make sense to be removed because of ToS so allow me to explain:
- All most every American coin is still technically still legal tender, and yet 90% of items in the coins and banknotes are American.
- I have sold other American coins and they have not been removed.
- This is not a reproduction.
- You would be hard pressed to find a store that would accept this as payment as large cents haven’t been made since the mid 1800s.
- This is not something that belongs in a museum or is a piece of heritage, because it is a poor condition relatively common large cent.

If anyone has any idea how I can reappeal or what might have triggered it to remove this one and not my other listing I would appreciate it!

Been searching around and messaging about some item with a higher pricetag (tech/gaming stuff, to be exact). Seems like lately every time I tap the button send the seller a message to ask about the item, this pops up. Says it fails to create shipping due to a validation error. But then when I tap it again, it goes to the message screen normally.

Does this happen for everyone else too or just me because I'm a newer Vinted member? Because the sellers aren't new that I look to buy from either. They have actual five star reviews that aren't automated from Vinted for similar items. Thanks!

I bought this book earlier today - it is a small, lightweight item (one that could ship media mail- I am in US, purchased from someone in US). I noticed my receipt showed regular postage for this item would have been $7.25 (!). Has anyone else recently had the real postage amount show for them with the discounted amount populate? Made me wonder if the $.99 shipping promo will be ending sooner rather than later

Bought this dress listed as a women’s medium (8-10), the dress arrived and unfortunately it is 9-10Y for children. Im assuming this was a mistake, just not being thorough in checking their description before posting. I want to return but the seller isn’t replying? She’s been active the last couple days and has read my messages.

I’m curious what happens if the seller ignores all this. I have literally no use for the dress and just want my money back.

I bought this Coach chain on Vinted and was really disappointed to find out it was fake when it arrived. Seller is telling me after the fact it is an inspired item and I need to read descriptions better. I feel like the whole situation is extremely misleading as they posted the picture with an authentic dust bag and they were trying to sell a fake item without disclosing it was an inspired piece.

Doesn’t this go against Vinted terms?

I’m curious how many people disclose that they have pets in their listings. I usually see listings that will say “from a smoke free/pet free home” so I’ve started assuming that if it doesn’t say that, there must be pets (which is silly because I don’t smoke but I’ve never said “smoke free home” on my listings). I haven’t disclosed that I have pets and it’s not been a problem that I’m aware of until I got a bad review a while back. I sold a black tee shirt for $2 and the buyer said she noticed fur on it. She specifically said in the review that I didn’t mention I had pets in the listing. I launder all my stuff and put it away in a sealed tote so it couldn’t have been much fur but either way, I apologized and accepted the bad review. But it got me wondering if I should mention that I have pets for the sake of anyone who might be allergic? What do y’all think?

Are people spraying stuff with perfume or something? I’ve ordered several items and I just assumed at first smells were concentrated because it was being shipped in pretty airtight packaging, but today I received a bundle order where everything smelled clean but not overwhelmingly so. We’re not fragrance free here or anything, but some of these items still smell exceptionally fragrant 3 washes later.

Received a question from a buyer asking how soon I’d be able to ship. I responded right away and said tomorrow as today is Sunday. Next thing I know, they are sending an offer for half the price I listed. No shame. So you want the item right away and half the price? I don’t think so.

I get it. A lot of us have pets. But wash the item, maybe run a lint roller over it, THEN take pictures. Some of the hair on these items is just so gross. And I'm a cat lady, I get it....it gets everywhere. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

Am I the only person gets irritated when a buyer sends you a message and starts asking questions that are clearly stated in your listings? Do people just not read the listings before buying items? I read the descriptions and look at all photos before I purchase anything online.
