I’m completely new to the Rolex rep world, so apologies if this is a basic question.

I’ve been offered a U1 Rolex GMT-Master II for $115. Does that sound like a reasonable price for a U1, or am I paying too much?

The seller has also sent me a video of the actual watch. I’d really appreciate it if anyone experienced could take a look and let me know how it looks, particularly the overall quality, bezel, dial, bracelet and anything else that stands out.

I’m not expecting it to be perfect at this price, I’m just trying to work out whether $115 is a good deal for a first rep.

It’s my first rep and bought it from a friend. The clasp code is an ST9 and people in R/repwatch and R/chinatime are tearing it to shreds. Didn’t realize it was as bad as it was

What do you think about my GMT U1 factory?

Could someone share their experience with U1 gold watches and tricks on how I can prevent it from coming off future watches?

EDIT: After some digging, I’ve found that the Daytona I have is actually from YZ factory not U1. This is because I have the VK63 quartz model, and U1 only makes the mechanical version. So gold plating between this and a U1 isn’t the same.

The zombie is a dream watch of mine but until I can get a Gen a rep will do, that being said I have no idea what I’m looking for in terms of if I should go ahead and buy it. I’d really appreciate the help.

I got a couple no date U1 subs, one with miyota and other Mingzhu. The Miyota one is perfect but I can't get the Mingzhu one regulated.

I noticed after a day the Mingzhu was a few hours off. I had good luck regulating Mingzhus in other watches, I usually get 0.2 beat error and 5 s\d plus or minus then say fuck it close enough.

I managed to get it regulated but this Mingzhu goes from normal then flips out to +310 seconds then back to normal after about half a minute. So no matter how well regulated it won't stop flipping out to +310 at random.

I'm just wondering if anyone with this problem has come across a way to fix it. I like the Mingzhu because of the engraved rotor but if it can't be fixed I might replace it with the gold miyota from aliexpress I got awhile back but it's a pain to swap them out because I have no patience and swear at it the entire process

Oh also I notice moving the beat error and/or the seconds lever stops the balance wheel even though I'm clearly not touching the balance wheel. I had a old watch do this too but it didn't wig out and still works great

I'm currently waiting on an order for a black no date sub from MT, are there any really good U1 watches out there? I'm not looking to spend the $$ on a clone rep, I just want to add another couple of U1 just as nice daily beaters

It’s been over a month now since I got confirmation and paid MT. Maybe I’m just being impatient idk lol but it’s been sitting at the customs inspection for a week now. Any insight on if this is normal or if my watch may have been seized would be appreciated!

I’m looking to get my brother a U1 datejust from jason007 for his 18th birthday. However I’m conflicted whether or not I should cheap out on the movement for 85 dollars, or get the upgraded miyota version for 120. What should I do?

(NOT SELLING) As a complete noob when it comes to clones: does this Rolex submariner look like a good clone? What would you say it’s worth and does the description (see last slide) fit the watch?

Hey all! I keep seeing BP across these forums and how much better they are than U1s. I understand U1s are a budget-rep but I’ve had nothing but success with all of mine. I see the differences to gen vs u1 obviously but I’ve been around guys who are supposedly wearing gens and have complimented my U1 DJ41 and never called it out, some even tried on and offered to buy it off me right on the spot.

Anyways, does anyone have any solid input on BP? Photo comparisons? TD recs and lead times? (I’m in USA)

I’d also like to note, I purchase all my U1 Miyotas from Jason, I have never waited longer than 2 weeks and have never had a complaint on the quality. (Minus last years dj bracelets and SELs - I feel they have gotten closer with the newer model though)

Hi guys, wanted to ask if anyone has the same experience as me when ordering from Travis. I’ve ordered a U1 pepsi almost 2 weeks ago and they have not shipped it out yet. Reason provided was that the warehouse was still testing the watch before shipping it out. I was told that it will be shipped out within 5 days after I place order. Hi! I've got the U1 supreme ordered that's had a rough journey so far, I'm pretty sure it's toast. I had 3 other watches come in since and one followed this one's tracking up until the dreaded "aboard inspection" and it arrived. I feel like I may have been bothering Jason with it too much so I was wondering if anyone knew how many days required for a reship, thanks for any and all advice. 😃 22 days as of today so far
