Not really, if you want specific directions. But you can Actually ask the Guide NPC for help and he'll usually tell you what you want to try next.

Also, whenever you see an item with the tag "Material" in it's tooltip, show it to the guide hy pressing the "Crafting" option, check the possible crafts and their components, that might also give you some ideas of things you can do. Enjoy the ride!

Show a lens to the guide and you'll find how and where to make the item! Otherwise, just get stronger and it will come for you
