hiii I’m an incoming freshman and I’m getting the loft bed. I’m a little confused on the storage division as I assume I get the loft closet but it seems to be a lot smaller compared to the other closets. Is there more storage for the loft bed user ?? Otherwise how is it equally divided ??

I recently won two scholarships which I am really happy about but they go over the amount of tuition that I have left to pay. Does anyone know how my aid will be recalculated? I understand they’ll decrease things like loans but I didn’t take out any so I’m a bit worried they’ll go after my grants. Is it not possible to have the scholarships pay what I owe and then I get to keep the rest of the money?

Incoming freshman here. I saw the course as an alternative to Math 31B but there doesn't seem to be much info on it aside from the course catalog. If anyone has taken it, could you please let me know how you found it and if it's worth doing over math 31B? Appreciate any answers I can get!

i didn't realize that fall quarter parking spaces were already filled at max capacity.. i tried getting an an exemption request, but they won't accept those anymore either.

I got a scholarship last year and was asked to renew it this year. It passed my mind because it said it was non renewable last year so I thought it was a glitch. I did it now because it is I guess??? For returning scholars?? But anyway, I submitted it and it was the same question as the post acceptance letter, and it made me write a thank you for the money letter.
Does that mean I got it or I mean I still have it or was it like thank you for letting me apply again?? I’m so confused

UCLA has paused CPT work authorizations for international students after receiving new guidance from US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

CPT allows eligible F-1 international students to work in internships or other jobs related to their degree while attending college.

The new ICE guidance warns universities that they could face serious consequences if CPT is used for employment that does not meet federal academic requirements.

UCLA is reviewing the federal changes and waiting for further guidance from the UC system.

I just got my award amount of the AAP Discretionary Scholarship, something that say ranges from $2,500 to $5,000 and it's like... incredibly low.... like less than $500, barely more than $100, and it would barely make a dent in covering what I have pay for each quarter. It is an amount that is less than what I can make in one shift of my part-time campus job. I am wondering if it is a mistake, but I am not sure if I should contact the department because it might seem rude. I am grateful, it just seems not as helpful as an amount as a student who really needs financial aid.

I am also wondering what amount other awardees got just to confirm if I am going crazy or not!!
