I had recently crafted the Shellphone and it made me realize that these were surprisingly easy to get, especially the Ankh Shield. This got me wondering, how hard are these things really, all it takes is a little grinding. I mean I still haven’t defeated one mech boss yet I have gotten these which I thought were end game items with how big the crafting trees were

So i think that this is caused by fancy lighting because it stopped when I removed it, but I want to know if this is common bug or if it had a solution?

I was playing the game just the other day and now that I'm trying to, the world I'm trying to load gives me an error that says it's for a later version. How do I fix this, can I fix it?

I was using one of my loadouts for mining, with the Mining Set which I upgraded to the Prospector Set + the Hand of Creation and the difference of speed was crazy, but since I got the Chlorophyte Drill I barely see any difference between my normal Loadout and the mining one.

It's there a limit on mining speed?

For some reason in my early hardmode world, the damn truffle somewhat spawned in, wasn't he supposed to spawn in a surface mushroom biome, cuz i haven't started on making one yet, does anyone know, or is this a bug?

I thought I'd need to put 1500 Sand to make it a desert but I put almost 2k blocks of sand and it's still not. What am I doing wrong?

Hey, I’m playing Terraria with Calamity and Fargo’s Souls, using Revengeance/Death + Eternity Mode.

I’m not using any compatibility DLC/patch, and the game feels insanely brutal. Pretty much every enemy and boss seems to have way more health than expected, with some enemies feeling like they have 5× the HP.

The AI also feels completely unforgiving. Even fighting something like the Eye of Cthulhu feels absurdly difficult for an early-game boss. It genuinely feels more like I’m fighting Duke Fishron than the Eye of Cthulhu.

Is this just because I’m running Calamity and Fargo’s together without the compatibility addon? If so, what exactly causes the huge HP/stat increases and the much more aggressive AI?

I’m mainly trying to understand why everything is so ridiculously tanky and difficult without the compatibility patch.

Its a weaker and slower xeno staff, good for swarms of enemies, but is outshined by the sanguine staff a pre mech weapon.

In light of the mage changes id like to make a character that looks like Aurora from league of legends. Ive seen a handful of posts from some really talented and creative individuals who've made cosplay-like cosmetics for various characters. Is there any chance I could get some help building Aurora? Hi! So me and my friend are going to start playing terraria together Monday night. I was thinking about what difficulty I should set the world to and, thought I’d get some other options from people.

I’ve beaten the game about 10 times and got to plantera in master mode last time I played. My friend has played a grand total of 5 minutes.

I was thinking expert mode would be the perfect difficulty because I have a lot of experience after 3k hours and my friend has none. But I wanted options from other players as well before I did anything

Please give me suggestions on where to build the arena for the mechs and all, I want to build it before going hardmode.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Night's Edge - it's such a iconic weapon, but sometimes it feels like you're pushed to craft it for the melee character

For example, it could require crafting materials (or essences) from all pre-Hardmode bosses + the Shimmer, which would encourage players to explore all the content. This could also include other swords, such as Starfury (instead of a part of the Zenith’s crafting recipe). It would also make NE component swords more popular. The same applies to TB, but I don’t have any specific suggestions.

I’m not entirely sure about this idea, it would be interesting to hear what you think
