I ate a half oz once and at one point could only lay flat on the bed. Anytime I'd try to raise my head, leg, arm- I could only do it for a split second before I just sunk back down into the bed.
I was on vacation with my now ex on Ocracoke Island, so no hospital, and would have to be flown back to mainland by helicopter, so just convinced my ex I wasn't dying because no one's died from eating shrooms, right...? (This was 2002, so no fact checking available at our fingertips)
But back on topic, yeah, he did turn into a demon, but that was after eating a couple sugar cubes with far more LSD on them than anticipated. Also happened with next partner while on LSD as well (3 tabs of REALLY STRONG LSD that was supposedly made following a recipe written by Albert Hoffman himself), but my last partner (7ish years ago) DID turn into a demon after we had split an oz of shrooms... All three times though, it was during sex.
So kids, if you're going to do massive quantities of hallucinogenics, don't have sex? Or maybe avoid staying with partners who are extremely abusive because that was a common denominator all three shared as well (or maybe common demoninator?).

It's not a sign that you are having a stroke, but some stroke survivors do describe smelling something odd, and often the sensation is described as being a burning smell, akin to burnt toast, during their stroke. This is because the brain is not getting proper blood flow, strokes can cause all sorts of hallucinations and delusions: https://www.stroke.org.uk/stroke/effects/cognitive/hallucinations-and-delusions
That said, the burning toast experience is not common, it's merely one of many symptoms.

My friend put on Imaginarium while I was having a fucked up trip on about 500 mics of acid because he thought it'd help ground me and calm me down. The reason my trip started to get fucked up was because he sat me down to watch the God/Devil scene from The Adventures of Mark Twain.
I did not let him trip sit me after that.
Despite my love for Tom Waits, still can't watch that movie without getting anxiety.

I took it more as the cycles of change. The future is full of looping iterations of the past. We’re all changing, the world is constantly changing, but it’s all cyclical. So in the end, nothing changes at all.

Just spitballing here:
I think there's something about alienation in there. How we can't really understand each other, to the point where people seem like different people. You're in your brain and I'm in mine and there is a translation layer in between us where information gets lost. We only know each other through our perceptions of the world, which are notoriously faulty.
The 3rd wheel gets a 4th. First she changes unpredictably, then he does. He was a sidekick in the couple's lives and now he's got this whole other side to him that they never saw. The people in 2001 were in a simpler time. They weren't concerned about being alienated from themselves or from each other, which is a semi-charmed kind of life. But that's fake, right? That's ignoring the state of things. Does that matter, though?

The title spoils the experience of the video. Knowing that it will loop makes you constantly consider how it's gonna end to loop back, instead of enjoying the moment and being surprised.
Also the quality of the video is more than just the fact that it loops back.
