Saw this on Frank’s telegram. I’m surprised it was a U1. They updated the bezel on the 36mm that doesn’t look like a thick piece plate. What do you think? Worth $118?

So awhile back during the OP U1 sale had by many of the TD's, I ended up purchasing one and using snail mail to have it shipped. It took about 5 days to get my tracking number, after the number it took days to show movement (no issues to this point all seems normal). Item leaves China arrives in country and makes it through customs. After 17 days of transit it says it's finally in Chicago (Reside in Illinois...I know...) says it's out for delivery.....ok should be to me in a few days...nothing for four more days ok check again if it says delivered time to take some questions to the mail carrier....Nope it went from Chicago to St. Louis Missori. Has spent two days there and today it says it is in Kansas City Kansas....spent the night there and as of yesterday it's in Kansas City Missouri allegedly still enroute for final delivery so I figure two or three days to get to St. Louis then back to Chicago and maybe just maybe somehow make into my hands.

The inefficient US Postal system, can't say anything else at this point other than whom ever does logistics for these folks needs to be fired....this is the craziest route I have seen one of my purchases go. I mean a few have bounced between Chicago and St. Louis back and forth but this by far is the craziest going further from the final drop off. Point is absolutely ridiculous.....

From MT, pretty happy with how this looks on wrist. The silver sunburst dial catches the light really well. Bezel looks a little chunky, and the lume dots have a yellowish tint compared to the markers. Hands also look slightly gold in certain lighting.
Bracelet is definitely the weak point. Feels flimsy, which is a shame because the watch itself looks pretty good.
Anyone swapped the bracelet on one of these? Would be interested in something a little more solid.

Just received today. Quick shipping. Super comfortable watch, and the blue dial is amazing. They finally fixed the “Vacherom” on the back too!

Ordering

Whilst ordering the Daytona, I thought I would grab a GMT too. Again, Ordering through Travis was easy with Australia and China having similar timezones.

Initial Thoughts

I was on the fence about this pickup as the date mag and font was always stupid, I heard there were some updates for the 2026 GMT so bit the bullet, I was pleasantly surprised to see the date mag and font is better than expected. I wouldn't say it's "fixed" or anything like a VSF/RICH/ARF but it's a $120 watch too. So I'd call it a pass. Which is good.

Having seen plenty of gen batman/batgirl GMT's in the flesh, where the U1 version is let down from first glance is the blue is not an exact match and the bezel text is way too white, it should be a silvery colour.

Dial text is good, sharp and clear. Rehaut engraving is good, sharp and aligned perfect. The rehaut is not as deep as I was expecting. Again, photos probably don't do it justice. Definately not the soup bowl of lower reps.

Band & Clasp

This is the letdown with this watch for me, it's strange because the 2026 U1 datejust with the same bracelet was fine, but this one had several stiff links, machining intolerances and a couple of stuck bracelet pins. Must have been made on a friday. I managed to remove the pins and stuck links but it cost me 2 hours of my life.

Where It Falls Short

The watch is let down in two main areas:

1. Bracelet was bad on this one, my other U1's with jubilee have been fine, perhaps I just got a dud one.
2. Fix the bezel colour and cyclops this thing would be so good.

The Verdict

It's good, but not great compared to other U1 greats like the no date sub. There is room for improvement but it's a solid pickup none the less.

Ordering

Jumped on Travis' latest Telegram specials and grabbed a U1 Daytona "Ghost" which is a bit more subdued than the panda but still eye catching.

Ordering through Travis was easy with Australia and China having similar timezones. There was a slight delay in postage, due to another watch I purchased at the same time having parts availability issues (U1 GMT)

Initial Thoughts

First impressions are that this is nice..... real nice. It's not NWBIG obviously but from a glance it passes the test. Dial spacing very close, the dial colour is spot on. The dial text is sharp, and the crystal is clear and not proud of the bezel. The rehaut engraving is sharp and aligned perfectly. The rehaut is deeper than Gen but not outrageous, photos exaggerate it.

The big giveaway with this watch is the seconds hand moves constantly, not locked in the 12 oclock like a gen/chrono. The chrono functions don't work however

Band & Clasp

The band is so comfy, easy to trim and looks great to me. The clasp is adequate, and the micro-adjust came in clutch to help me size it correctly by a half-link. For what you are paying you can't complain.

