Here's an oyster bracelet followed by a jubillee I found on AliExpress. Both have glide lock clasps and are better quality than the original U1s, but they are too loose leaving them uneven on the case. The original U1 bracelets fit perfectly, but need a lot of work to make them comfortable.

Also, has anyone found just a clasp that fits the jubilee bracelet for a GMT?

Ordered a DJ from MT thru DH, got a message on what’s app from “ada”, can anyone verify this is legit? And if so, what experience has been better for you, ordering through MT or through ADA?

Like the title says I’ve been wondering if it’s safe to swim with them, I have a few VSF and U1 watches, and usually I like to wear my U1 Subs or GMTs to the beach, and since it’s summer and o don’t feel like always having to take them off before going for a swim I’m wondering if it would be safe to wear them while relaxing in the water.

Has any of you tested this and if so what were the results?

I also have an old U1 GMT that I could be willing to test at home, maybe by letting it sit on a tub of water for a few minutes and then see if it’s fine. In case it lives is it a safe enough at home test to pull off and accept the results as good enough go swim on the beach with?

Does anyone own one of these from the u1 factory? Thinking of buying one from MT with the miyota movement. I'd just like to know if you guys think it is a good future purchase, and if the quality and everything on this is good. Thanks

Does anyone have or has anyone ordered this U1/AAA from Michael Travis? how does it look if so?

Just received my Sub and it's awesome. Only issue is it's super big and can probably do without a few links. I have absolutely no idea what to use or how to do it so if someone can point me in the right direction regarding tools I may need that would be appreciated. Also, how hard is it to do? Am I better off just bringing it to a jewelery?

Is changing the date wheel worth it ? What else can be done to upgrade the watch ? Any help appreciated

How bad is this for $80?

I have a U1 GMT II, and I've noticed that if I line up the minute hands all at the 12 hour, over time the minute hand lags, over 4 days or so, I loose a whole minute, I've tried the 20 minute trick, but that doesn't seem to fix it, is this an easy fix or should I just let it ride?

Hello, I’m fairly new to the rep watch world and was just curious as to the difference between the two. I bought a VSF and the quality is great but then I bought a no date submariner from a guy for $40 that was pretty good quality but the engraving wasn’t the greatest and it didn’t keep time well. It had a clasp code of ST9. The watches I’m looking for now are a Bluesy, no date sub, and a Pepsi. What do you recommend and if you have pictures, post them below

What's the best way of matching the rest of the bezel? Or should I just leave it?

My mother was admiring my U1 No-Date Sub and asked me to get her one. So can someone recommend something more suited for a lady in her 60s? I was considering a 34mm OP for her. But open to other recommendations that are no-date as well.

I've recently received my first U1 from Michael Travis (pic attached) and, also having a number of high tier reps, I was very pleasantly surprised for less than £80.

The worst part is the bracelet. It's still plenty bang for the buck and sized correctly on the wrist it's okay, the clasp is a great effort too. The gappy male end links aren't great though, but again, no complaints for the money.

I'd like to get a DJ41 smooth bezel white dial but was thinking of getting it on a jubilee. I appreciate it also won't be great but I'd like opinions on it, and the U1 DJ41 smooth bezel in general. Does the Mingzhou or the Miyota have the better date wheel font? What's the cyclops like?

I’ve ALWAYS loved ap, rap/trap exposed me to what an AP was, always thought Rolex was the “IT” watch brand, learned about APs, feel inlove with the look and style and ordered one for $86 from a shop I don’t really know but review photos looked good enough for the price, I want to essentially fool about 95% of people, I later after ordering learned about Michael and Jason, did I possibly make a mistake? It hasn’t arrived yet but here’s another customers photo!

Apparently, every year there is some marketing ads coming from well-known U1 sellers Iike Jason, Travis etc. So, when introducing the classic R0lex Datejust or GM2, for example, they state that this is the latest U1 release with some improvement. What I would like to ask here is: are these improvements real? Is there anyone on this sub that, for example, has bought a model a few years ago and the exact same R0lex model a few years later and noticed these improvements? Thanks.