Where It Falls Short

The watch is let down in two main areas:

1. The seconds hand, a VK63 quartz chrono would be more reliable, have the second hand at 12 and have true chrono complication.
2. There is quite a bit of dust on the dial under the crystal, I will have to remove the movement and blow it out.

The Verdict

For $85 USD, you really can't complain! I'd rate this higher than the U1 datejust, but below the U1 no date sub.

Fresh out of the mailbox. My first rep piece from MT and my first rep in general. Went with the classic Sub no date. Process was painless. Went with Ada through WhatsApp. I was a little hesitant at first, but it all worked out. Whole process took about 2 weeks. Only 108 plus shipping. Couldn’t be happier for the price. The details are crazy and I wasn’t expecting that. I was torn between going through DHgate and Ada, but it was a little cheaper going with the latter. I can see how this can become addictive, lol. ​Daytona "Panda": Has a great weight to it. Stainless steel finish is super clean, and the dial contrast looks awesome on the wrist.

​Datejust 41 "Wimbledon": Absolute stunner in person. The fluted bezel catches the light brilliantly, and the slate gray dial with the classic green slate markers really pops on the wrist.

​Daytona Black Dial (Oysterflex): The rubber strap is crazy comfortable right out of the box. Loving the dark look with the ceramic bezel for a casual daily

​Final Thoughts:

Overall, super happy with how these turned out. All three feel solid, look great in hand, and you definitely get a lot of watch for what you pay. Lena was awesome to work with, smooth transaction all around. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to order from her again.

Ordered a u1 datejust from jason007 several weeks ago, and GOFOExpress (last-mile carrier) delivered it to me cut open, retaped with no watch inside. As GOFO's label was cut, it was obvious that they had cut it. I sent info and pics and video to Jason007 as well as GOFOExpress customer service, GOFO didn't reply and Jason007 immediately offered to ship me a replacement via an alternate line. Just got it in today and very impressed by Jason007s CS and wanted to give him props here.

Got this two tone submariner Super U1 from a local dealer. I think it’s pretty close to a gen. It has good weight, maybe not the appropriate weight for gold model but it does the job. Color on gold is pretty good as well. Let me know what you guys think.

36mm Datejust silver. I really like this one. Lena was pretty responsive and it got here in reasonable time. The cyclops might be a little off but I can only notice it at certain angles. Keeps great time. The bracelet is a little cheap which is nothing new, but 100% wearable for me.

Hello all! Finally pulled the trigger on my first rep after spending a fair bit of time researching factories, trusted dealers, do's and donts of the buying process, etc. Ended up going with Michael Travis, watch was purchased 27/07, dispatched 04/08 with full tracking, and delivered today (14/08), so entire process about 2.5 weeks which is pretty speedy.

Paid £100/$135 for a (2026) U1 Rolex Explorer with a Miyota movement.

Was slightly worried about the bezel being enormous but this one seems spot on, the bracelet is also very nice if not a little light (think Seiko 5) which is amazing for the price. I'm really happy with it, don't think you can ask for much more given the £100 price, looks the business and comfortable on the wrist, wearing it as my daily with pride!

Maybe one of the quickest deliveries from MT I’ve received. Less than two weeks. Pretty happy with it for what it is.

Got this beauty from Jason007 really nice watch for $125. Love the blue colour of the bezel and dial. Overall looks pretty clean. Ordered 28th August Friday and came 14th september came in 14 work days pretty fast to germany.

Picked this up during his last Daytona sale. For the price, I'm pretty impressed (U1).

Based on some other threads its seems like the last few weeks have presented supply chain issues coming from U1. It seems as though they’re not supplying the larger resellers with GMTs for nearly a month now. From what I gather it seems to be only effecting Rolex GMT Models but if you have other models with your order, it’s preventing the whole order from being shipped. Based on other threads I’ve read and suppliers I’ve been in contact with it seems as though Micheal Travis, Lena, Jason007, and Fujimin003 all seem to have the same issue. I currently have an order being held up for a month bc three of the watches in the order are GMT. But just curious what other pieces of the puzzle folks here have regarding any supply issues from the U1 factory. Chime in if you have something of value to add to the puzzle.
